Michelle Obama is another one who just cannot accept the fact that VP Kamala Harris sucks.
I really think the Obamas think she’s great. Therefore, racism and sexism have to be the reason why she’s not demolishing former President Donald Trump:
I got to ask myself, “Well, why on earth is this race even close?” I lay awake at night wondering what in the world is going on. And it’s clear to me that the question isn’t whether Kamala is ready for this moment because by every measure, she has demonstrated that she’s ready.
The real question is, as a country, are we ready for this moment?

In my work we used to get into situations where we would be before a Judge and would get into “But For” arguments about racism and sexism,
To boil it down if the racism and sexism were eliminated would the same decision have been reached? To wit: Management may indeed be racist and sexist but they would still fire you for theft even if they were not.
I think Kamala is functionally incompetent and thus charges of racism and sexism, even if true, are irrelevant.

There is no evidence or reason to believe that she ever whispered any such thing. If you believe she did, then you have no grounds not to believe that Trump said dead soldiers were suckers, or whatever other nonsense the Dems have made up about him. At least in those cases there is an actual person who claims to have heard it; in this case there was never anyone, it was always just pure speculation. The best guess by actual lip readers is that it was a complimentary comment about how the flag was being folded.

We see her lips moving. We do not see her saying what the liars claim she said, and the school to which the alleged source was supposed to belong said it was a lie.
In Trump’s case an actual person claims to have head him say it. That doesn’t make it true, but it makes it a stronger case than this one. If you believe this one then you have no grounds for denying the one about Trump.
If you believe a lie told because it is told about Obama you have to do the same for Trump.

The shopper didn’t recognize the sunglasses-wearing, baseball cap-clad Obama, and, had asked for her help in reaching an item situated on a high shelf. Obama obliged, then later recounted the incident as a “feel-good” moment, on late-night TV; a good deed done for a peasant/plebian.
A year or so later, in a Vanity Fair puff piece, the noxious and despicable Obama brazenly recast the entire encounter as an incident of alleged racism, because the women shopper (who clearly hadn’t recognized the disguised Obama) possessed the temerity to ask her for assistance, as the hired help.

The shopper’s mistake was in not promptly suing Obama for slander. The accusation of racism was a patently false statement, made maliciously and knowingly by the powerful and privileged Obama.
Even if the shopper had been identified (which she was not) she’d have no grounds to sue. None of the facts she recited are in dispute. The attribution of a racist motive is an opinion, and thus inherently not actionable.
We don’t even know whether this story even happened in the first place. The shopper may well be fictional.
Even if the elements of a successful slander suit weren’t present, it still would have been worthwhile to sue, to expose Obama as a vicious, casually flippant and unrepentant fabulist, in the media.

I was volunteering as a Republican poll watcher today. My Democratic counterpart was a Black woman and we chatted as we observed the goings on. She told me that in 2008, when Obama was first elected, she and her Black acquaintances/friends/family didn’t believe America would ever elect a Black man as President. (At the same time I recall having come to the fore gone conclusion that it was inevitable that Obama would be elected, precisely because he was Black.) She then said that after he was elected that the same friends, etc believed that he would be assassinated before his inauguration.
So many have been indoctrinated in this stew of this belief of American racism. Barack made it worse. But I always thought Michelle was worse than he, especially when she made her comment about never having been proud to be an American until her husband was elected to be president.
