More College Female Volleyball Teams Won’t Play San Jose State Due to Male Player
“The University of Wyoming women’s volleyball team became the third in the nation to forfeit a game to San Jose State this season.”
The women’s volleyball team at San Jose State University has a transgender team member, and multiple other teams are refusing to play them as a result, although not necessarily admitting to that as the reason why.
This is not just about the politics of trans issues. It’s a safety issue. In 2022, a North Carolina high school girl playing volleyball against a team with a trans player suffered head trauma when the trans player spiked the ball, and it hit her head.

The New York Post reports:
3rd college volleyball team refuses to compete against transgender opponent, forfeiting game
The University of Wyoming women’s volleyball team became the third in the nation to forfeit a game to San Jose State this season.
Wyoming joined Boise State and Southern Utah, all of which did not give a specific reason for the forfeit.
“After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San Jose State University,” the volleyball program said in a statement on Tuesday. “Per Mountain West Conference policy, the conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming.”
Blaire Fleming, a transgender female, competes on San Jose State’s team.
Fleming is a redshirt junior at San Jose State University, who plays as an outside and right-side hitter and played two seasons at SJSU after previously playing at Coastal Carolina.
Outkick has a statement from SJSU:
OutKick reached out to San Jose State after the Wyoming announcement, and it sent us a statement.
“It is disappointing that our SJSU student athletes, who are in full compliance with NCAA and Mountain West rules and regulations, are being denied opportunities to compete,” the school told OutKick via email.
“We are committed to supporting our student-athletes through these challenges and in their ability to compete in an inclusive, fair, safe and respectful environment.”
The Mountain West, which did not respond to a request for comment after the Wyoming forfeit on Tuesday, did not immediately return a request for comment on Wednesday.
Utah State isn't scheduled to play San Jose State — with transgender player Blaire Fleming — for another three weeks.

If all women athletes did what these volleyball players did from day one, this idiocy would’ve been over much sooner. It seems that it’s the women athletes who need to grow a pair since those in charge don’t have ’em.
Fact: the net in women’s volleyball is set seven inches lower than in the men’s game.
The player in question, named Blaire Fleming, is 6′ 1″, and as an outside hitter in the game would enjoy a substantial advantage. Apparently he hits a spike that reaches 80 mph which is a lot faster than the women in the game can handle. There’s another advantage.
I can’t find corroborating evidence, but apparently Mr. Fleming played on a girls team in high school. I don’t know if he ever played on a men’s team.

I played at the collegiate level (lower tier) in the mid 1970’s in the formative years of the sport. The game has advanced tremedously since I played. I had a 34inch vertical which was considered to be exceptionally high in the 1970’s. That vertical would be considered pathetic in today’s game.
I can tell you that the mens game is massively faster and more powerful than the womens game.
Watch any youtube video of a mens game and womens game to compare the difference.
Another interesting tidbit, In 1974 the US womens team (olympic team) arranged an scrimmage game against an ad hoc mens team from the dFW metroplex. there were special ground rules to make the game competitive A) all men height 5’10” or below and B) no mens hitting in front of the 10′ line.

Did you know that there is an open league and a women’s league in chess? Just like every other competitive endeavor! The open league allows anyone, where as the women’s league allows only women. The trannys can play on the men’s teams which aren’t actually men’s teams, but open leagues open to all.
Women’s athletics was created to give women a place to compete because they can not physically compete against men. Yet clever idiots, such as yourself, can’t seem to grasp this simple biological fact.

Standing up for what is right is not without consequences. Congratulations for the Athletic Directors, coaches, and players who made the right choice. This incident should warn any other team from engaging in unfair practices – the team will be ostracized.

It’s a shame the other teams must forfeit to protect the health and safety of their players. That said it would be interesting to know how many are doing it and if that gives a majority of Athletic Directors and Univ Presidents who might change the participation rules of the conference.
This is the only way to fight it. If enough schools have the courage then it either get rid of the man on the women’s team or don’t have a program.
It will also send a good message to the NCAA regarding their DIE initiatives.

Mike LaChance, Fleming is NOT a “trans female”. He is a man pretending to be a woman. There is nothing female about him.
Male/female is as basic as gravity. Why this is so difficult for some to comprehend is beyond me.
