FEMA Establishes Hurricane Response ‘Rumor Control’ to Report ‘Misinformation’

FEMA Establishes Hurricane Response ‘Rumor Control’ to Report ‘Misinformation’

FEMA was originally tasked to respond to natural disasters…not a man-caused disaster, such as the flood of illegal aliens from Biden-Harris policies.

FEMA set up a “Rumor Control” webpage for people to snitch on those who spread the truth about the agency’s mishandling of funds, choosing illegal aliens over American citizens.

The mainstream media has stepped in, desperately attempting to shield both FEMA and the Biden-Harris administration from revelations that millions of dollars in indirect aid went to support the needs of the massive influx of illegal aliens.

For example, this passage appeared in The Washington Post.

During a rally Thursday in Saginaw, Mich., former president Donald Trump suggested without evidence that FEMA had used some disaster relief money to help immigrants who are in the country illegally to resettle in the United States. There is no evidence that FEMA has diverted any disaster relief funding for this purpose.

“They stole the FEMA money, just like they stole it from a bank, so they could give it to their illegal immigrants that they want to have vote for them this season,” Trump said.

The trouble is that there are receipts, such as this FEMA webpage, touting the $640 million given in indirect aid to FEMA as part of its Shelter and Services Program (SSP).

Others brought even more receipts.

Then, there are stories like this one about a San Diego Migrant Welcome Center….paid for buy a FEMA grant.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 Tuesday to accept nearly $19.6 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to pay for a migrant transition day center to help immigrants entering the United States travel to their final destinations.

Supervisors on April 30 voted 4-1 to advance the proposal, after directing Sarah Aghassi, interim chief administrative officer, to begin programs to temporarily provide shelter, food, transportation, acute medical care, personal hygiene supplies and labor to support migrants recently released from federal Department of Homeland Security custody.

Let me stress: FEMA was originally tasked to respond to disasters such as river floods…not a man-caused disaster, such as the flood of illegal immigrants.

Now, let’s address those “rumors” about Americans only getting $750 in recovery aid.

It comes from Vice President Kamala Harris’ own words:

During her speech, Harris mentioned the cash disbursements as one part of a larger relief effort.

“And the federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750 for folks who need immediate needs being met, such as food, baby formula, and the like. And you can apply now,” she said.

Granted, it’s not all the recovery money an American can get. But it begs the question: How, exactly, do you apply with no home, no electricity, and no mail service?

Perhaps there is a reason Americans have reverted to more traditional recovery methods.

And there are reports that applications are being denied.

Meanwhile, citizens in Ukraine enjoy light and heat on the American dime.

And FEMA isn’t the only agency with issues, either.

Meanwhile, X remains the source of information and updates on regions impacted by Hurricane Helene. The elite press and its “disinformation” tactics will not work this time.

Traitor Joe’s junta’s priorities for Emergency Management:

1) Assess electoral impact of emergency operations before commencing. Adjust accordingly.

2) Direct all participants to “connected” (i.e. government approved) businesses to work with … otherwise, no cash for you!!

3) Force Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity insanity on everyone and everything … otherwise, no cash for you!!

4) Bring full propaganda campaign to support government and to divert attention from above priorities.

The ineptitude, criminality, despicable inaction, and psychopathic lack of sympathy shown by the leftists really shines through in this compete debacle and the shameless criminal behavior of the dems and the executive agencies is really something for the record books. This is … CRAZY!! Though we can say that it would be expected by any reasonable person who saw the same done with East Palestine, the Maui fire, the border, the military, … the MULTIPLE assassination attempts on President Trump, …

Is it too much to ask the House to friggin start impeaching some of these traitors??!!?!?

WTFFF??!

“…millions of dollars in indirect aid went to support the needs of the massive influx of illegal aliens.”

Millions?

Try BILLIONS. Tens of Billions.

The Millions were wasted with DEI insanity.

Maybe FEMA should put more effort into disaster relief instead of rumor control websites? Oh and don’t arrest people bringing in supplies.

Well, there’s your first bit of misinformation right there: FEMA a trusted source? YGBSM.

There are to many people with too many ego’s more interested in protecting their bureaucratic turf than helping the people that is their job.

      Exactly. FEMA=bureaucracy
For immediate help in a disaster, use the National Guard:military who have the equipment and skills ready asap.
      And, thankfully, the wonderful volunteers!

“Let me stress: FEMA was originally tasked to respond to disasters such as river floods…not a man-caused disaster, such as the flood of illegal immigrants.”

But… when your entire goal is to Cloward-Piven the whole country — CAUSING disasters — who else ya gonna call?

“Still waiting … the helicopter is trying to land to deliver critical supplies. What’s the number to call?”

1-800-ALL-GOV. Your call is important to us, sir… or madam… or nonbinary entity… or dog-fetished luggage thief. To hear this message in English, dial 88.

FEMA needs to be abolished all together.

Ron DeSantis has shown that emergency management can be effective done at the state level. If you don’t like the way your state handles emergencies then you can either change governors or move to a different state.

With FEMA, the corruption is inescapable.

FEMA money was given to illegal immigrants should lead to long prison sentences. Should. But won’t.

FEMA employees are paid to convince citizens only they can save us while simultaneously denying assistance. You can show them pictures of your house floating down the river with grandma clinging to the chimney and they will deny you aid while gaslighting you the entire time.

“to convince citizens only they can save us while simultaneously denying assistance”
Same strategy on the Second Amendment.
    1. “Only we may defend your life. If you try to do it yourself, we will prosecute you.”
    2. “Not now, we’re busy doing something else.”

EastTennessee has always been at war with NorthAlabama.

Two huge disasters in the news:

1. Hurricane Helene: a natural disaster
2. FEMA: a bureaucratic disaster

So far, not much relief from either one.

“Misinformation” is defined by those in power as being any information true or false getting out to the public that does anything but praise those in power.

Knowing how things are here, I am really, REALLY surprised that some sort of shooting hasn’t started.

I don’t want some event or events that will lead to the declaration of martial law or even a civil war but something has to happen. If The People keep taking more and more of this it will only get worse, especially if we end up with an Emhoff administration.

Who would you prefer: A FEMA DEI bureaucrat saying fill out this form on your phone (with no cell service) and wait ten days, or a guy with a mule loaded with supplies? Kinda like the Katrina decision: Most folks woulda picked a sailor with the Cajun Navy.

Dear FEMA: This is EXACTLY the wrong thing to do. Do you even know what your mission is?

Not that I expect an answer but I thought I’d ask.

It’s just a rumor that FEMA is making things worse. I know one National Guard Unit that was activated last week and headed towards the area was stopped by FEMA and DOT from going to their area of operation. They have heavy equipment, food etc. People told them they would have to wait a couple of days before entering. Yeah, just a rumor like the rumor FEMA are driving around in bullet proof SUV’s and F350’s .

I am in SE Georgia and I have a vacation cottage in western NC so I got double hit. I spent over an hour trying to complete the FEMA application. It is convoluted and difficult to complete with it dumping you back to a menu option 5 or 6 screens prior. It is designed to frustrate. I have 35 years of IT and Tier 4 communications experience but the FEMA site is beyond me.

FEMA has DEI listed on its goal page ( https://www.fema.gov/about/strategic-plan/goal-1 ) and have discussions as described in this post – https://twitchy.com/samj/2024/10/07/fema-disaster-preparedness-video-n2401855 .

Can someone who has been impacted by Helene (and Milton) sue the government for discrimination with respect to disaster relief and then follow it up to the Supreme Court?
