Columbia Student Suspended For Saying Be Grateful He’s Not ‘Murdering Zionists’ Now Suing for Anti-Palestinian Bias

Back in April, at the height of the anti-Israel protests at Columbia University, a student named Khymani James, who was deeply involved in the protests, declared, “Be glad — be grateful — that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists.”

James was suspended and is now suing the school.

Suspended Columbia student who declared ‘Zionists don’t deserve to live’ sues university
One of the students who led Columbia University’s anti-Israel encampment in the spring is suing the Ivy League school for suspending him over hateful video in which he declares, “Zionists don’t deserve to live.”
Khymani James, 21, of Boston was denied due process and fair treatment when suspended — a violation of university policy, according to his Sept. 27 Manhattan Supreme Court filing.
The decision to suspend James from campus in April was made mostly because of media pressure, and he also was unfairly targeted because his is black and pro-Palestine, the court document said.
James’ suspension “inflamed the hatred” toward him on the Morningside Heights campus, the lawsuit added.
The student activist suggested in his suit that university officials “routinely privileges students who support Israel over those who do not, rewarding bad faith behavior and in fact turning a blind eye to violations of the student code by Israel supporters.”

Columbia University paid for Khymani James, its now-infamous anti-Semitic student who fantasized on video about “murdering Zionists,” to return home at the height of the spring encampment that plagued Columbia’s campus, according to a new lawsuit. An “associate dean at Columbia” called James, the suit says, to express “concern about his safety” before the school “bought James a train ticket to Boston.”
James filed a lawsuit on Friday against the Ivy League institution, accusing it of using “anti-Palestinian bias” to discriminate against him in favor of “Zionist Jewish” students. He made international headlines in April when video surfaced of him saying that “Zionists don’t deserve to live” and that Columbia officials should be “grateful that I’m not just going out and murdering Zionists.”
Columbia responded by banning James from its Morningside Heights campus and announcing his “interim suspension.” At the time, a Columbia administrator contacted James to arrange his departure from New York City, according to the suit—not because of his suspension, which was not leveled until a day later, but because of safety concerns.

Have to admit my first thought on seeing the picture was to wonder if this was that rare occurrence of a trans boy. I can’t claim any particular expertise in faux-African names (or real ones), but that name struck me as rather androgynous and did not clear potential confusion.

When that language issues from a black mouth, you are accepted at an Ivy League school; no other academic qualifications necessary.
Understand that they mean what they say, and when enough of our civil structure is dismantled they WILL start making words into actions. This young bigot and others like him will be the foot soldiers of the cadres aiming to purify our country.
When a Baptist or Catholic says, “I’ll kill you” in an argument you know it’s hyperbole, but when a Muslim says the same thing, they mean it. When will the world open its eyes to that fact? Muslims the world over are the most murderous group on earth.

If he’s really serious about supporting “the cause”, perhaps he should move to Beirut or Rafah.

He is from Boston, Went to the famous Boston Latin School, the nation’s oldest public HS and once one of the best in the country. That was before they watered down the admissions standards in the name of “equity.” (admissions are now zip code based to get around discrimination charges).
He was previously famous for being a student rep on the Boston School Committee who then resigned because the BSC was racist and adultist in his eyes.
