Baier Reminds Harris That Six Democrats Voted Against Border Bill
Even Bernie Sanders and Cory Booker voted against the bill.
You know how VP Kamala Harris, the left, and the media try to blame former President Donald Trump for killing that awful border bill?
Bret Baier reminds Harris of an important detail: Six Democrats voted against it.
Her answer sounds like the one she gave someone on the Charlamagne tha God podcast. WEIRD:
HARRIS: But let me just finish.
BAIER: Six Democrats voted against that.
HARRIS: ..Learned about that bill and told them to kill it because he preferred to run on a problem instead of fixing a problem. And in this election, this is rightly a discussion that the American people want to have. And what they want are solutions, and they want to president the United States, who’s not playing political games with the issue.
BAIER: I hear you.
HARRIS: …but actually focused on fiction.
BAIER: Six Democrats voted against that bill. It would have allowed 1.8 million illegal immigrants into the country a year.A lot of conservatives had a problem with it.
Kamala: Tries to blame the border crisis on President Trump, because he opposed her mass amnesty "border bill."

Here’s what Harris said on the podcast yesterday:
Trump got word that that bill was afoot, knew it would fix the problem and told his buddies in Congress to kill the bill. And you know why? Because he would prefer to run on a problem instead of fixing a problem, and he’s running his campaign in a way that he does.
You know she would have repeated everything else she said on the podcast if Baier let her.

Fix the border? Well whey the eff didn’t y’all support HR 2 passed.by the HoR in May of ’23…some 17 months ago? Oh yeah b/c the d/prog don’t want to secure the border instead they want ‘comprehensive reform’ (read as more immigrants) despite the unfulfilled promises of increased security in the last ‘comprehensive immigration’ bill in ’86.
What Dems want are a lower class of people to be used as slaves beholden to their masters….
Unfortunately the push for increased to unfettered immigration is NOT exclusive to the d/prog, the uni party DC establishment across party lines have been very supportive of of allowing it in the service of the same would be oligarchs and financial class that shipped the manufacturing base overseas. The desire for cheap labor is a huge reason we have the current crisis.
And this is the sole reason why no one in the UniParty has seriously pushed for actual citizenship for these illegal workers.
Citizens of whatever color could not be paid the same slave wages as illegals get; to keep the wages low, the workers MUST be kept illegal, or the big cudgel of deportation is useless.
As long as our elections are insecure and most anybody, alive or dead can vote, there is no upside to either wing of the UniParty in legalizing the border jumpers.
Trump’s buddies in congress? Heck, over half of the rinos hated him and helped put up roadblocks on getting things done to help the American people.
Was the $40BB for Ukraine and )14BB for Israel not also a big part of that bill’s demise? And wasn’t it NOT the bill Biden-Harris pitched 2.75-3+ years earlier, the first bill she was talking about, “within hours of taking the oath”, just two weeks after ‘the worst day in American history’?
Not only was the “Border Bill” a steaming pile that would have codified inhaling 2,000.000 illegal’s a year into this country, most of the money in it did not go to securing the border but just to hire more agents to facilitate entry. You know, paper pushers.
