Tim Walz Spreads Lie That Trump Wants to ‘Monitor All Pregnancies’
LIE: “Trump is trying to create this new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies to enforce their abortion bans.”
VP candidate Tim Walz cannot stop lying.
In Ashville, NC, Walz spewed the lie that former President Donald Trump wants to create a government agency to monitor pregnancies.
They keep trying to tie Trump to Project 2025, but even that doesn’t call for the government to monitor pregnant women.
Walz said: “Trump is trying to create this new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies to enforce their abortion bans.”
Tim Walz is now claiming in all of his stump speeches that President Trump will "create a new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies."
That is not a thing that Trump has ever once said that he plans on doing.

Walz and Kamala Harris cannot stop spreading this lie.
Harris said at the DNC: “And get this: he plans to create a national anti-abortion coordinator, and force states to report on women’s miscarriages and abortions.”
Harris repeated the lie at the debate with Trump.
Project 2025, which has no ties to Trump, wants the CDC to “collect better data about abortion outcomes, and ensure that miscarriages are not being conflated with abortion.”
That. Is. All.
The lie has been spreading for months, even before Harris became the nominee and the Democrats touted Joe Biden as the nominee.
In May, USA Today fact checked the leftist group Occupy Democrats when it claimed Trump shared this view:
“Trump just told TIME Magazine that in his second term as president he’d force every pregnant woman to submit to constant government monitoring to ensure she’s doing nothing to endanger her ‘unborn child’ – like, say, abortion,” reads the post, which is a quote from a post on X, formerly Twitter. “A vote for Trump is a vote for The Handmaid’s Tale!”

Trump told Time magazine that potential abortion policies, including monitoring women’s pregnancies, should be left up to states to decide. He didn’t push for monitoring or even say whether he was for or against the concept.

Is anyone surprised?
Absolutely not. Why wouldn’t they just manufacture complete absurdities? Their Fellow Travelers in the MSM won’t “fact check” them, and Democratic voters are brainwashed enough to believe them.
Funny thing is, the only time I’ve ever heard of anything like that was Communist Romania. I remember they put that guy in front of a firing squad on Christmas Day.
It is not unusual for someone who thinks they carried a weapon of war in war when they never went to war to be confused about many things.
Walz is now experiencing confusion in regard to prenatal and postnatal conditions. Anyone who is pregnant must register their baby with the Selective Service System by the time the baby reaches 18 years of age.
1. Babies who are assigned male at birth and changed their gender to female are still required to register.
2. Babies who are assigned female at birth and changed their gender to male are not required to register.
There you go, Hillary. Arrest tampon Tim for disinformation.
Dems da rules now…
<sarcasm>
For Democrats, that is neither “disinfomation” nor “misinformation”. Rather for Democrats it is TRUTH even if trump has never said it nor published it in his policies. Therefore Walz would never be arrested since he is a Democrat and such policies would only happen under a Democrat Junta.

The preoccupation with ‘abortion’ by the d/prog is becoming ridiculous. It may be a sort of sacrament to the leftists but isn’t the magic incantation they seem to believe it to be. More and more folks have figured out that Dobbs put the State Legislature back in control and if they don’t like the current laws they can work to change them in their State. If that doesn’t pan out they can move to State where the laws more closely match their own views. Frankly most people probably already reside in a State that more/less matches their cultural orientation on this and other issues and as the great sorting continues more folks will find a new home where they fit in. Those who stubbornly persist such as a ‘conservative’ in CA or a woke lefty in Alabama are gonna be facing increased political alienation and more frustration as the electorate becomes more solidly on one side of the political spectrum.
Ba’al demands sacrifices.
The “preoccupation” with abortion is because it is a proven winning issue with voters. That is why the Democrats seize upon it and won’t let it go.
In a few purple CD and some swing State races I agree that in the immediate few election cycles in the wake of Dobbs abortion has been leveraged by d/prog activists via referendum.
The downside of those is they are largely one trick ponies. If the referendum is successfully passed then the bucket is full and going back to the well isn’t an option. If it fails by a significant % say 5%+ then the electorate has made up its mind for the foreseeable future.
Bottom line is it and other high profile issues like trans or 2A are largely State issues rather than Federal issues. Unless a candidate for Federal office is advocating for a Federal Abortion law then it remains largely confined to purple CD and purple States where it can be leveraged by either pro or anti abortion advocates to gin up votes and increase turnout.
Finally lots of d/prog voters especially older or more self identified religious voters ain’t listing abortion as their #1 issue. It isn’t an automatic win for d/prog among voters of their own base much less GoP voters.
Dobbs put all legislatures back in control, state and federal. Those who support abortion also need to worry about possible national legislation, which they can’t avoid simply by moving to a state where people like them are in control.
In theory yes that’s true. It is entirely accurate to point out that Dobbs returned the abortion debate back to the status quo pre Roe in which there was no large impetus/groundswell of support for Federal legislation on abortion.
Outside a few buffoons in the GoP, the same goobers who seek out other tar babies to leap upon like Sen Graham to burnish their ‘conservative’ credibility practically no one in any position of power is looking to impose Federal legislation.
That sort of top down idea to use the Congress to impose a Federal ‘solution’ is almost entirely within the d/prog. IMO it’s a fool’s errand. A large # of Red States have restricted or eliminated abortion while a large # of Blue States have removed practically all restrictions. Neither of those large groups of voters will be welcoming to Senators and Congressman who upturn their State legislation to impose a Federal solution of 15 weeks. IMO such a proposal will unite those folks in opposition to a Federal solution b/c neither group would benefit.
As a practical matter we really don’t have much to worry about on the Federal level re a Federal abortion bill so long as the d/prog don’t achieve complete control of HoR, Senate and Presidency.
Moving to a Red or Purple State from a Blue State transfers political power and economic power from the prior home to the new one. The less CD that one party d/prog dominated States such as CA or NY have and the more CD the Red States have which means more CD influenced at minimum by the culture of those States which are hostile v permissive to abortion.
Isn’t this a violation of California’s new law against malicious lies about campaigns?
No, it isn’t. Those three new laws (of dubious validity) apply only to deepfakes. If they had produced an audio or video clip of Trump purportedly announcing such a policy, that would violate these new CA laws. But simply claiming that he said it does not.
I hear Walz wants to personally monitor every trans surgery.
Kamala, Timmy the Gimp, and the Democrat party want to monitor every pregnancy. They just call it Medicare for all.

Now, Harris says Trump will imprison people in concentration camps. So, let’s see…. if Harris wins I can see ..”They meant the camps for us, let’s put Trump and his supporters in those camps….” Cue the FEMA camps.
So the Heritage Foundation wants Trump and the Republicans to order the CDC to “collect better data about abortion outcomes, and ensure that miscarriages are not being conflated with abortion.”
The Democrats have transformed this innocuous mandate into one or more of: “create this new government entity that will monitor all pregnancies to enforce their abortion bans”; “create a national anti-abortion coordinator, and force states to report on women’s miscarriages and abortions”; or “force every pregnant woman to submit to constant government monitoring”.
Put that way there is a simple explanation. Given a mandate like the one Heritage wants, that is how they would implement it. Therefore they imagine that’s how we would implement it too.
