Terrorist Kills Three Israelis at Jordan Border Crossing

Terrorist Kills Three Israelis at Jordan Border Crossing

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group hails the deadly attack as “heroic”

A terrorist on Sunday morning shot dead three Israelis at a key border crossing between Jordan and Israel’s Judea and Samaria region.

The gunman, who drove towards the border crossing from the Jordanian side, got out of his truck and started firing at Israeli civilians. The victims were identified as Israeli men in their 50s.

The terrorist was taken out by the Israeli troops manning the crossing, news reports suggest. “The terrorist was eliminated by the security forces, three Israeli civilians were pronounced dead as a result of the attack,” the Israeli military said in a statement. “IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene and are currently operating to rule out the suspicion of the truck being rigged with explosives,”

Reuters reported the terrorist attack:

A gunman from Jordan killed three Israeli civilians at the Allenby Bridge border crossing in the occupied West Bank before security forces shot him dead on Sunday, Israeli authorities said.

It was the first attack of its kind along the border with Jordan since Oct. 7, when Palestinian Islamist group Hamas carried out an assault on southern Israel, sparking the war in Gaza that has escalated throughout the region.

The attack took place in a commercial cargo area under Israeli control where Jordanian trucks offload cargo entering the West Bank, officials said. The crossing, also known as the King Hussein Bridge, lies about midway between Amman and Jerusalem just north of the Dead Sea.

The assailant was a 39-year-old truck driver who came from the influential Huwaitat tribe in southern Jordan, according to family members.

“A terrorist approached the area of the Allenby Bridge from Jordan in a truck, exited the truck, and opened fire at the Israeli security forces operating at the bridge,” the Israeli military said.

“The terrorist was eliminated by the security forces, three Israeli civilians were pronounced dead as a result of the attack.”

Sunday’s incident comes amid growing terrorist activities in the Palestinian Authority-controlled West Bank since October 7. Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Sunday urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to include the fight against terror in the West Bank as one of the aims of the ongoing Gaza war.

“The war we are in is not only against Gaza and Hezbollah, it is also in Judea and Samaria,” Ben Gvir said. “Just last week I asked the prime minister to also include victory in Judea and Samaria among the goals of the war. I will continue to fight for this to happen.”

Islamic Jihad terror group hails deadly attack as ‘heroic’

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group praised the deadly attack on the Jordanian border crossing. In a statement on Telegram, the Iran-backed jihadist group hailed the cowardly act as an “expression of the sentiments of the Jordanian people and the Arab and Muslim peoples towards” the state of Israel.

The attack was also a message to the Biden administration, currently pushing for ceasefire in Gaza, the terrorist group said. “This heroic attack and similar ones are the only response that the American administration understands,” the PIJ declared.

Hezbollah ramps up terror offensive, fires 50 rockets overnight

Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group intensified cross-border strikes on Israel, firing at least 50 rockets from its position in Lebanon.

The Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported:

Massive barrages targeted northern communities, the Israel Defense Forces said. About 50 rockets targeted the Kiryat Shmona area of the Upper Galilee region, with several interceptions made by the Iron Dome missile defense system. Rockets not intercepted by Israeli systems fell in open areas, with no casualties reported.

The Israel Air Force made several sorties against targets in southern Lebanon, including against Hezbollah in Aitaroun, Maroun El Ras, and Yaroun. The IDF said that it had also attacked operatives from Amal, another Shia Lebanese terrorist organization, who were operating out of Hezbollah infrastructure in Froun, southern Lebanon.

IDF hits Hamas terror targets in southern, central Gaza

The IDF is pushing ahead with its ground offensive in the Hamas southern stronghold of Rafah. “Operational activity continues in the Rafah area, where IDF troops eliminated terrorists, conducted targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure, and located large quantities of weapons in the area,” the Israeli military confirmed in a statement Sunday.

IDF ground troops were taking on the Hamas’ jihadist fighting force and the Israeli air force was hitting terror targets across Gaza. “IDF troops continue operational activity in the central Gaza Strip, where, over the past day, the troops eliminated several terrorists that posed a threat to the troops,” the military disclosed. “Over the past day, the IAF struck approximately 25 Hamas terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip, including terrorist cells, military structures, and terrorist infrastructure.”

The left: Attacking Hamas ends up being collective punishment for Palestinians.

Also the left: Killing Israeli civilians is acceptable collateral damage.

Unfortunately, every citizen of “Palestine” above the age of reason is a combatant. It’s tragic that the children are brainwashed by these evil Mohammedans, but it’s reality.

Has anybody thought about a deprogramming regimen for these unfortunate children?

Israel fights too timidly. They need to empty the entire Gaza Strip either by a massive population transfer or physical annihilation with fuel air bombs which create an over pressure over a wide area. We used fuel air bombs in Vietnam. The Allies engaged in massive population transfer of ethnic Germans from all over Europe after WWII. Some 16 million people where perhaps two million perished. The Arabs make no secret about what they intend to do to Jews if they can: a second Holocaust. The Babylonian Talmud states: If someone comes to kill you, kill him first.

    Oden,

I Certainly agree with your sentiment.
Israel cannot live with the Palestinians as neighbors.
Mass immigration to another location would be ideal.
Even forced expulsion would be a viable tactic.
However There is no country in the world, even the Arab ones, suicidal enough to allow the Palestinian people onto their territory.
Israel would have to invade whatever country will be the host, establish a beachhead, transport the Palestinians there, and then leave.
Imagine the uproar, if Israel invaded Jordan, or Saudi Arabia, or Iran, and transported millions of people there against the host nations will.

Now we are left with your other suggestion to kill them all.
It pains me to say this, but that is actually a good idea.
The Problem is that Israel’s position will be 1000 times worse after the real genocide of the Palestinian people.

Even in the United States, there would be revulsion to the mass killing of noncombatants.
If Israel loses the support of the United States in the UN, and as a military equipment supplier, that would be a huge problem for them.
If you think the BDS movement is a problem now, imagine after Israel dropped an atom bomb on millions of Palestinian human shields.
Israel is not completely self-sufficient and requires trade with other countries.
They Would be completely isolated, and no other countries would buy their exports

For years I have said do onto others as they would do onto you, FIRST. If they are reputable, you have potentially made a friend,

For every 1 of yours they kill, eliminate 10 of theirs.
If that doesn’t work, increase by an order of magnitude.

It’s the pragmatic approach.
