They had flares and smoke bombs as some assaulted cops who tried to halt the march.
They also carried Hezbollah, Iranian, Palestinian, and Syrian flags. I’m shocked no one brought a Hamas or ISIS flag.

Anyone who thinks this is about Islam is also myopic and naive. It isn’t about Islam at all, and the vast majority of these violent people are not Moslem. It’s antifa, whose goal is not Islam but neo-Marxism, which is classical Marxism but with race replacing class.
That was my thought. I doubt if many of these protesters could even find Israel on a map (heh even if the maps had the labels written in!). The conflict in the Middle East is centuries old; but these people are only just now getting around to being mad about it? Pfah.

Are there non-Muslim agitators, enablers and cheerleaders allied with, and, egging on the protests? To be sure.
But, it’s naive and myopic to deny that the animating ethos of many of the “protestors” — who are Muslim, by the way; what do you think all these Muslim student groups at universities are comprised of — is a full-throated, unabashed and obnoxious manifestation of Islamic supremacism and hostility towards non-Muslims — especially Jews — that lie at the heart of the Islamic ideology.
Admittedly, the radical Progressives are just using Islam as another tool in their bag for subduing Western Civilization. Because they think they can snatch it away from them right before victory. And the Muslims, ironically, see it exactly the same way.
And it’s exactly like Islam, in being a totalitarian religion. Hence, the lack of distinction between the keffiyeh and the black balaclava, except in pattern.
I love this. The big picture is that you need a situation that really turns people off and creates a big win for Trump. If the consequences of an open border are not enough, these protests might be.
