Karine Jean-Pierre: It’s Okay to Call Trump a ‘Threat’ Because … Jan. 6

Karine Jean-Pierre: It’s Okay to Call Trump a ‘Threat’ Because … Jan. 6

It seems to me that the real threat to “democracy” is the Democratic Party who long ago stopped trying to win elections on the issues.

The 2022 midterm elections should have been “an extinction-level event” for Democrats. The party’s epic abuse of power had greatly damaged the nation, and party leaders were well aware of it.

But just as despair set in, along came an extraordinary gift in the form of the Supreme Court’s June 2022 reversal of Roe v. Wade, a ruling that returned abortion law to the states. The landmark decision sparked fury among the Left, and the party capitalized on it to mitigate what would otherwise have been a crushing defeat in November.

But not wanting to risk it all on one issue, party leaders tapped into the ageless wisdom of the late communist Saul Alinsky. In his well-known book Rules for Radicals, he instructed followers to “accuse your opponent of what you are doing, to create confusion and to inculcate voters against evidence of your own guilt.”

Thus, a secondary issue was born: Republicans are undermining our democracy and pose the greatest existential threat to America’s future.

In June 2022, the message went out from on high, and within days, every liberal in the U.S. parroted it. Former President Bill Clinton told late-night host James Corden, “I actually think there’s a fair chance that we could completely lose our constitutional democracy for a couple of decades if we keep making — if we make bad decisions. … But I’ve never before been as worried about the structure of our democratic form of government.”

Days later, Hillary Clinton, perhaps the most corrupt woman in American politics, warned a Financial Times reporter, “We are standing on the precipice of losing our democracy.”

And on it went. This talking point quickly became the centerpiece of the Democratic Party’s deliberate, coordinated propaganda campaign.

Just one week after the midterms, Democrats’ worst fear was realized. Former President Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. It took about a nanosecond for Democrats to personalize the talking point that had worked so well for them during the midterms.

Donald Trump poses the greatest threat to our democracy.

Without evidence, every Democrat, from President Joe Biden on down, began to repeat this line at every opportunity as if it were a proven fact. The result? Half of the electorate now believes that Trump truly is a threat to democracy.

Following the second assassination attempt on Trump on Sunday, the Democrats launched a new talking point: It’s Trump’s fault. His incendiary rhetoric is to blame for the attempts on his life.

This was demonstrated by an exchange during Tuesday’s White House press briefing between Fox News’ Peter Doocy and press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Prior to Doocy’s question, another reporter had asked Jean-Pierre about how Trump “claimed without evidence that [President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’] rhetoric is causing him to be ‘shot at.’”

She replied, “President Biden has been clear-eyed about the threat that the former president represents to our democracy. He refused to accept the outcomes of free and fair elections [in 2020 and] 2,000 angry people went [to the US Capitol] to try to overturn a free and fair election.”

Her response prompted Doocy to ask, “How many more assassination attempts on Donald Trump until the President, the Vice President, and you pick a different word to describe Trump other than ‘threat?'”

As she typically does when she’s presented with the truth, Jean-Pierre went on offense. Following an audible sigh, she said, “Peter, if anything from this administration, I actually completely disagree with the premise of your question, the question that you’re asking. Uh, it is also incredibly dangerous in the way that you’re asking it.

“Uh, because American people are watching. And, to say that, to say that from an administration who has consistently condemned political violence, from an administration where the president called the former president and was thankful, grateful that he was okay, from an administration who has called out Jan. 6, called out the attack on Paul Pelosi, called out and said we need to lower the temperature after the Butler incident.

“And now for you to make that kind of comment in your question, because your question involved the comment and the statement, and, uh, that is also incredibly dangerous.”

It’s “incredibly dangerous” to call out the role of the Democrats’ relentless, fake, and deliberate propaganda campaign against Trump in the two assassination attempts? Is this really the best the White House can do?

Not sure that Americans will buy that?

For voters who aren’t sure, below are just some of the “receipts” of the Democrats’ handiwork.

It seems to me that the real threat to “democracy” is the Democratic Party, which long ago stopped trying to win elections on the issues.

If that mop headed black lesbian didn’t tick so many boxes she would have been fired a couple of years ago.

I’ve called this administration “the Token Administration” since the beginning. And if anything, it’s only gotten worse.

I don’t know any men whose vote in 2022 considered abortion. There is no more fierce advocate of abortion than a fat, frumpy, ugly, post-menopausal shrew.

I know over 50 million men voters in 2022 who considered abortion in their votes. Just because you are a man, doesn’t mean you don’t care about the birth of your unborn child.

.001 of 50 million is 50,000. Since you know them all, names please.

Speaking for people you don’t know is the act of a blowhard.

You obviously flunked grade school math. i feel really sorry for you.

I thin JR’s post is not accurate as abortion was not the main driver for 50 million men whom I assume are roughly 1/2 the people, actually 40 million, who voted for Dems in the 2020 election as that many didn’t vote in the mid terms but I don’t get your .001 and 50,000 remark? Math is right but ?

Indeed. I’m one of them. It’s high time ti stop letting women hold the issue of them wanting to murder unborn babies over mens’ heads.

I had to laugh when I read your comment. I remember watching some of the protestors on the news and my husband and I were saying the same thing!

There are ultra-reliable reports today that if Trump isn’t elected he will order his supporters to fire on Ft. Sumter.

“It’s dangerous for you to question our incitement. Something might happen to you.”

Every hoax is proven by another hoax. It’s a huge ring.

Dumb and Dumber called. They want the outfit back.

That is not what happened in 2022. Mail-in ballots and drop-off boxes are what happened in 2022, just as they happened in 2020. No one gave a damn about Roe in the federal elections and that was just what people made up afterwards to explain the odd win by the dems – the second “odd” win by dems while we were seeing a tsunami of disembodied ballots show up all over the place.

The Jan 6 lie that the dems (and treasonous RINOs) are constantly spouting – that no one believes, outside of a handful of the dems’ dumbest supporters – goes unchallenged far too often. Just the idea that there was any sort of insurrection is laughable. The insurrection attempts that really did occur were the lunatic riots and arson fests, where the dems taking part made clear that they were attempting an insurrection (trying to destroy everything American and any symbol of Americanism they could think of). Those were actual insurrection attempts.

As to Karine Jean-Pierre, she’s a low IQ dipsh*t who has been making a mockery of the position of press secretary.

If it weren’t for the fact that she’s a black female carpet muncher in an age when a dimwitted demented president selected her because of her many “firsts” she would still be an ugly nobody.

And when this sad state of affairs called Cumalot is over, she will go back to being just another finger in the dyke.

    From January 2021:
If the purpose of a body of people is the restoration of constitutional principles, the preservation of the Republic, and support for a government that respects the law, then that body is not involved in an insurrection and nothing it does is seditious. In this country, sedition and insurrection are not acts against an individual, those in power, or a particular political party. Nor are they acts against de facto governments. Sedition and insurrection are acts against lawful governments and in opposition to rule by the Constitution.

I’m going to need reporters to start answering “but Jan 6” with but “Code Pink”, “Occupy Wall Street”, BLM, Seattle, and “Anti-Semitic Campus Protests”….. all of which were much bigger direct threats to American citizens

Got it, KJP says it’s fine when the d/prog stoke political tensions with inflammatory rhetoric and over the top distortions to gain and hold political power. Implied is that when then they do it it’s just (d)ifferent and obviously only ignorant folks full of ists and isms wouldn’t understand that clear distinction.

Her statements were abominable, particularly her sanctimony and dishonesty.

That lesbo lying twat spews nothing but hate and lies.

Seems to me when she chickened out it was all we need to demand change

20 million aborted fetus might have a different thought

She played the standard Democrat trump card — when caught out at their depredations, they whine and play the victim.

She actually put Doocy (and, by extension, all journalists) on notice that if they don’t toe the Dem narrative’s line (and stop asking questions to which the administration can’t respond) they’ll be labeled “threats to our democracy” next.

Ok, let me see if I get this right. KJP gets called to task for using hate speech to target the regime’s political enemies, and in response she says “…it is also incredibly dangerous in the way that you’re asking it.”

That sounds a lot like “Hey, you nutjobs out there. Add him to your list.”

Hoping Trump wins so I’ll no longer see that toilet brush spewing her crap.

Didn’t the Dems tell us that Biden was the only one who could defeat Trump in 2024? I hope Trump has ads with videos of Dems saying that.

It’s crucial to realize when TPTB talk of “democracy,” they emphatically do NOT mean “will of the people,” as most would think. They mean “democratic institutions” such as Congress, the media, public schools, etc – anything that is set up to perpetuate the current governmental/political system (which is decidedly not “of the people, by the people, for the people.”) That’s why they hate Trump so much, and why they hate us with equal venom – we’re supposed to shut up and listen to “them,” because they’re so much smarter than us and we will not “choose wisely” (i.e. how they want us to choose) if left to our own devices.

That is how they can spew “Trump is a threat to [our] democracy” with a straight face: because he is a threat to their reimagination of democracy.

Trump’s recent interview with Mike Benz makes this exact point:

Mike Benz [00:40:21] So they they had this sort of crisis of, well, what do we do about it? Democracy is the problem, they say. And then they said, well, the problem is our entire diplomatic toolkit. Everything that the CIA does, everything the State Department does, everything USA does, everything that the Pentagon civil, Civil Affairs does is all under this rubric of promoting democracy… But here’s how they rescued democracy. They said, we can’t, okay, we need to stick with democracy even though we don’t like its outcomes because we we it would take too long to turn the Titanic. All of our oil, all of our cloak and dagger, black ops or black ops, you know, plausibly deniable toppling of governments worldwide, all in the name of democracy. All the NGOs we fund, all the civil society activists, all the media institutions. It’s all democracy, democracy, democracy. So we need to simply instead of getting rid of this concept of champion democracy, we need to redefine what democracy is. And we need to make it not about the consensus of individuals, how people vote, but make it about the consensus of institutions. And we will simply define democratic institutions as anyone who supports the US foreign policy establishment and its transatlantic partners in the UK… And this clever rhetorical sleight of hand allows unspeakable powers that. Americans have no idea about. I’ll give you one example. So I said it’s all about institutions now. And you know, if you want to watch a funny clip, I posted this on my X account recently. You know, the Berggruen Institute, where Reid Hoffman is a board member and they were involved in this whole transition integrity project, domestic color revolution blueprint for stopping Trump from getting, from being installed as president, even if he won the Electoral College and they contemplated using Black Lives Matter street muscle. And the whole thing was run by a senior Pentagon official with a CIA blue badge. And they have, you know, that conference in 2019, the title of it was How Elections, How Elections Erode the Democratic Process, how elections are a Threat to democracy. And because they were moving to this concept that it that that the blobs control over the political and commercial ecosystem of a country cannot be left to the people. If we define democracy to be about democratic institutions, then the popular will of the people can still be categorized as a threat to democracy, which would still, therefore still allow the funding of the billions of dollars worldwide that we have deployed as capital for this.

These people are insane, evil, or both.
