Joe Biden Rewrites Story of His Exit From 2024 Race in United Nations Speech

“I decided, after 50 years of public service, it’s time for a new generation of leadership to take my nation forward.”

Joe Biden gave his final address at the United Nations on Tuesday and rewrote some recent history. In his remarks, Biden suggested that he voluntarily dropped out of the 2024 race, saying, “I decided, after 50 years of public service, it’s time for a new generation of leadership to take my nation forward.”

That is completely false.

Joe Biden was forced out of the 2024 race by the Democratic party’s power brokers and major donors.

From the White House transcript:

“We the People.” These are the first words of our Constitution, the very idea of America. And they inspired the opening words of the U.N. Charter.

I’ve made the preservation of democracy the central cause of my presidency.

This summer, I faced a decision whether to seek a second term as president. It was a difficult decision. Being president has been the honor of my life. There is so much more I want to get done. But as much as I love the job, I love my country more. I decided, after 50 years of public service, it’s time for a new generation of leadership to take my nation forward.

My fellow leaders, let us never forget, some things are more important than staying in power. It’s your people — (applause) — it’s your people that matter the most.

Here’s the clip:

Biden also defended his administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, which cratered his approval rating in 2021.

FOX News reports:

Biden reflected on the global order when he was first elected as a U.S. senator in 1972, saying the world was at “an inflection point” and a “moment of tension and uncertainty.”

“The world was divided by the Cold War; the Middle East was headed toward war; America was at war in Vietnam at that point — the longest war in America’s history,” Biden said. “Our country was divided and angry, and there were questions about our staying power and our future. But even then, I entered public life not out of despair, but out of optimism.”

Biden said when he was elected president, the world was in “another moment of crisis and uncertainty,” referring to the ongoing U.S. presence in Afghanistan…

Biden said he needed to put the United States “in a position to see the threats, to deal with the challenges, and to seize the opportunities as well.”

“We needed to end the war that began on 9/11,” Biden said. “I came to office as president, with Afghanistan to replace Vietnam as America’s longest war.”

“I was determined to end it,” he said. “And I did.”

Biden said it was a “hard decision but the right decision.”

Dana Perino of The Five on FOX News reacted to Biden’s claims about voluntarily leaving the 2024 race by calling out the lie.

Trump is fact-checked constantly by the media. Joe Biden is allowed to lie whenever he pleases.

thanks joe for your many many years of serving the needs of the politburo

He’s lied constantly for his entire adult life. Why stop now?

He’s always claimed a multitude of achievements, yet when fact-checking happens they all turned out to be lies. Honest historians will hopefully write the story of a disaster of his political and personal life.

I got a laugh when he said he was stepping down for ‘the next Generation.’ Kamala Harris is the sitting Vice President and an almost 60-year old Boomer. The only non-Boomer on this year’s ballot is JD Vance….a MILLENNIAL, unbelievably (that makes you feel old, doesn’t it?).

I think there has only ever been one Gen-Xer on a major-party ballot, the very forgettable Paul Ryan. Walz and Harris are the only major-party nominees to have been born in the 1960s, which is….weird, when you think about it.

Good riddance you lying empty suit!

I don’t think he’s made a single speech in the last ten years that has not contained at least one easily provable lie.

Unknown to the general public, Biden’s handlers left him alone with Corn Pop on the night he withdrew his candidacy.

“Joe Biden Rewrites…”

Biden neither writes nor rewrites. At this particular point in time he is incapable of all but basic functions. He can barely walk and talk. He can read a little off the telepromter.

So what is going on? The essence of the story is:

“Joe Biden’s handlers tie up loose ends and touch up his portrayal for insertion into the history books.”

FJB.

Install a Republican president, who’ll announce that the DOJ is going to conduct a top-to-bottom review and report regarding the Biden crime family’s decades-long foreign influence-peddling and racketeering extortion schemes, for the sake of total transparency and public knowledge, but, that, in the interest of national comity, the U.S. Attorney-General will be directed not to pursue criminal charges arising out of information accumulated in the report.

“You didn’t choose to leave. You were forced out!”

1,000% correct.

He was busy running for president when he got an emergency call from his old friend Rubber Duckie, who needed him to lead a convoy across the Donbass to thwart his old nemesis, Smokey Putin. It was a brotherhood thing, he couldn’t say no.

Do we detect a little bit of hard feelings against the man that ended his political career decisively?

Won’t this grifting retard ever just shut the fu*k up? Everyone knows he’s not, nor has he ever been, in charge. The last thing this dolt was in charge of was Corn Pop’s corn-dog out behind the pool house. What a punk.

I wish that some legit website would do an in depth story on Beau Biden , as DE AG, signing off on probation for one of his family’s patrons (DuPont) for diddling his 2 year old daughter.

do you have the balls, LI ??

Biden’s speech seems to be more about himself, or rather how he wants people to view himself, than about advancing American foreign policy interests. His world view that all political actors in conflicts will listen to reason has failed to provide a viable basis that would enable his foreign policy to be effective. Instead it is become increasingly obvious that the Biden administration’s foreign policy agents (Blinken, Sullivan, Harris) are ignored by all sides. The Biden/Harris administration has racked up an impressive list of foreign policy failures: Ukraine/Russia, Israel/Hamas, Israel/Hezbollah, Israel/Iran, Sudan civil war, Houthis unfettered control of Red Sea shipping, Iran and the attempt at a nuclear agreement, Taliban chasing US out of Afghanistan, ISIS spreading in Africa, failure of Saudi Arabia to follow the Abraham accords, and the reality mugging of the Paris climate accords. Four more years of this anyone?
