Israel Eliminates Several More Hamas Terror Leaders, Some Hiding in Gaza ‘Humanitarian Zone’

The IDF used “precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence” to minimize civilian casualties as Hamas terror commanders hid in the Khan Yunis humanitarian area.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted three senior Hamas commanders in an overnight airstrike in southern Gaza.

All three terror commanders, hiding in a Hamas base in the Khan Yunis area, were involved in the October 7 massacre, the Israeli military sources noted. The IDF did not immediately confirm if the targeted terrorists were killed in the strike.

“IDF airstrikes overnight targeted major Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip,” the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported Tuesday morning. “The terrorists were named as Samer Ismail Khadr Abu Daqqa, the head of Hamas’s aerial unit; Osama Tabesh, who commanded the observation and targets department in the group’s military intelligence headquarters; and Ayman Mabhouh, another senior Hamas terrorist.”

The Israeli news website YNET reported the details of the overnight airstrike:

Israeli fighter jets struck “significant” Hamas operatives in a command and control center embedded within the humanitarian zone in the Gaza Strip’s Khan Younis, the IDF said early Tuesday. According to Palestinian sources, the airstrike killed at least 40 people and wounded 60 others.

The army said that the strike, which was directed by intelligence from the Shin Bet security agency, Military Intelligence and the Southern Command, targeted senior Hamas operatives in Gaza, including Samer Abu Daqqa, head of Hamas’ aerial unit in the Gaza Strip; Osama Tabesh, chief of the terror group’s surveillance and targeting division within its military intelligence, and Ayman Mabhouh. Qatar-based Al Jazeera reported that all three were killed.

“The operatives were involved in planning and executing terror attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians,” the IDF said, pushing back on claims of a high civilian casualty count in the attack and claiming “Hamas’ media office in Gaza has been caught lying several times before.” The military noted that extensive measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions and real-time aerial surveillance.

The Hamas commanders operated out of a humanitarian zone located in southern Gaza. Israeli armed forces undertook several measures, such as the “use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence,” in an effort to minimize civilian casualties, the IDF assured.

Israeli jets “struck terrorists who were operating within a Hamas command and control center embedded in a structure that previously served as the ‘Al Farouq’ Mosque in the area of Bureij in the Gaza Strip,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a press statement Tuesday morning. “The command and control center was used by Hamas terrorists to plan and conduct terrorist activities against IDF troops and the State of Israel,” the military added.

Mahmoud Hamdan, October 7 planner,  killed in recent Israeli drone strike

The IDF on Tuesday also confirmed the elimination of Hamas terror commander Mahmoud Hamdan, who was involved in the planning of the October 7 attack. The terrorist mastermind was killed in a drone strike last month.

“Mahmoud Hamdan, the commander of the Tel al-Sultan Battalion, played a significant role in planning the invasion into Israel on October 7th and advanced the Rafah Brigade’s plans prior to the entry of IDF troops into the area,” the IDF said in a statement Tuesday. “Additionally, he initiated, led, and planned dozens of terrorist operations against IDF troops and the State of Israel.”

The Times of Israel reported:

The commander of Hamas’s Tel Sultan Battalion in the terror group’s Rafah Brigade was killed in an Israeli drone strike several weeks ago.

Mahmoud Hamdan was killed alongside three company commanders in the Tel Sultan Battalion, according to the IDF.

The military says that additional strikes killed several more top commanders in the battalion, along with dozens of operatives.

The IDF says Hamdan took a “significant part” in planning the October 7 onslaught, and was involved in other attacks amid the ongoing war.

Lebanon: Israeli airstrike eliminates commander of Hezbollah’s terrorist Radwan Force

Israeli Air Forces (IDF) on Tuesday also eliminated the commander of Hezbollah’s elite terrorist Radwan Force in an airstrike in southern Lebanon.

“The IAF struck and eliminated the terrorist Mohammad Qassem Al-Sha’a in the area of Qaraoun, who served as a Hezbollah Radwan Force commander,” the Israeli military disclosed Tuesday,

“Al-Sha’a advanced numerous terrorist activities against the State of Israel. This elimination further impairs the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s ability to promote and conduct terrorist activities from southern Lebanon against the Israeli Homefront on the northern border,” the IDF statement said.

And it doesn’t really matter if it was accidental or not. She was embedded in a group throwing stones at Israeli soldiers. That’s cause to fire back. Any injuries or deaths resulting from that are the responsibility of those attacking the Israeli soldiers – particularly when you’re actually at war with them.

And, the Palis gave her a military funeral.

(And I’ll just mention again, I don’t think America ought to allow dual citizenship – with ANY nation. Period. If you don’t want to give up being Turkish or whatever, then don’t become an American.)

She should have stayed away from violent demonstrations against the IDF. FAFO.

Despite the outrage in the streets of Israel and America, much of which is sponsored by the usual anti-Israel culprits, most Israelis and Americans want this to continue, until there is no threat and the perpetrators meet justice.

If Hamas really cared about civilians it wouldn’t locate command and control centers in humanitarian zones.

and claiming “Hamas’ media office in Gaza has been caught lying several times before.”
“Claiming” is doing a lot of lifting there. It’s not a claim that Hamas lies about casualties, it’s merely fact.

Oh I thought this was about them doing something in amreica

Blinken: “No one should be shot and killed for attending a protest. No one should have to put their life at risk just for freely expressing their views,”

Unless your name is Ashli Babbitt– unarmed and murdered by a DC cop for a mere trespass. Sometimes I’m ashamed of some members of my tribe. What is the matter with Blinken and his ilk? I hope that one day justice will be done, and Blinken along with many others will get a fair trial (something they deny to others). No matter how many terrorists the IDF kills there are always more. Hard to deal with fanatics who think they will enter paradise, and are not afraid to be killed. However most everyone is afraid of something, In the case of Muslims, it’s mutilation of their sexual organs. Then they don’t go to paradise. Thats why Abdul Hakim Ali Hashim Murad (of the Bojinka plot) broke when he thought the was going to get sent to Israel. The Philippine police tortured him so brutally that they didn’t expect him to survive. Clearly he was not afraid to die. Yet he broke because he knew the Mossad knows what scares the Muslims. Ditto for the KGB who who got their kidnapped Soviet ambassadors back when they sent a dead kidnapper with his balls sewed into his mouth to relatives. I tried to discuss this theory with a member of the USA State Department in a secure facility. This person got very upset and ran away. The USA State Department has been pro Arab and anti-Israel for many decades. They are very protective of their Arab benefactors as we can see with Blinken.

And, in actuality, you should be shot for attending a violent attack on the IDF. If someone is expressing their views through violent, deadly attacks on soldiers (or law enforcement), then they should be shot. If you are part of a mob, “group punishment” is actually just.

But Blinken is a progressive. They believe stupidity like “Violence never solved anything” and “Those ‘oppressed’ we support can commit violence and we will ignore reality and call it ‘speech’.”

Blinken and his ilk don’t really believe that violence doesn’t solve anything.

They believe in never let a crisis go to waste…which is why we get lies like mostly peaceful protests and deadly insurrections out of both sides of their mouths.

Blinken is a child. He is to International Affairs what Tori Spelling was to TV shows when she debuted in 90210.

[If you’re too young to remember, Tori’s dad was the very-successful creator of that show, and he offered her the choice to learn the business behind the camera or to go for the glamour and stardom in front of the camera. She chose the latter, and it was obvious early on that she just did not have it, that she was in over her head.
Similarly, Blinken’s daddy got him his job, and he obviously doesn’t have it, he’s in over his head.]

Actually, Antony Blinken is a lot like Peter Sellers as Inspector Clousea in the Pink Panther films ….. constantly making every situation that he walks into he makes it promptly worse. And just as constantly, he remains completely oblivious to his role in making every situation worse, he makes every situation that he’s involved in ….. worse.

Heaven help us all.
