Harris Spox Can’t Answer if Americans Are Better Off Now Than 4 Years Ago

Harris Spox Can’t Answer if Americans Are Better Off Now Than 4 Years Ago

You think Harris has word salads…she has nothing on this dude. Sheesh.

Uh, VP Kamala Harris, you need to fire Ian Sams because he is a horrible spokesperson.

Also, all of you owe me a drink because I listened to this guy ramble on about literally nothing for six minutes and now I have a headache.

I transcribed it for you guys so you don’t have to listen to him.

CNN’s Pamela Brown tried to get Sams to answer if Americans are better off now than they were four years ago.

Sams could not answer because we are most definitely not better off:

Pamela Brown: When you look at a metric like grocery prices, they’re up still 20% compared to four years ago. And Harris was asked recently on the debate stage whether she thinks Americans are better off now than four years ago, and she didn’t directly answer that question. So I’ll ask you, does she think Americans are better off now or not?

Ian Sams: Well, I think that she talked pretty openly about the mess that we inherited when President Trump left office and the economy, and the crash that happened because of his total mismanagement of Covid, and the way that Covid itself created global inflation numbers that were out of control. And so she thinks that the American people have made progress, but that we have to go even further. That’s why she has a plan specifically to take on corporate price gouging when they jack up prices in emergencies like that, especially on things like food and at the grocery store. And at the same time you nobel Prize winning economists who have come out and said that Donald Trump economics plan would actually blow up inflation and make it worse.

And when it comes up for high prices for people the choice in the elction is also very clear and she’s going to keep talking about her plans to bring down those grocery costs while Donald Trump is going to explode them.

Pamela Brown: But let me just follow up, then, on that because you said her plan to bring down grocery costs. As you know, Republicans would argue, well they’ve gone up under the Biden-Harris Administration. I’ll ask the question again … does she think Americans are better off now than four years ago?

Sams: Well I think when people are running for president they want to see what are you going to do for me and it’s not a retrospective question and it’s actually a forward looking question. And that’s what she’s doing on the campaign trail every day, saying I understand that we have to go further for people. There’s still too many people out there who are hurting. Yes inflation has eased a little bit and prices are starting to come down but man we’ve gotta go even further. And when you look at the choices on the ballot in November it’s either me or it’s Donald Trump. And my plan is actually to take on these things and to work for you and to try to help you to bring those costs down where as Donald Trump is pushing the same old trickle down agenda that’s going to help those people at the very top and billionaires while jacking up prices on everybody else including a nearly $4,000 a year increase on taxes for the middle class and so that’s not going to help bring people’s costs down and so when you look at the future, not the past, but the future, and what these two candidates will do if they get elected, she’s focused on making sure people’s lives continue to get better and don’t go backwards like they would with Donald Trump.

Brown: So, just let me follow up with you, I hear what you’re saying, to focus on the future and not the past, and when you look at this latest poll, and again, I know people have their views of the polls, but this is an incredible New York Times/Siena College poll…they actually asked voters about policies from both Trump and Harris that they think could impact them in the future. And 45% of the voters say Trump’s policies would actually help people like them versus just 37% for Harris. That’s looking at the future, not just the past here. What do you say to that, Ian?

Sams: Well, there’s been some Quinniepec polls that over the last few days that suggest a different picture of the country as people thinking her economic or immigration or reproductive freedom plans would help them more. You know, the polls are gonna kind of shift around a little bit. I think what we’re seeing consistently in this election is that when voters start to hear the choice between the two candidates, whether that’s on the debate stage, and you know, Vice President Harris is very excited to accept CNN’s invitation to debate on October 23. Donald Trump continues to come up with excuses why he won’t participate, most recently, that it’s too late, even though it’s the day after the one he participated in in 2020 and in fact in 2020, on October 23, the exact date of CNN’s proposed debate this year, he was asked in the Oval Office would you do another debate and he said yeah. But suddenly it’s too late for him. We need those debates so people can see the choice on the economy, on immigration, on foreign policy, on all the issues that are so important to the American people. We need that debate so they can hear one last time from these two candidates. One general election debate between Vice President Harris and Donald Trump isn’t enough and you know Donald Trump’s team is indicating just this week in the Washington Post, he’s still thinking about it. Kellyanne Conway allegedly been pushing him to do it.

I didn’t double check my transcription because I don’t want to listen to him again.

No answers. None. Didn’t even detail any “plan” Harris has because she doesn’t have one.

This hyper caffeinated fount of verbal diarrhea was most recently heard as pinch-hitter for Karina Jean-Pierre. We should be paid by the minute for hearing his voice

Well, just READING this hurt my brain. I’m certainly grateful I didn’t listen to it.

Ian Sams is a spokeshole with no ethics, logic, or morals

If we had an electorate that was able to weigh the future beyond their next bong hit, Kamala would already be chasing ambulances.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I can say with certainty that my family is definitely not better off now than we were four years ago.

Oh, they could answer, but to keep their job they would have to lie through their teeth and say things that would make people laugh at them.

And talking about Trump mismanaging Covid is rich, considering the Dems, Faucy, and their entrenched government stooges did everything within their power to oppose any policy or suggested policy that he mentioned – and stiffled anyone who might agree with his approach.

At the onset, the experts were assuming that if nothing were done, 2 to 2.5 million Americans would die from Covid! about 500k died so we can logically assumed that Trump saved around 2 million Americans with his quick decisive actions

Any sentient being who pays bills and buys groceries and gas can easily answer the question in one word.
Sams sure does have that metrosexual “punchable face” thing going for him, though.

Im surprised he could even talk with all that horse jizz he was swirling

It’s not that they can’t answer it, it’s that they don’t want to. Because they know the answer and they don’t want to admit that no, people are much less well off.

Sams is fundamentally dishonest.

They should go after Seniors dependent on a fixed income. In the last 4 years SS has gone up about 12% while inflation has been about 40%. So basically that entire class of Seniors is far worse off under Biden and that will be true if under Harris. I sit in the geezer section on the bus and I try ti interject this into conversations all the time. I don’t think seniors give a rats behind about abortion. Eating is a big thing with them.

Took him 6 minutes to say no 🙄😡🤬😂

Thank you for taking one for the team, Mary. That was a rough one!

This explains a lot … Harris has an IQ of 78

Actually, I was impressed with CNN for pressing him three times to answer that question. That’s more than I would expect from the legacy networks.
