Former NYC Health ‘Expert” Admits Attending Sex Parties During Covid Pandemic

If only some “experts” had read Legal Insurrection and my reasons for ending the senseless pandemic restrictions, perhaps they could have had their sex parties and retained their jobs.

For example, Dr. Jay Varma served as the senior advisor for public health in New York City and as the COVID czar under Mayor Bill de Blasio. Varma imposed restrictions on public outings, gatherings, and personal behaviorsOne-half million residents fled the city in the wake of the lockdown rules, which completely failed to halt the pandemic.

Now a secret video has been released showing Varma admitting that he ignored these covid policies to attend sex parties.

A spokesman for Varma told CBS News New York that while he held the city post, he and his wife held two sex parties in a hotel with friends – one in August 2020, the other in November 2020.The spokesman also said his client participated in a dance party with about 200 people underneath a Wall Street bank in June 2021. At that time, he had left full-time city service and was working as a consultant. In the video, Varma also bragged about helping to put in place mandatory vaccination rules that prevented Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving from playing basketball after he refused to get the shot.

Varma was fired from his current job after confirming the reports about the video.

Varma has been let go as executive vice president and chief medical officer at SIGA Technologies. The news of his dismissal was revealed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Monday.Last week, Varma admitted to attending the parties after being caught on hidden camera video talking about it. They took place at a time when Varma was telling New Yorkers to stay away from others to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Varma was filmed several times by the MugClub, a show hosted by Steven Crowder, a conservative talk show host who is also the face of Louder With Crowder. The NYC Council is slated to hold a press conference soon after the video’s release.

This development troubles me for two reasons. Many scientists were calling for the end of lockdowns and restrictions that clearly were not working, and “Experts” like Varma colluded to silence or shadow-ban them.

The elite media and the same public health professionals ask us to forget the experience.

The experts can fully embrace their regrets, but we must not allow them to exercise that type of power again under any circumstance.

The second reason is no less important. Varma was recently giving the media talking points on how to “spin” monkeypox to the media, specifically to promote a drug.

The comments were revealed in a highly edited trailer for part two of a series of secretly recorded conversations with a so-called undercover operative from conservative podcaster Steven Crowder’s “Mug Club.”…In the latest video, Varma — who previously served as senior health adviser to then-Mayor Bill de Blasio and was tasked with running the Big Apple’s pandemic response — described the Food and Drug Administration approval process while discussing SIGA Technologies’ “tecovirimat,” or “TPOXX” drug.“That’s why spinning it in the media is helpful. We want the FDA to approve our drugs, specifically for monkeypox, and right now it’s only considered experimental and they won’t approve it,” he said.In the US, TPOXX is not approved by the FDA for the treatment of Mpox but can be used to treat patients as part of a clinical trial known as the Study of Tecovirimat for Human Mpox Virus (STOMP), according to SIGA Technologies. The company’s website added that the STOMP trial is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy of TPOXX for the treatment of Mpox.

We should be grateful for the free-speech friendly X and independent media digging into what these “experts” are doing and saying. It is clear the traditional media has no interest in doing so.
