The Democrats and media immediately called out former President Donald Trump and the right’s supposed dangerous rhetoric after he faced a second attempt on his life.
Well, if you’re going to blame rhetoric, let’s look at the other side since the media won’t do its job.
November 2023: Rep. Daniel Goldman said Trump “has to be eliminated.”
“It is just unquestionable at this point that that man cannot see public office again. He is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy, and he has to be, he has to be eliminated.”
Goldman later apologized for his remarks.
September 15, 2024: Rep. Jasmine Crockett says Trump “stokes” domestic terrorism and MAGA is a threat to America:
CROCKETT: “This can’t be the guy that is supposed to protect us when it comes to people that are coming out against us. This is the same guy that couldn’t say on that debate stage that he wanted Ukraine to win. He could not do that. This guy doesn’t understand who our friends are and he also doesn’t understand who we are as a nation, which we are a country of immigrants. The demonization of any group of people, whether it’s black folk and saying, ‘You know what? We need to go out and make sure that officers have immunity to just go ahead and kill them criminally,’ or whether we’re talking about those that he says, ‘All of the Hispanics that are coming in, they will rape your children.’ Listen, the problem isn’t the people coming in. The problem is this guy and his people here that are doing the bomb threats throughout our country. Domestic terrorism is a real thing and he is the guy that stokes it.”

CROCKETT: “Yes, Springfield is going through hell, but they are going through hell because the guy who says he wants to be the commander-in-chief is actually bringing that hell to their footsteps. He decided amplify a lie on a national debate stage, and that is harming American citizens. That is a problem. When I talk about MAGA, I talk about the fact that when we swore in, finally, in January, that we swore to defend against those that are coming against us, whether they are domestic or international. Right now, I feel like MAGA in general, they are threats to us domestically. And we sit time and time again. And I think that’s why you see so many national leaders, whether they’re Republicans or Democrats, coming together to say, there is only one person qualified to be the commander-in-chief, and that is Kamala Harris.”
July 28, 2024: Tim Walz calls Trump a “threat to democracy.”
These guys are just weird. That’s what they are. So it isn’t much else. Don’t give them the power. Loook, are they a threat to democracy? Yes. Are they going to take our rights away? Yes. Are they going to put people’s lives in danger? Yes. Are they going to endanger the planet by not dealing with climate change? Yes. They’re going to do all of that.
How many times has Kamala Harris called Trump a dictator?
“Threat to democracy” is their favorite talking point.
