Did Springfield, OH, Man Call Police About Haitian Migrants Hunting Local Park’s Geese?

“Journalists” recently said there were no such police reports. Furthermore, our national press is being remarkably silent about migrants butchering cats and bald eagles, as well as conducting animal sacrifices.

The American press just served up another heaping pile of disinformation on a silver platter.

Legal Insurrection readers will recall that I recounted how the press promptly dismissed claims made during a Springfield, Ohio, town council about Haitian migrants hunting geese in local parks. The reports responded to a cascade of Trump-supporting memes filled with images of ducks, cats, and digs at the Democrats that appeared in social media connected to the story.

The main reason “journalists” discounted the reports: “Reporters” said there were no police reports.

However, that turned out to be misinformation.

A Springfield, Ohio, resident on his way to work called 911 to report spotting four Haitian migrants snatching geese near a city park just two weeks ago, according to a newly revealed recording.

The call to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher, obtained by the Federalist, appears to support a viral claim about some members of the migrant community eating animals in city parks.

Former President Donald Trump blasted the story into the mainstream Tuesday night when he claimed migrants in Springfield were “eating the dogs.”

Tristan Justice of The Federalist managed to track down a report and offered additional details showing he worked the beat…like a proper journalist:

The caller says he spotted the Haitians carrying the geese at an intersection between Water and Warder Street, a location that does exist in Springfield and is confirmed in the police report later filed about the incident.

…Testimonies from Springfield residents at a recent city commission meeting record neighbors reporting shocking details of migrant behavior, from outright harassment to allegedly gruesome executions of local wildlife in public spaces.

“These Haitians are running into trash cans. They’re running into buildings. They’re flipping cars in the middle of the street, and I don’t know how like, y’all can be comfortable with this,” a resident named Anthony Harris complained to city officials last month. “They’re in the park, grabbing up ducks by the neck and cutting their heads off and eating them.”

I would also like to note that reports of cats being taken for slaughter in Springfield seem…genuine.

But migrants butchering our parkland animals and pets isn’t just confined to Ohio. Two Guatemalans were convicted for slaughtering our national bird, the bald eagle.

A second man has been arrested in the killing of a bald eagle last year in northeast Nebraska.

Ramiro Hernandez Tziquin, a Guatemalan native, was found last month hiding from authorities using a fake identity, the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

He has since entered a guilty plea in federal court, and a sentencing for violating the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act is scheduled for October.

The sheriff’s office said Hernandez Tziquin and Domingo Zetino Hernandez shot and killed a bald eagle at the Wood Duck State Wildlife Management Area on Feb. 28, 2023.

Deputies found the dead bald eagle in the trunk of their vehicle, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The men told deputies they planned to cook and eat the bird, the sheriff’s office said.

In New York, animal sacrifices are on the rise as evidence of ritual killings is strewn throughout Queens.

Animal sacrifices are surging in Queens, with chickens, pigs and rats being tortured, mutilated or killed in “twisted” religious rituals in parkland surrounding Jamaica Bay, The Post has learned.

In a little over a month, at least nine wounded animals or carcasses have been discovered in the federally-managed Spring Creek Park in Howard Beach and the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Broad Channel — including five live pigs with partially severed ears.

Creatures recovered from the revolting scene also include a near-dead baby rat tied up in a bag with chicken bones; a freshly-decapitated chicken head; a live hen in distress; and a dead dog with its neck snapped.

Of course, it could be worse. Then again, if Harris’ broken border policies persist, we may be next on the menu.

(What would Sully do)

Most towns are trying to get rid of non-migratory Canada geese, because they leave droppings all over everything. They’re not allowed to kill them under Federal law which protects geese which do migrate under the same umbrella.

So, not exactly a horror, Haitians are doing people a favor with the geese.

I’d definitely be in favor of changing this law — perhaps now is the moment to do it?

They are a menace in quite a number of areas with some localities resorting to killing them much like excess whitetail deer. The difference is geese are covered by Federal law as migratory birds.

Some places hire border collies to run after the geese and scare them away.
Now, the Haitians can scare the geese away. (And eat the collies.)

Regardless, actual citizens are required to have a hunting license to take almost any type of wild game. Wild animals are considered a “public property” (fish are actively managed in many states), so one can’t just take geese from a public park.

And no, state and local governments are not prohibited from killing nuisance game birds. Federal laws that protect migrating birds (such as ducks and geese) allow for their hunting (in season), so it’s obvious the law doesn’t constitute a blanket ban on the killing of migrating birds. Generally, the laws exist to prevent commercial harvesting (which drove the passenger pigeon to extinction) of migrating birds or their wanton killing.

    From https://wdfw.wa.gov/species-habitats/species/branta-canadensis#conflict:
    Lethal control
If the above nonlethal control efforts are unsuccessful and the damage situation persists, lethal control may be an option. Lethal control techniques include legal hunting, shooting out of season by permit, egg destruction by permit, and euthanasia of adults by government officials.

rhhardin has a point. There are two geese populations, the migratory and the residential. Back when I was in Maryland, there was a residential season (early Sept) which permitted 3 a day, M-S, for two weeks. Contrast that to the migratory season (week or two in November) on the Atlantic Flyway which was a single goose per season. The residential population were basically rural rats destroying entire ecosystems. On the first day the 6 of us took 18 geese in 15 seconds. It got harder as the geese got smarter, or at least more cautious, but we left a solid dent in their numbers. Unlike the migratory, one could watch the residentials the week before and establish their flights paths and time of arrival at the nightly rest area. As one guy put it, “we don’t hunt, we harvest.”

go kill some geese and ducks out of season without a license. Report back after your sentence is finished.

Fine, but it’s premature to conclude that Kamala’s goose is cooked.

The target here is the press, which is being slow cooked.

The memes will win.

…and I winced when Wall Of Voodoo went to Tijuana to eat barbecued Iguana.

Events that do not benefit The Party do not get reported.

I forget but which phase are we in? The “it happened but only a little bit” or “ it happened and here’s why it’s good for you”?

And then there’s Nathan “I wish my son had been killed by an old white guy instead” Clark.

    No words for that man

100% that guy was “talked to” by the Feds.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair in reply to KY Squatch. | September 13, 2024 at 2:03 pm

The guy is totally distraught and isn’t thinking straight. He was just trying to say that he wishes his son’s death wasn’t being talked about by everyone so that he has to relive it over and over. But the fact that his son was killed by the person he was killed by is exactly the issue. The guy is just too traumatized to process this all, somewhat understandably. He gets some leeway on this.

Red Foxx, on Sanford and Son, stated that there is a huge difference between being hit by a white man in a black cadillac and a black man in a white cadillac.

remember the excuse made by the law when “migrants” were caught after having ra ped females including young girls

its their culture

so eating pets is part of the culture

america is dissolving faster than even obama could have hoped for

destroycommunism | September 13, 2024 at 11:19 am

one womens cat is another womans meal

never forget that

I dunno anything about all this. I’m just sitting here and dreaming of the Trump campaign raising funds by selling a great new recipe book, “Kamala’s Cat Cuisine”.

All I can say is that I’ve been to Haiti. It made a huge impression on me. I had never seen anything like that. That was the most disgusting, nasty sh*thole I ever could have imagined. I was stunned. I had never seen dirt and poverty like that. EVER.

And what they actually do with voodoo is something that most Americans really don’t want to know about. It is savage … to be charitable.

There is no reason for a single Haitian to have been brought in to America. No reason, at all. If Haitians are having any problems and think there is some first world country for them to flee to they can deal with the French. Let them fly to Europe. They don’t belong in America.
