Biden Screams About 2nd Amendment, Repeats Lie About Vance Saying ‘Facts of Life’

So many lies in less than a minute.

President Joe Biden screamed about the Second Amendment during the unveiling of his administration’s stupid new gun executive order.

Biden also repeated the lie that VP candidate Sen. JD Vance called school shootings a “fact of life.” He also lied about the 2nd Amendment being absolute and not being able to own a cannon during the Founders’ time.

By the way, you can still own a cannon.

Oh, Biden also called him Secretary Vance.

Everyone contributing to this man running in 2020 and keeping him in office should be charged with elder abuse.

This is just sad.

Second Amendment

My transcribing tool had a hard time transcribing him:

Never was a second Amendment meant to be absolute. Back when it was passed, you could not own a cannon. No, I’m not talking about joking people. The liberty of America is water with the blood of patriots.

Like hell. I’m serious. Think about it. Think about. It was never absolute. Never.

Biden has lied about not being able to own a cannon for years. Even The Washington Post debunked his claims back in 2021.

In fact, you can still own a cannon!

Lying About Vance

Just evil because no one said this:

Like some of members of congress say just quote, just get over it. I’m going to be very blunt. Secretary Vance in Ohio is called these shootings facts of life.

Who the hell do these people think they are?

On September 5, The Associated Pressed snipped and clipped part of Vance’s speech to make him appear to say that school shootings are a fact of life.

The left and the media pounced on it…except that’s not what Vance said at all.

Comments

When the Founders penned the Second Amendment it was men like Joe Biden that they had in mind.

No matter who wins in November, this ass will finally be gone from public life in January.

look what havoc he has reeked onto this one great country of ours

Kinda hard for Congress to be able to exercise their power to issue Letters of Marque and Reprisal if folks don’t have privately owned arms..including cannon. Who the hell does he think fought the Revolution and the War of 1812 or for that matter eff over the Cherokee, Choctaw, Creek, Seminole, Chickasaw and force them to Oklahoma? How about the Black Hawk War? C’mon man!

Dementia Joe confused JD Vance with Secretary of State Cyrus Vance from late 70s.

lol

The 2nd Amendment does not confer a right. It is a restriction on government infringement on a pre-existing right that is inherent to every living being.

Citizens have rights; governments have powers. And no legitimate government has the legal power to deny law-abiding citizens the ability to defend themselves. Any attempt to do so is at government’s peril.

The founders made this crystal clear time and time again. It is to Mr. Biden’s unending shame that he is unwilling or unable to comprehend this.

Hey, fat. Lunchpail Joe graduated supra cone loudly from law school twice after he finished sixth grade. He was the smartest student that Professor Kingsfield ever had. You want a punch in the nose or something?

Peter, “you’re nothing but a dog-faced-pony soldier..hey, look…no joke, man, let’s be clear, the constitution says—I mean my staff tells me—men like Vance don’t like my economic policies because (whisper) they’re working.”

Milhouse in reply to Ghostrider. | September 27, 2024 at 2:18 am

Yes, that’s right. Men like Vance don’t like Biden’s policies because they’re working.

The men, that is, not the policies. Working men tend to be more attached to their money than people for whom money just mysteriously appears, and by the time they run out they have more.

I will direct the dear readers once more to the preamble to the Bill of Rights for a better understanding of the BOR’s purpose. Repeal the 2nd Amendment tomorrow and Congress will still not have the authority to infringe upon the right. The 2nd Amendment was a guarantee that the Constitution granted Congress no such authority. If the amendment went away, the authority to infringe upon the right would still be absent from the Constitution.

Indeed. As SCOTUS said in *Cruickshank*, “The right to keep and bear arms is not a right granted by the Constitution, neither is it in any way dependent upon that instrument for its existence; the Second Amendment declares that it shall not be infringed…”

Biden’s faux righteous anger routine is embarrassing and cringeworthy. In his addled mind he thinks he’s a great statesman.

I’ve noticed that too but sometimes I think he is channeling his inner Barrack wanna be as he tried to imitate him

Let’s play with “no right is absolute”. I guess FJB wants to bring back slavery. If no right is absolute than human bondage , more than we suffer now, will be legal. FJB… a life in public service fortified with lies.

The first machine gun used by the US Military , in Cuba, was a Colt “Potato Digger” donated by Tiffany’s of New York. Hearst gave the military an armed sloop.

The first principle of leftism—that we are all slaves of the state, and expendable if it considers us in its way—is just another form of human bondage; only expanded in scope from black chattel slavery to encompass everyone in the USA.

Not elder abuse. Biden was all in.

Any sympathy for him vanishes when he shows how cruel he actually is.

Well, he is sorta right. The SA was never meant to protect against the infringement of a crackhead’s right to keep and bear arms.

Hold on a few now. If he’s going to call our rights being subject to restrictions, can we restrict the 16th to no more than 3% of our income?

I wish this guy would head back to the beach and soak of lots of Melanoma. I thought we were done with Corn Pop’s bitch.

“Who the hell do these people think they are?”
Not senile.

My father had a cannon. A 1 pounder. Shot it every fourth of July. Perfectly legal. Could hear the blast for miles. Everyone in the County knew he had it.

Old Man Yells at Nation

“Oh, Biden also called him Secretary Vance.”

A couple of months ago, I mentioned here that I had noticed a pattern in Biden’s gaffes. The above gaffe follows the pattern. As he is talking, in his head he is making associations with the names and facts of his subject. We all do this. We talk about someone named “Elvis” and we think of “Elvis Presley.” We see the place name “Berlin, NJ,” and think of “Berlin, Germany.”
Biden’s problem is he can’t always keep his inner narrative from being spoken out loud. He was talking about J D Vance, but was thinking about former Secretary of State Vance. Then his filter broke down and he appears to confuse J D Vance with Cyrus Vance. He’s not confused, he’s just sometimes incapable of preventing his inner narrative from overriding what he wants to say. (Now, there are certainly times that he is confused, such as when he wonders in the wrong direction, and has to be reeled back in by a handler. But many of his verbal gaffes follow this pattern.)

Think about this when he makes verbal mistakes, and you will see the pattern too.

Nobody cares what a brain dead deposed president thinks.

As alluded to by CommoChief above, at the time of the ratification of the Constitution, there were privately-owned warships. Biden’s ignorance of American history (and, frankly, everything else) is appalling.

yeah

b/c the second amendment reminds us of once was a school bus
must be the school bus of the future

Biden is an example of the Wizard of Oz. A faux leader that is allowed to make pronouncements that are outlandish and typically false. Once powerful, now buffoonish for all to see. The real evil are the ones behind the curtain pushing the agenda that has been so destructive to our country. The other evil is the public that believe and support the lies because they will get some benefit that they feel they deserve.

Realize for a moment that they stole the 2020 election, and have been imposing this evil upon us without any legitimate authority for nearly four years.

We have a big mess to clean up, and a long list of institutions and individuals to hold accountable. Not to mention a severe need for guardrails that will stop any future attempts at a steal.

They cheated to win, and there were no tools available to stop that cheat. That’s a sobering realization.

I really wonder as to the following. Do Biden & Co. actually know the difference between an Assault Rifle, defined in technical literature as a “Selective fire weapon of rifle configuration, chambered for an intermediate cartridge”, and an Assault Weapon, which they and other members of The Antigun Cabal keep talking and moaning about.

There are only three laws and they all have to do with physics. I am very partial to inertia.
