Teamsters Won’t Endorse Trump or Harris Despite 60% of Members Favoring Trump

Teamsters Won’t Endorse Trump or Harris Despite 60% of Members Favoring Trump

It’s the first time since 1996 the Teamsters have skipped a presidential endorsement.

LOL! The Teamsters won’t endorse Donald Trump or Kamala Harris because the union couldn’t find any “definitive support among members for either party’s nominee.”

Um, what did I just write about?

Oh, yeah. Almost 60% of the members favor Trump over Harris.

***My previous report:

Oof. Huge blow to Kamala Harris.

The Teamsters internal polling show that 59.6% of the members prefer former President Donald Trump over Harris.

“For the past year, the Teamsters Union has pledged to conduct the most inclusive, democratic, and transparent Presidential endorsement process in the history of our 121-year-old organization—and today we are delivering on that promise to our members,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “Our members are the union, and their voices and opinions must be at the forefront of everything the Teamsters do. Our final decision around a possible Presidential endorsement will not be made lightly, but you can be sure it will be driven directly by our diverse membership.”

They chose Joe Biden over Trump, but just barely.

How much do you want to be the left and media will scream sexism, especially if the union endorses Trump?

I’m laughing.

Trump visited the Teamsters union in January.

Unions geographically over represent blue states. This is damning as it is.

This “no-endorsement” press release is a huge blow to the Harris Campaign.

The Teamsters internal polling show nearly 60% of the membership prefer Donald Trump over Harris. If you are Brian Fallon tonight, you can’t sleep, you can’t stop yourself from throwing F-bomb profanities around on the Zoom calls, because not only does it affects the Harris ad buys, their donors might just turn tail and stop donating.

Yes, because this message means there is no “Joy” in Harrisville.

Any other Republican working class union candidate, at this point, as a representative of the working class Republican voter, who Trump relies on as his base, would have endorsed Trump. The fact that these white, working class Republican union voters refuse to endorse Trump, is unfortunate and telling. If only DeSantis was our nominee.

There would be no difference and they would demonize him in the same way. It’s not the man it’s the fact that he’s the opposition.

Serious question, JR. Are you retarded? Union leaders are white, working class republican voters now?

      steves59 in reply to JR. | September 18, 2024 at 9:34 pm

Hilarious. How many “working class Republican union voters” are members of union management?
      Hint: none.

Everybody who works here at a living should support the capitalist over the communist

This is insane

Yup! Bomb Treat (I meant threat) in car TODAY with rally in a few hours. Bad Guy ran into the woods.

Dems calling Trump a threat is causing this! MSM is whiping up this into frenzy!

They want Trump DEAD!

I just hope their usual MO of telling blatant lies (that Trump is causing violence against him with his words) doesn’t stick with the public.

The ridiculous and perverse idea that ANYONE is causing their own assassination attempts by what they say is so completely opposite to the bedrock principles of this country. But I guess it’s what you expect from those that want to censor their opponents at every turn.

For the record, I wouldn’t even victim blame Harris, Walz, Obama, Biden, etc. if a conservative were nutty enough to try and murder them.

You had better be careful, or Stuart Varney might cut your microphone. /sarc

Sounds like the Teamsters are not all on the same team.

Color me skeptical that Trump actually gained 24 points in 3 months.

Feels to me like they were lying to get a Biden endorsement through because they thought they could pull off the steal a 2nd time, but now they are resigned to a Trump win and are letting the real numbers out now.

This just in: Sean M. O’Brien is a chickensh!t.

A 60/40 split wasn’t enuf to overcome institutional liberal bias and lack of testosterone among union officials. The “heckler’s veto” allows The Left to freely override majority opinions because The Left is a lot more willing to resort to violence than their opposition.

The Teamsters won’t endorse Donald Trump or Kamala Harris because the union couldn’t find any “definitive support among members for either party’s nominee.”

It is safe to say no leader of the Teamsters wanted to get Epsteined in a Federal jail, or have their head blown off by Someone Whose Motive May Never Be Known (TM) just because the endorsed Trump.

I reference Ronald Reagan’s 1964 speech, “A Time for Choosing.”

The choice in this election isn’t between a left and a right. It’s between an up, or a down.

Up — the maximum in freedom or prosperity, consistent with law and order, or, down to the ant heap of impoverishment and totalitarianism.

According to the Union documents, apparently they decided no endorsement after, ‘seeing no majority support for Vice President Harris and no universal support among the membership for President Trump’.

Got that?

Their standard was a mere majority for Harris, but demanded UNIVERSAL support to endorse Trump.

As if you needed any further demonstration of just how in the tank the union ‘leadership’ is for Democrats.

Sounds to me as if the membership should be replacing the leadership. They are not representing properly.

This new song and video will help build even more sentiment for Trump / Vance 2024.

This labor Union endorsed Reagan. But they won’t endorse Trump. That tells you all you need to know about Trump.

    steves59 in reply to JR. | September 18, 2024 at 9:36 pm

No, dumbass. It tells us MUCH more about union leadership voting in contravention to the union rank and file.
Did you even read the article, bro?

probably more than 60% and b/c lefty doesnt want the troops to oust them

they are not sure how to handle the rebellion

take note of this patriots

Latest Sienna poll on New York state has Harris up 13-points. That sounds horrible for Trump until you understand Biden won NY in 2020 by 23-points.

Failing to endorse is the same thing as endorsing Trump.

They’d never endorse a Republican, so if the Democrat candidate is so bad they refuse to endorse them, it’s effectively the same thing as endorsing the Republican.

irishgladiator63 | September 19, 2024 at 12:48 pm

Clearly, the Teamsters are sexist and racist fascists who are a threat to our democracy. Democrats should repeatedly call them that.
