This week, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and Stephen Colbert shared an awkward moment on The Late Show. When he suggested to her that CNN is objective, his audience burst out laughing. Even people who would wait in line to watch Colbert know the truth about CNN’s ridiculous levels of bias.
As you’ll see in the clip below, neither Collins nor Colbert were prepared for the crowd’s reaction.

Stephen Colbert’s New York City audience laughs after he praises CNN’s objectivity“The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert’s off-the-cuff remark about CNN being “objective” drew laughter from his New York City audience on Monday night.CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins appeared on the late-night comedy show where she discussed learning about President Biden dropping out of the 2024 race, the media’s relationship with former President Trump and how Vice President Harris had shaken up the 2024 race.Collins said that the Trump campaign had been thrown off by the sudden change of the Democratic nominee after Biden stepped aside last month. Colbert then started to praise Collins’ news organization in a lead-up to a question.”I know you guys are objective over there, that you just report the news as it is,” he told Collins as audience members started to laugh in the background.”No, no no —” Colbert objected while waving his hand and grinning at the audience’s reaction. “CNN makes a…” he trailed off.”Was that supposed to be a laugh line?” Collins reacted with a smirk.”It wasn’t supposed to be, but I guess it is,” Colbert joked back before quickly pivoting to his question.

Isn’t it funny that Colbert suggested that CNN is objective right after Collins spent a moment happily describing what she perceives as Trump ‘struggling’ to find an effective attack line on Kamala Harris?
It’s really sad to see what Colbert has done to The Late Show in recent years. The show used to be for all Americans and featured guests who were movie stars, musicians, sports heroes, and other celebrities.
Now the cast of guests is a revolving list of Democrat officials, CNN and MSNBC hosts, and anyone else who shares Colbert’s pathological hatred of Trump. Media critic Stephen L. Miller, aka @redsteeze, has branded it perfectly.
