The weekend social media stream was filled with videos of the anti-immigration protests and unrest that erupted after three young girls were murdered at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in northwest England last week.
Several police officers were harmed amid “serious disorder” in Liverpool’s city center, about 20 miles from the site of Monday’s heinous stabbing spree in the seaside town of Southport, Merseyside Police said. There is “no place for this despicable behavior which disrupts the lives of members of the public who live in the city, or are visiting to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer,” the police force, which covers Liverpool and Southport, wrote on X.In Hull, a city in northeast England, three police officers were injured and four people arrested amid the mayhem, which included demonstrators chucking bottles at protests….Rioters also smashed the windows of the Royal Hotel, where riot police with dogs deployed to crack down on chaos, according to the Daily Express. In Stoke-on-Trent in central England, bricks were thrown at police offices, while scuffles had been reported in cities including Belfast, Bristol, Manchester and Nottingham.
“Journalists” are working over-time on the narrative. The mainstream media is using the term “Southport stabbings” for the slaughter of the young girls. The press is referring to Brits tired of the immigrants swamping their resources while enjoying protected class status as the “far-right“.
Police in the north of England town of Rotherham struggled to hold back a mob of far-right rioters who were seeking to break into a hotel housing asylum-seekers.Before bringing the riot under some sort of control, police officers with shields had faced a barrage of missiles, including bits of wood, chairs and fire extinguishers, as they sought to prevent the rioters, many of whom wore masks, from entering the Holiday Inn Express hotel. A small fire in a wheelie bin was also visible while windows in the hotel were smashed.
This was a favorite tactic to dismiss the European farmers protesting the senseless and economically devastating environmental regulations.
Migrant hotels, which is where those seeking asylum in the UK await their turn to be processed into the county, were the focus of some of the protests.
The demonstrations are also occurring in Ireland.
The police appear to be targeting the citizens, rather than the immigrants who are “counter-protesting”.
The press is asserting all of this unrest is due to “minisformation” over the alleged killer of those 3 girls.
Within hours of a stabbing attack in northwest England that killed three young girls and wounded several more children, a false name of a supposed suspect was circulating on social media. Hours after that, violent protesters were clashing with police outside a nearby mosque — the first of several violent protests in across England.Police say the name was fake, as were rumors that the 17-year-old suspect was an asylum-seeker who had recently arrived in Britain. The suspect charged with murder and attempted murder was named Thursday as Axel Rudakubana, born in the U.K. to Rwandan parents.By the time a judge said the teen suspect could be identified, rumors already were rife and right-wing influencers had pinned the blame on immigrants and Muslims.
The new Prime Minister, who is a member of the newly-empowered Labor Party, rushed to underscore “far-right” narrative.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer, facing his first big test since his election a month ago, has condemned the “far-right” for the wave of violence and backed police to take strong action. He discussed the disorder with senior ministers on Saturday, his office said. The last time riots erupted in Britain was in 2011 when a much larger outbreak of violence took hold, with thousands of people taking to the streets for five nights after police shot dead a Black man in London.
But labeling unhappy citizens as “far-right” isn’t quelling the unhappiness, as “Two Keir” policing is becoming a trending topic when discussing how these protests…and protesters…are being handled.
British politicians and the elite media are going to be surprised when, like the European farmers protests, these unhappy citizens do not not stop with their demonstrations against the destructive immigration policies. More protests are likely to occur, as the super-generous immigration perks will probably be ramped up under Labor leadership.
