Kamala Harris Open to Discussing Arms Embargo Against Israel
I wonder if Harris is also open to a weapons embargo against Ukraine.
Presumptive Democrat presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris said she’s open to discussing an arms embargo against Israel.
Erica Green at The New York Times reported that Harris met with co-founders of Uncommitted National Movement, the group that inspired voters to vote against President Joe Biden in the primary due to Israel.
“Abbas Alaweigh and Layla Elabed said they were in the welcoming line for Harris and Governor Walz, and communicated to Harris that they wanted to support her but that voters wanted her to consider an arms embargo to immediately stop the carnage in the besieged enclave,” wrote Green.
Harris had an audience with them and family members who lost relatives in Gaza.
Harris said “she was open to it, and introduced the two leaders to her staff.”
Alaweigh and Elabed said, “The Vice President shared her sympathies and expressed an openness to a meeting with Uncommitted leaders to discuss an arms embargo.”

She is evidently confident that she will receive the overwhelming majority of the Jewish vote, regardless of her openly anti-Israel, pro-Hamas positions. She may be right.
Bear in mind she could lose all of the Jewish vote and it’s no big deal. 2% of the voter base is nothing. She’s playing to the Jew-haters like a lot of blacks.
Correct. The only Battleground state (this year) where the Jewish vote could maybe make a determinative impact in an exceptionally tight race is PA, where Jewish voters represented 4% of the 2020 electorate according to exit polls. But, for that to happen, a significant (think comfortable majority) of Democrat Jewish voters would either have to vote for Trump or stay home. While possible (I guess), I just don’t think that’s likely.
Agreed. It’s despicable. Part of crone-harlot, Harris’s, mercenary calculus is the fact that the majority of American Jews live in staunchly “blue” states, such as CA, NY, NJ, MA. FL is solidly “red” and not in danger of falling to the Dhimmi-crats. Maybe the Jewish vote could potentially swing PA, but, that’s the only state I can think of where those votes could actually make a difference in deciding the victor.

If you’re Bibi right now looking at these comments as well as polling data that shows the race is starting to move away from Trump, what do you do with respect to Iran? I don’t see how he takes the chance and allows their nuclear weapons program to continue to exist. If Harris wins, that’s the ballgame.
Polls are crap, but the “biggest, most extensive vote fraud operation” isn’t. Is pushing Israel toward using their own nukes the plan?
Luckily for Israel – and everyone, really – they can decapitate Iran and potentially and or at least significantly degrade their advance weapons projects without having to rely on nukes….for now. Once Iran test-detonates a nuclear weapon, things get much more complicated.

Call my cynical, but, from a tactical standpoint, Israel could justifiably ramp up retaliation against Iran, the Houthis, Hezb’allah, etc., not only from a legitimate self-defense standpoint, but, with a secondary (and, unstated) aim of helping to kick the Dhimmi-crats out of the White House. The Dhimmi-crat base would then (in my estimation) blame the “Biden-Harris” Administration for failing to bring Israel to heel, under the jackboot of genocidal Islamofascists and Muslim supremacists. This would derail the wretched and vile Harris-Walz ticket.

It has been obvious for a long time that this is where the Democrats – all of them – have been headed. And not just an arms embargo, but trying to strangle Israel to death.
Frankly, at some point, Israel is going to realize that their only chance if the dems retain power will be to take out Iran (really take it out) and to take a good number of oil fields. Israel will be forced into that for its very survival. And the funny part of the whole thing is, once Israel takes gulf oil fields away from Iran most of the problems emanating from the arab/persian/muslim world will stop.
In the end, the threats to civilized society from the arab/persian/muslim world all start and stop with control of the gulf oil fields. All of these problems could have been stopped long ago if we had just taken the oil fields back from the arabs and persians, after they had stolen them in the forced nationalizations of the 1950s and 60s. Taking those fields would have been the easy way to peace. But noooooo ….
With all due respect, I contend that if Israel decides to make the geostrategic move being discussed, half measures will not suffice because half-measures will not be used in any retaliation by the Ummah. There are there are military, technological, economic, and cultural targets available whose destruction could be considered necessary and not all of them are in Iran.
Once deterrence as an operating concept collapses, along with the concept that the US can/will be a protector; so does the concept of military restraint for a lot of nations.
