JD Vance laughed at CNN’s Alayna Treene after she fact-checked a joke he made about Tim Walz and Democrats choosing Chicago to host the DNC.
On August 20, Vance said:
“My little theory about why they decided to have the convention in Chicago: Tim Walz has been going around saying that he served in war and maybe they did it in Chicago so he could accurately say he visited a combat zone.”
90 minutes later, Treene wrote:
Vance in WI says his “little theory” about why Democrats chose to host their convention in Chicago is “so that [Walz] could actually, accurately say that he went, he visited a combat zone”Democrats selected Chicago in April 2023 — long before Biden even considered dropping out
Vance responded today with a simple post:

CNN fact checker Daniel Dale debunked the lie that Donald Trump wrote Project 2025.
However, Dale didn’t debunk the lies spread throughout the convention connecting Trump to the Heritage Foundation project.
These people are worthless.
