Israeli Airstrikes Eliminate Several More Hezbollah Operatives in Southern Lebanon
Israel’s i24NEWS TV channel: The IDF “on Friday vowed to continue its policy of eliminating Hezbollah operatives.”
With the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah intensifying rocket and drone attacks on Israel, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) on Friday killed several of its terrorist operatives in strikes inside southern Lebanon.
The latest Israeli airstrikes eliminated Muhammad Mahmoud Negm and Saeed Mahmoud Daeb, both Hezbollah terror operatives responsible for rocket attacks on northern Israeli towns and cities. “The IAF struck and eliminated in the area of Tyre the terrorist Saeed Mahmoud Daeb, a terrorist in Hezbollah’s Rocket and Missle Unit,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed Friday.
The airstrikes are part of the Israeli strategy to take out the leadership of the Iran-backed terrorist group which has intensified cross-border terror attacks since October 7, the military confirmed. The IDF “on Friday vowed to continue its policy of eliminating Hezbollah operatives as it announced the killing of another Lebanese jihadist in an air strike,” the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported Friday.

The IAF eliminated Hezbollah terrorist Muhammad Mahmoud Negm, who was responsible for firing rockets toward the area of Malkia, in an airstrike, the IDF reported on Friday midday. Arab media reports added that as many as eight other Hezbollah agents were killed in other strikes.
Negm was eliminated after he launched several projectiles from Lebanon into Israel, most of which fell in open areas in the Upper Galilee with no injuries or wounded reported.
The IAF struck Negm in the area of Aita El Zot. He was a key member of Hezbollah’s Rocket and Missile Unit.
Additionally, IDF soldiers identified another Hezbollah terrorist launching rockets toward the area of Yiftah early Friday. In response, IAF struck the Hezbollah terrorist and an adjacent terror military structure in the area of Meiss El Jabal, killing the terrorist and destroying the structure.
IDF: Over the past few hours, a number of projectiles fired from Lebanese territory were identified crossing into northern Israel. Most of the projectiles fell in open areas in the Upper Galilee and no injuries were reported. Following the siren that sounded at 14:21 in the area of Shtula, it was determined to be a false identification.
The IAF struck and eliminated in the area of Aaita El Zot the terrorist Muhammad Mahmoud Negm, a significant terrorist in Hezbollah’s Rocket and Missile Unit in southern Lebanon.
A short while ago, IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah terrorist who fired rockets toward the area of Yiftah earlier today (Friday) while he was operating adjacent to a Hezbollah military structure in the area of Meiss El Jabal. The IAF struck the Hezbollah terrorist and the military structure.
In addition, a Hezbollah terrorist who fired rockets toward the area of Malkia today was eliminated in the area of Aitaroun.
The Israeli airstrikes come as Hezbollah intensifies rocket-fire into northern Israel. “Over 100 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards Israel on Friday, the Israeli army said. Two houses in the city of Kiryat Shmona suffered direct hits, according to local authorities, but there were no casualties,” Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported Saturday.
Over 100 projectiles have been fired at Israelis since this morning.

Over 100,000 Israeli civilians have been forced to leave their homes in northern Israel since Hezbollah renewed rocket attacks in wake of the October 7 attack.
“Northern Israel has become a battlefront in recent months as Hezbollah proceeds to ramp up its munition attacks including rockets, missiles and drones against the country, forcing thousands to evacuate their homes,” the Israeli news website YNET noted Friday.

IDF destroys 500-meter-long Islamic Jihad tunnel
Amid reports that the IDF was expanding its military operations in central Gaza, Israeli troops demolished a 500-meter-long tunnel in the area belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hamas’s terrorist ally in Gaza. The discovery of another large tunnel highlights the extent of underground terrorist infrastructure spread across the Hamas-infested enclave.
The Times of Israel reported Saturday:
A Palestinian Islamic Jihad tunnel located on the outskirts of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip was demolished by combat engineers, the IDF says.
The tunnel was some 500 meters long, according to the military.
It had been located by the 7th Armored Brigade’s 82nd Battalion and later demolished by the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit.
The IDF says the 7th Brigade has killed dozens of gunmen and demolished dozens of sites belonging to terror groups in the east Deir al-Balah area amid an ongoing operation.
Gaza: IDF eliminates Hamas weapons manufacturer
An IDF airstrike in Gaza killed a key Hamas weapons manufacturer, the Israeli media reported Saturday.
“Based on IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike and eliminated the terrorist Taha Abu Nada, a terrorist in Hamas’ weapons manufacturing headquarters,” the Israeli military said in a press release.

“The terrorist was responsible for the production of military equipment and additional equipment used to manufacture weaponry for the Hamas terrorist organization. These weapons are used by Hamas to fire at Israeli territory and IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip,” the military added.

The costs of continued low-level war are not high enough to make a truce profitable for both sides.
The juice has come to far to settle for a draw now. I suspect Israel has finally worked out no one is coming to their rescue to calling a truce now will be all for nothing.
