IDF Rebuts Fake Hamas Claims, Names 31 Terrorists Eliminated in Airstrike on School-Turned-Jihad Base

Once again, a Hamas lie travels halfway around the world before the truth has the chance to put on its proverbial shoes. The fabricated outrage began when Israel on Saturday destroyed a terrorist base inside an abandoned school building in northern Gaza.

Gaza City’s Al-Taba’een school had been turned into a military facility by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist groups, the Israeli intelligence disclosed following the airstrike. According to an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, the Al-Taba’een school “served as an active Hamas and Islamic Jihad military facility.”

The mainstream media claimed 75 to 100 casualties as a result of the IDF airstrike, citing Hamas-controlled “Health Ministry.” The media coverage reinforced Hamas’s narrative that Israel was targeting Gaza civilians when it hit the school-turned-jihadist base.

The IDF on Saturday countered the terrorist propaganda by releasing the names of 19 terrorists eliminated in the strike. On Monday. the Israeli military disclosed the names of 12 more Hamas and Islamic jihad terrorists, raising the number of terrorists killed in the intelligence-based precession airstrike to 31.

The Times of Israel reported the details of the successful IDF strike:

The Israeli military and Shin Bet security agency said on Monday that they had verified the deaths of a total of 31 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives in Saturday’s airstrike on a school in Gaza City.Hours after the strike, the IDF named 19 Palestinians it said were terror operatives killed in the attack against an “active” Hamas and Islamic Jihad command room, based out of a mosque in the al-Taba’een school complex, in Gaza City’s Daraj neighborhood. On Monday, the IDF released the names and pictures of another 12 Palestinians it says were killed in the strike and were terror operatives. (…)According to the IDF, the strike was carried out using three “precision munitions” against the two terror groups’ command room embedded within a mosque at the Taba’een school complex.

Kamala Harris, UN and Muslim regimes condemned Israel for hitting school-turned-terrorist base

The Mainstream media ran with the fabricated claim made by the Hamas-run “Health Ministry,” accusing Israel of targeting civilians.

The BBC described the terrorist facility as a “school building sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza City.” The broadcaster further claimed that the “building also served as a mosque.”

The United Nations and European governments slammed Israel, taking Hamas’s claims at their face value. “UN Secretary-General António Guterres has deplored a deadly weekend attack on a Gaza school-turned-shelter,” the organisation said in a statement Monday.

“The strike has been criticised by Western powers, as well as regional countries which have said it shows Israel has no desire to reach a ceasefire or end the Gaza war,” the BBC noted.

Harris parrots Hamas claims

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris slammed Israel for the strike, parroting the Hamas talking point Israel was somehow deliberating about targeting Gaza civilians. Harris said “too many civilians have been killed” in the wake of the IDF airstrike.

The Times of London reported Sunday:

Kamala Harris has criticised Israel’s attack on a school in Gaza, in which 93 people were killed. The US vice-president said that “yet again far too many civilians have been killed”, in the attack.

The Harris presidential campaign was joined by Muslim states, overwhelmingly Islamist and dictatorial regimes, in condemning Israel for targeting the school-turned-Hamas base. “Muslim world condemns Israeli attack on Palestinian worshipers in Gaza school,” Turkey’s pro-Hamas regime-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Hamas fires rockets at Tel Aviv, central Israel

While the world was busy ‘condemning’ Israel, Hamas fired more rockets at Israeli towns and cities — using Gaza’s humanitarian zones as launch pads. One Hamas rocket landed off the coast of Tel Aviv, failing to reach the Israeli population center.

The Jerusalem Post reports:

Hamas attempted to fire two rockets at Tel Aviv and central Israel on Tuesday, but failed with one of them landing in the Mediterranean Sea and one of them failing to even leave the Gaza Strip.Citizens in Tel Aviv and other parts of central Israel heard sounds of explosions, initially creating confusion until the IDF clarified the situation.According to the IDF, the rocket which landed in the Sea was immediately detected, but the IDF did not activate any alarms because it was apparent from the start that its entire trajectory was flying only over the Sea.

IDF continues to hit Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorists in southern Lebanon

Amid the growing threat of an Iranian attack, the Israeli military continued to target Hezbollah terrorist commanders and fighters who are spearheading the Iranian terror offensive on Israel’s border with Lebanon.

To face emerging threats, particularly from Iran and its terrorist proxies, the IDF was at “peak readiness,” the Israeli military assured. “We take the declarations and statements of our enemies seriously. Therefore, we are prepared at peak readiness in offense and defense,” IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said Monday.
