Harris’s Pre-Taped CNN Interview Will Include Walz

Harris’s Pre-Taped CNN Interview Will Include Walz

Can…can she not do an interview on her own?

LOL! I’ll be gone for this. Oh darn! #sarcasm

Kamala Harris’s first interview will take place on CNN with Dana Bash. It will be pre-taped and include Tim Walz.

Can…can she not interview on her own?

Duh, of course, she can’t do the interview alone! Usually, I wouldn’t care that the interview is pre-taped. Aren’t most sit-down interviews pre-taped?

But considering how much the media has pumped up Harris…the pre-tape is suspicious because you know CNN and Harris’s handlers will edit the interview to make her look and sound normal.

They’ll do the same with Walz.

How do we know this? Well….

Harris promised to have an interview by the end of the month.

Marc is correct. The campaign had a hard time picking the correct network and interviewer for Harris (emphasis mine):

— Who should you send your pitch to? One source of intrigue concerns who in Harris world will actually make this decision. BRIAN FALLON, the campaign’s senior adviser for communications, is generally considered the key person. But the interview has to be coordinated with Harris’s official office, where the communications director is KIRSTEN ALLEN. We hear there are some tensions.

Another source with knowledge of the process said that STEPHANIE CUTTER, senior adviser for message and strategy, will have an outsized role, as well. Campaign chair JEN O’MALLEY DILLON and senior advisor DAVID PLOUFFE represent another camp. And MAYA HARRIS and TONY WEST, Harris’s sister and brother-in-law, will weigh in with their own views. The political operatives on this list all have long-term relationships with TV networks and their major talent. But unlike Biden, Harris herself doesn’t have the same deep history with the journalists now wooing her.

— What’s the goal? There has been considerable debate in Harris world about the purpose and timing of the interview. The main narrative in the political press is that Harris needs to do a lengthy serious interview with a brand-name news anchor who will push her on issues.

Well, duh, considering Harris has no platform and is flipping and flopping on any issue that comes up.

Bash likely won’t press Harris hard, considering it’s an interview with Walz.

Joint interviews happen during the campaign, but as Politico wrote, those “tend to be softer and focus more on the relationship between the two candidates.”

I mean, I don’t expect a solo Harris interview to be hard-hitting, especially on a network like CNN, but a joint interview likely won’t be serious at all.

Can you imagine her sitting down across the table from Putin or Xi engaged in high-stakes geo-political negotiations, with ‘FWEEDOM’ literally on the line for a billion people?

She’d probably try to suck her way out of it.

Pathetic.

Make she can “unburden them” of the day before or the significance of the passage of time while introducing them to a yellow school bus; everyone loves one of those.

I’m guessing she’s a student of the Abe Simpson School of Negotiating: tell meaningless stories that don’t go anywhere. Maybe your opponent will give in just to make you shut up.

“So, Vice President Harris, lets find out what gave you your perspectives in life. You’re back in first grade. What gave you the most trouble. staying within the lines or choosing which crayon color to use?”

Could she pre-tape her half of the conversation?

Might be me, but it seems the lamestream media is ever so slightly darkening her skin tone.
And I like Megan Kelly’s description of Awalz on her twitter.

“emotional support governor”
One comment asked if he’d be wearing a “don’t pet my emotional support governor”.

This will be so heavily edited that even her word salads will seem pithy.

This is exactly the same as a live, one-on-one interview, except for the ‘live’ and ‘one-on-one’ parts, so please stop picking on The People’s Choice.

    They are both imbeciles!

Just as Joe Biden looked long and hard to pick someone stupider than himself…

So Kamala looked even longer and harder to come up with Walz.

Sounds like a nice joint effort production: written by gifted writers, professionally directed, rehearsed, prerecorded, edited. All that’s left is to open the top of your head and pour it in.

Pre-taped isn’t an interview, it’s a propaganda film. Probably edited by Harris’s team.

So she needs to have the white, heterosexual male “dad” with her to do a puppet media interview? That ought to get some liberal heads exploding. Maybe he’ll do some mansplaining for her.

The only possible interesting parts of this pretend interview will be the outtakes. Perhaps some of them will make their way onto the internet …

Dana Bash was awful in the Trump-Biden debate. Jake Tapper was actually pretty fair and down the middle, but Bash was terrible and as biased and hostile as we expected.

This is NOT an interview. It’s an infomercial … except, in this case, the broadcaster is paying for the time. It should have to be registered as an in-kind contribution.

Just seems like an odd thing to do. Seeing the pictures of the DNC, it struck me just how small she looks next to Waltz. I actually wonder if that is why they wanted them seated during the ABC debate, so she wouldn’t look quite so small next to Trump.

So not only are they making it look like she needs a minder, they’re going to make her look weak in the process.

Just a really weird idea.

Kamala Harris is ‘so far ahead’ they won’t even let her sit by herself for an interview with a laughably friendly journalist on a laughably friendly network.
