Fakala? Have Republicans Finally Come Up With A Brand For Kamala?

Fakala? Have Republicans Finally Come Up With A Brand For Kamala?

JD Vance: “She’s fundamentally a fake person who changes her tune depending on what audience she’s in front of.”

So I’m minding my own business, scrolling through my X feed, and I see some video clips of JD Vance swatting away cheap shots from Jon Karl (ABC) and Dana Bash (CNN). He also was on CBS Face the Nation, but I haven’t seen any clips of that.

He did really well, but that’s not what’s most interesting to me. It’s the conduct of the interviewers, constantly interrupting and talking over Vance and arguing with him.

But this one really caught my attention, Vance making the point that Kamala is not running a campaign, she’s making a movie, she’s fake.

Kamala Harris isn’t running a presidential campaign. She’s producing a movie. Everything is scripted everywhere she goes.

She’s fundamentally a fake person who changes her tune depending on what audience she’s in front of.

To brand someone effectively, there has to be some truth in what you say. That’s why “Low Energy Jeb” was so effective – people heard it and laughed and thought, yeah, he is low energy. You have to exploit what people already are inclined to believe.

So is being a fake Kamala’s brand? Certainly there is plenty to paint that picture, such as her varying accents depending on the crowd, her empty suit intellect, and changing almost every major policy position she had just a month ago. There’s a truth there to her fakery, and it easily could be turned into her brand.

Then I read this tweet from political consultant Alex Castellano. It’s long so you have to click on the tweet to read the full text, but he’s arguing that Trump needs to find one theme against Kamala and stick to it, and Kamala being a faker is it. Here’s the key part:

Then, in an unfortunate prisoner exchange, Joe Biden lost his job — and the Trump campaign lost its focus. Though the election has changed, and Trump’s old adversary has left the building, Trump is still running against Joe Biden. He is not running against the new candidate in front of him.

Harris has many debilities, but she is not Joe Biden. She is not perceived as part of the old, self-serving Washington establishment whose opposition breathes life into Trump.

Harris does not look like the past: She offers the promise and possibility of a new generation. She does not look like the Washington establishment: She’s the first black and the first woman to gain the presidential nomination of either party.

More importantly, Harris killed the King. She slayed the reigning figurehead of the tired, old Washington establishment. Regicide, along with race, youth, and gender, now make her a political outsider – an equal, in that aspect, to her opponent.

Trump could claim Biden was exactly what he appeared to be: a dangerously weak, liberal failure. To stop Harris, the Trump campaign must explain the opposite: Harris is not what she appears to be at all…..

The best campaign Trump can run against Harris-Walz has the fundamental structure of a horror movie: These two radicals claim they are like you? It’s a trick! The call is coming from inside the house! Watch out for the axe! Whack!

The contrast between what Kamala Harris is trying to become 90 days before an election and her beliefs three short weeks ago is emotional dynamite, providing tremendous dramatic power. Trump has time to turn this election around.

But Trump must stop running against Joe Biden and run against the fake, new Kamala Harris.

Low Energy Kamala? Nah.

Fakala?

Finally?

Wasn’t it obvious that this was the theme from day one?

Fake race.
Fake border czar.
Fake nomination process.
Fake position on fracking.
Fake AI-generated crowds.
Fake accent.
Fake position on taxing tips.

It’s all fake.

If Fakala is adopted and pronounced in the same way we are admonished to pronounce Kamala, it will sound very dirty indeed. Dirty and apt.

“Fakala” sounds too much like “faygala,” pidgin-Yiddish for a gay man. Also the long “a” sound is not found in the pronunciation of Kamala’s name.

“Obamala” not only repeats the “ah” sound in Kamala but also accurately reveals the true nature of the candidate, her patron, and actual authority should Kamala be elected as the nominal president.

I don’t think this will work. She is not going to anger enough people in her base to cause a significant defection. More importantly, swing voters and conservatives that really don’t like Trump and are looking for a reason to vote the other way might see this as a sign that Harris is willing to move towards the center on policy instead of being totally loyal to the crazy leftists. She is a flip flopper but *news flash* she is a politician trying to win. I just don’t think enough of the right people will care, and some may actually be encouraged.

It’s not for her base, but to communicate to people being manipulated by her dissembling and genuine lack of authenticity. It’s how to counter the joy of it all, by attacking it and her team as intentionally hiding the truth about who they are and what they will do.

But I think it works the other way, too: Kamala’s willingness to flip flop her way to the center is also a signal that when she says a bunch of leftist nonsense, it can be at least partially dismissed as just red meat for her base that she has no intensions of following through on. Essentially it actually makes her less scary to the people she needs to vote for her. I do not think Trump and Vance are doing a very good job of showing people how left she is or has been and it is more likely that the Harris campaign is going the have more success at easing anxiety over her past. I don’t like her or her politics but it appears to me that she is willing to play a smarter game and therefore it is more likely that she will win.

Kamala Harris isn’t running a presidential campaign. She’s producing a movie.

Kamala is no producer. She’s not a director. She’s not even an actress. Kamala is an extra who hit the casting couch with Harvey to get a couple of lines thrown in.

How about something simple … like “Dingbat”?

JD Vance comes across as a very credible, disciplined, insightful, articulate leader – I’m very impressed and this speaks to Trump’s judgement. He keeps making the Walz lies, not about Walz but about the judgment of Harris for picking a b/ser. He is in his stride. Mike Pence would not have pulled this off this performance. If the Trump Vance ticket wins, some credit should accrue to JD.

Good info from the Professor and Castellanos. I think Fakamala is pretty good, although I don’t think nicknames win elections.

I think of her as Commie La Harris.

“More importantly, Harris killed the King. She slayed the reigning figurehead of the tired, old Washington establishment.”
Bullshit. She was coincidentally in the same city when it happened, that’s as close as she got to it.

Diamond & Silk coined “The Fraud Broad.”

I think KamaChameleon works just fine.
A tune’already written needing just a few lyric changes.

I kind think The Original Hawk Tauh Girl works. HTG

Looks like kneepads and assuming the position will only get a fake person so far. This time, to the Vice Presidency.

SCAMALA!

Just this morning I was thinkin’ bout how Walz got out of his Iraq deployment. He weaseled out. Then I thought how “Weasel Walz” would perhaps be a more socially acceptable moniker than “No Balls Walz”.

I completely disagree with this name calling. I said in 2017 that Trump would never be reelected if he did not become “Presidential”. I have not changed my view. Trump needs to articulate specifically what the Biden-Harris policies have been for 3.5 years, what he delivered as President and that he would repeat what he has already done. Harris should not be allowed to escape “Border Czar”, the resulting Laken Rileys, or the fact that she cast the tie-breaking votes in the Senate for the two major Biden-Harris administration spending bills that caused all the inflation. It was her policy and her vote that gave us that. I have not seen the latter mentioned even once by Trump or Vance.

The Fakin’ Jamaican

Many have commented that Kamala’s tie-breaking Senate votes on major administration spending bills have caused the inflation we’ve observed since 2021-22. Do people really believe that she made her own decisions on those tie-breaking votes? She was only doing what administration puppetmasters told her to do. She may not even have read the summaries of the bills she was voting on. Such is her exposure to the nuts and bolts of legislating. It’s all part of the marketing/movie-making deception that is Kamala Harris.

If “she was only doing what administration puppetmasters told her to do”, and avoids any accountability, then she is not qualified for the job of President. By the way, Biden has been in the same boat since 2020.

I’m happy with just calling her Kamala.
Look up the Finnish translation of her name.
Good enough for me.
Kamala is absolutely kamala!

It’s very hard to use her name in a meme. Any meme’s created by President Trumps or his digital team will be called racist the minute it hits internet. Just stay on the economy, border, out of control spending. In fact, just call her Ms Harris. She won’t know what to do about a courteous addressing of her name. Now the rest of us….call her what she and waltzing Matilda are, COMMUNISTS! FKH

Yeah, let’s call our opponents names….that’ll get them!! 🙄 Queue theme music from Titanic.
Big ship sinking fast.

Troubala. She eclipsed Trump in the polls last week (I haven’t checked Monday). And we all know that a ‘statistical tie’ in a state run by Ds will somehow tip in their favor.

Branding a politician as a ”flip-flopper” is actually complimenting her on being a good politician. I think Rs should continue to hound her not only on the top polling issues of Economy and Immigration, but keep mentioning that KH wants men in the ladies room, riots, and people judged by their skin color. The latter issues are where a lot of Ds hate their own party.

I like to call her Kama-ooh-la-la, but I agree name-calling dilutes the message about her character and the job she has done as V.P.
