Chicago Denies Pro-Israel Group Permit for March Near DNC

Chicago quickly granted protest permits to many anti-Israel groups.

The DNC is going to be so much fun next week! #sarcasm

Pro-Israel group Israeli American Council (IAC) said Chicago denied it a permit to march and protest outside the DNC:

“It’s an outrage,” said Elan Carr, CEO of Israeli American Council (IAC), the group who applied for two permits with Chicago’s Department of Transportation last month.

“We put in a permit to march, to exercise our First Amendment rights. Not only to stand up for Israel, but to stand up for America, because the people who love Israel are the people who stand with America, wave American flags, not burn them. Sadly, not only has that permit not been granted to us, but in the interim, a permit has been granted for anti-Israel groups, the same groups that do burn the American flag…”

Carr told “Fox & Friends First” Monday that he feels the alleged differential treatment is “inequitable” and went on to allege that his group’s effort to show photos of American hostages in Gaza at Midway and O’Hare airports was also denied.

“They wouldn’t even put it [the rejection] in writing. It was a phone call,” he told co-host Carley Shimkus.

“We said, ‘Can you give us an actual denial in writing?’ They said, ‘No, we’re not going to put it in writing. It’s going to be a phone call only.’ I’ll tell you, this is bad stuff and this should be looked into,” he added.

However, the city gave permits to plenty of anti-Israel groups. A federal judge rejected their request for more space after they claimed Chicago’s “preferred protest route violates their First Amendment rights.”

The groups Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, the Anti-War Committee, Students for a Democratic Society at UIC, and the U.S. Palestinian Community Network will “March on DNC 2024” next week after Chicago approved their permit weeks ago.

They’ve given Kamala the nickname “Killer Kamala.”

Tens of thousands of people from places such as Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin will arrive by bus:

“We’re not going to do anything different. We’re going to mobilize,” the groups’ [U.S. Palestinian Community Network] leader, Hatem Abudayyeh told NBC News. “Harris represents the administration; she represents Biden. There is nothing that she has expressed independently that tells us she does not support the policies.”

“The movement is saying not only are we needing to stop the genocide, but we need to stop the possibility that this thing is going to be a regional war,” he added.

Did anyone expect different from the communist city of chicago?

“That’s the Chicago way”.

They’ll still vote Democrat.

You wouldn’t have changed the minds of any actual Chicago voters. They are all dead anyway.

Really, the Pali community leaders name is Hatem?

This is just another example of heckler’s veto.

Pro-Israel demonstrators will cause the Muslims to riot.

Therefore, we must keep the Pro-Israel demonstrators away.

Yes they will continue to vote D
the muzzles will riot anyway …
glad I stocked up on popcorn.

The question then will be, will Jews arm up? Or, will they be “Heshie, please…! Don’t make trouble, just climb into the truck!” as the police scream the American equivalent to their great grandfathers’ screams of “raus! RAUS!”

      as the saying goes…..

first they came for the ………..

its going to take the exact same effort it takes to defeat any enemies of freedom

a concerted effort of good people to stop evil

It makes perfect sense to me.

The presence of counter-protesters holding different views than the protesters, would obviously incite the oh-so-tolerant leftist protesters to violence.

The counter-protesters can’t be allowed to express their Constitutionally protected opinions for their own safety, don’t you know.

I saw a rumor that tens of thousands of Antifa were descending on Chicago, so this could be gloriously bad.

The pro Israel group was clearly discriminated against and should seek a permit via the Courts

well, the sds are a bunch of lightweights–danced with them on the west mall years ago–potheads / soyboys / trustfund idiots–no sweat

the others, particularly antifa, are another matter–likely to be armed and organized–hope chicago pd and rational citizens ( if there are any left in cook county ) are prepared–would not want to be working security for the event even for a helluva lot of money–much safer and the same or more money in the me or s. america

Grow some.

Gather, bring your hostage photos, your flags, and march irregardless of permit. Shove it down their throats.

“The movement is saying not only are we needing to stop the genocide, but we need to stop the possibility that this thing is going to be a regional war,” he added.

1) No genocide
2) Stopping everything is simple and always has been. The Hamas Terrorists surrender and release all the remaining hostages that are alive as well as the bodies of the ones they murdered.
3) Establish a territory not run by murdering terrorists who continue to send rockets into Israel and attempt terrorist acts.
