‘Absolutely Disgusting’: Pro-Life Democrats Might Leave Party Over DNC Abortion Van

“I think this convention is going to be abortion-palooza. In response to them providing abortions, we would provide actual support to women in need. So, we started a diaper drive.”

The Democrat Party has pro-life members.

They’ve tolerated their party’s abortion worship, but the abortion van at the DNC might be the last straw:

“They’re degrading human life and women for that matter. It’s just absolutely disgusting. This continued celebration of abortion,” Democrats For Life of America executive director Kristen Day told Fox News Digital.

Day is appalled that Planned Parenthood is offering free abortions inside a “mobile health clinic” parked in Chicago during the convention. Pro-abortion activists also marched through the streets of Chicago ahead of the convention.

“I think this convention is going to be abortion-palooza. In response to them providing abortions, we would provide actual support to women in need. So, we started a diaper drive,” Day said.

Abortion is murder. You’re killing an unborn human being. That is why the abortion industry fights against ultrasounds.

Facts are stubborn things.

Trust me when I say that when you have a six-week ultrasound and you hear your child’s heartbeat when she’s the size of a grain of rice, it changes you.

Day continued:

“Planned parenthood, this is what they do. They do abortions. They, they do not support pregnant women,” she continued. “And this just continues to prove the fact that that is their main focus… all they care about is abortion.”

Day believes the “overall problem” with the Democratic Party is the constant “celebration of abortion,” which used to be something progressives wanted to be safe, legal and rare.

“The fixation on it from the extremists, it’s harmful to women,” she said.

“In states with the largest abortion numbers, they don’t even report the numbers. They don’t report the side effects. They don’t report the negative effects. And, the states that do, we’ve seen in some states women have nine or more abortions. How is that good for women’s health? It’s not at all,” Day continued. “So, I think the celebration of having the free abortions here is just, a real travesty for Americans.”

The pro-abortion people don’t want females to have a choice. They want them to have one option: abortion.

We’ve seen the left demonize pregnancy centers, most of which offer information about all options, including abortion, unless the center is tied to a religion.

Day added:

Day predicted that the DNC would come and go without any talk of “respecting life,” which she said further motivates Democrats For Life of America.

“We’re showing what it means to respect human life and to get pregnant women the resources they need, get new mothers the resources they need. And that’s what the Democrats should be focused on. That’s consistent with Democratic values. Providing abortions and killing babies is not consistent with helping the most vulnerable in our society,” Day said.

Leave your party, Day. They will never respect your group of life:

“We want to talk to the delegates and ask them, ‘Do you think that this party is big enough for pro-life Democrats? Do you think that we should be included?’ So, I’m really interested to, you know, to have these conversations and figure out the future for pro-life Democrats and where we stand,” Day said.

Day said she would like to ask Vice President Harris and other top Democrats if they have ever spoken with a woman who regrets an abortion, someone who needed help from a pregnancy center in order to carry their baby to term or even a rape victim who chose to keep the baby. She believes the “celebration of abortion does more harm to these women” who have already made very difficult decisions.

If Day gets a chance to speak with DNC chair Jaime Harrison, it’ll be a first.

“We have met with every single party chair since I started this job. That’s the first thing we do when a new party chair is elected, we go and bring elected pro-life Democrats into the DNC and explain why the party needs to be the big tent party and why it’s important to include pro-life voices,” she said.

“Jaime Harrison refused to meet with us,” Day added. “He refused to meet with elected Democrats to talk about the issue and to get a better sense of where we stand.”

Abortion is the dems’ best issue, thanks to republican state legislatures putting on 6-week abortion limits.

And it wasn’t an issue for Dems before this? Please, give it a rest.

I couldn’t begin to count the number of times pro-aborts within the R’s have pearl-clutched over even mild discussion of abortion “Oh, noes, the Democrats!”

I know! It’s unfair that Americans cannot abort their babies up to and after birth! I mean, like, it’s like, tough, you know, to like, carry an invader in your belly, for, like, 18 years!

It’s criminal, like, uhhh, like, for a woman, ummm, birthing person, err, front hole, to ummm, like be forced to carry a, you know, like a, ummm, fetus, err, umm, like a whatchacallit, ummm, tissue because like, I couldn’t control my, umm, rutting like a dog.

    And like, rape, rape!

The problem with the abortion van is that it is not a medical emergency! The fact that their is an overflow creating a line out the door for the abortion is mostly political! That is what makes it disgusting. These people are evil.

If that were true, the Dems wouldn’t have to lie about Republicans wanting to ban abortion completely. The Dems obviously don’t think the truth (only permitting abortion in the first 6 weeks) is sufficiently scary, and doesn’t give them the advantage you believe it provides. Unless they’re just pathological liars who can’t help themselves.

A six-week ban is close enough to a total ban as to make little difference, since many women don’t learn that they’re pregnant until after six weeks.

(Note that I support a six-week ban. But for those who want an opportunity to abort as soon as they find out about the pregnancy, this would be a problem, and would give them a reason to vote D.)

Planned Parenthood is now competing with Uber. Its Uter division provides abortions during rides and hands the aborted fetus to you in a recyclable paper bag. The drivers are proud hacks.

Row also wasn’t law, it was just a court decision. If they were really serious they should have actually written it into law. And the had plenty of time, at least 50 years and they never did it.

They were told it was a constitutional right. Then all of a sudden, “our bad.” Do we need to write laws to instantiate other constitutional rights? Laws can be changed too, that was the whole idea of having a written constitution to start with,

They took no such steps as they now claim are needed to protect a woman’s “right” to an abortion. A SCOTUS ruling is always subject to change when a better argument comes before it concerning a matter they’ve previously heard. The Dems know this, as I’m sure they have plans for SCOTUS to revisit many subject, if and when they manage to change the nature of the court.

“Revolutionary arguments surface even when long standing practices appear to have firm judicial support.”

Also, failure to protect abortion (esp. by constitutional amendment) preserves a talking point every election cycle – “The Rs will prevent you from getting an abortion.” This leverage goes out the window as soon as a right to an abortion becomes graven in stone.

But it was well know to be a badly reasoned decision. Even RBG acknowledged that she liked the outcome but it was bad law.

Well, that’s a bit of revisionism. When they owned congress and the WH, Roe wasn’t threatened.

If they really cared about it, that was the time for them to do something about it.

They’ve been anticipating a possible reversal of Roe for fifty years. They’ve been fighting against it. So if they really cared, they could have bought some insurance by passing federal legislation mandating a right to abortion under the interstate commerce clause.

After all, there’s still an effort to get all states that still have miscegenation laws and sodomy laws to repeal them, even though such laws are null anyway.

Sadly, if you’re a “Democrat For Life” you are still a Democrat. For life.

And you’ll be voting for the Kamala/Abortion ticket because Orange Man is literally Hitler.

Although literal Nazis are marching in the streets around the DNC convention.

All 7 pro-life Democrats are going to walk away from the party…if they hear about this …which they won’t.

I would be curious to know how many vasectomies were performed for DNC attendees. I did notice that that tubal ligation was not offered – perhaps that cuts down on the main business of “Planned” Parenthood?

Correct. The main business of Planned Murderhood is selling body parts and tissue.

I’d wager tubal ligation has greater potential for complications (and more serious complications) than a vasectomy. Complications for which a mobile unit is likely unprepared. A vasectomy is so simple, if it weren’t for the pain, you could perform one on yourself with very little anatomical knowledge.

Still, you raise a good point. Does PP provide tubal ligations anywhere? If not, maybe it’s considered “too racist” to permanently sterilize so many WOC?

the more Dems that have abortions, the better for the country

As Margaret Sanger would intone, we don’t need darkies and brown people, or leeches on society. Minorities and the poor are verboten in the Democratic Party worldview.

Unless of course, if they need someone to clean their toilets and work for slave labor in their businesses.

They’re offering free tacos with an abortion? Who in their right mind would take ground meat from planned parenthood?

There are “Democrats for Life”?

The three most basic sacraments of the Democrat Party are abortion, hatred of Western Civilization, and anti-heterosexuality. A Democrat openly opposing abortion would be excommunicated.
