Trump Still Has Questions About Assassination Attempt After Meeting With Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle

“It went very nicely. She was very nice, I thought. But, you know, somebody should have made sure there was nobody on that roof”

During his interview with Jesse Watters of FOX News this weekend, Donald Trump revealed that he was visited by Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle, following the attempt on his life.

In typical Trump style, he said that Cheatle was very nice, but that he still has questions about how this happened. Who could blame him?

FOX News reports:

Trump reveals he spoke with Secret Service Director Cheatle, wants to know how would-be assassin got on roof

Former President Trump and his 2024 running mate JD Vance sat down for their first joint interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday following the assassination attempt on the GOP nominee’s life at a rally in Butler, Pa., last week.

Trump told “Jesse Watters Primetime” embattled Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle came to see him in the days following the assassination attempt.

“It went very nicely. She was very nice, I thought. But, you know, somebody should have made sure there was nobody on that roof,” he said…

Trump told Watters he was surprised at how close Crooks was able to get.

“They said it’s really, it’s a — a bad shot would usually hit the target. And so I mean, it’s got to be, somebody’s got to be there. And it’s essentially a flat roof. I mean, I noticed that she [Cheatle] said, well, this is a slope roof where you think of like a barn where you have, this thing had just a little — a little upswing in it, a few degrees. This was a not — it essentially was a flat roof,” he said…

Trump said he believes Cheatle was given “false information” when she mentioned the roof’s slope as a reason why there weren’t any Secret Service agents atop the building.

The video below is cued to start at the 3:45 mark. Just press play:

If you watched any of the coverage of congress questioning Cheatle on Monday, you probably have questions too. Even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was asking serious questions.

Cheatle needs to resign or be fired. Now.

trump>>>>best person for the job of potus!!

Is this the ultimate example of the phrase “You had one job…”

I’ve never been in the military, never been in law enforcement, nor a federal agent. I’ve never provided personal security to anyone.

That said, even stupid little ol’ me would know better than to leave a rooftop unguarded, not to allow someone with a rangefinder within a secure area, to let someone carry a ladder within a secure area, carry a rifle or crawl on a roof, or allow the subject of my protection to go on stage ten minutes after a security threat had been identified.

And that’s just the red flags off the top of my head.

No, sir. There’s more going on here than meets the eye. I am certain of it.

I think a lot of us are experiencing the tingle of spidey sense.

Yes, the level of incompetency that would be required for all those failures is simply beyond credibility. OTOH, everything fits very neatly into, at best, “setup” to allow Trump’s killing, or, at worst, an active plan to kill him.

Mr. Bean directing the Three Stooges couldn’t have effed up this badly.

She is a patsy…soon to suffer an unfortunate end.

She’s’ stepped down,’ which probably means she still gets paid WAY too much.

“Trump still has questions…”

Ya think?
