Kamala Harris Rakes in Almost $50 Million in Donations After Campaign Announcement

That was quick.

After her presidential campaign announcement, Vice President Kamala Harris has almost $50 million in the bank.

That was quick.

In a matter of hours, President Joe Biden announced he withdrew from the presidential race and endorsed Harris. Then Harris launched a campaign, and more endorsements rolled in.

We still haven’t heard from Joe.

Kamala Harris isn’t going to be the nominee. That’s why Obama hasn’t endorsed her.

Anyone that thinks the Democrats are going to pass up a shot at the White House, out of loyalty to Harris, doesn’t understand the Democratic Party

“I’m not going to be ignored, Barack!”

Harris will be the nominee; count on it. The donor class has already spoken, on this score. Further, the vile Dhimmi-crats’ corrosive racial spoils/tribalist system demands it. Harris is a woman; and, more, a woman “of color.” To deny Harris the nomination would represent a hypocritical and glaring repudiation of the Dhimmi-crats’ perennial propaganda lauding of alleged “black girl magic,” the ceaseless paeans to women “of color” and other assorted sex-based and race-based obsessions. The Party’s wretched ethos and orthodoxies won’t countenance a rejection of Harris.

I hope you are right … she’s as beatable as Dementia Joe.

… but few Dems I am talking to want her and some huge donors have already come out against her.

I think it will be a fight and she needs to spend her war chest now to solidify her position.

I think Trump-Vance beats Harris even easier than they would have defeated slow/corrupt Joe.

The termagant/harridan/shrew/nag/scold possesses less than zero blue-collar appeal, will not win votes in the Rust Belt, and, cannot divorce herself from the myriad and glaring incompetence, failures and destructive policies of the so-called “Biden-Harris” Administration. Biden, with his peerless talent for engaging in brazen mendacity, could at least make a pretense of being the alleged son of a coal miner and Rosie the Riveter, from Scranton, PA. Harris can’t credibly cosplay as working-class, in the same manner.

That’s Harris’s key flaw. She is popular with coastal, deep-pocketed, Dhimmi-crat elites, but, that’s the extent of her popularity. Her support is as shallow as she is, even if the Dhimmi-crat media shills/lapdogs/trained seals will predictably and slavishly attempt to market her as the Second Coming of a deified Obama.

I thought that too. But, there has to be someone to challenge her and I don’t see who that is. Shapiro, Newsom, Whitmer, Buttigieg, Bashear, Wes Moore, Warnock have now all endorsed her without equivocation. Along with most of The Squad, big name Senate Dems like Warren, Warner and Durbin have as well. I think the only thing that can sink her now is something disqualifying being reported in her past. I can’t imagine what that might be considering she’s been through three elections now. But, I guess anything is possible.

I failed to see how they could possibly pass up a black female for anybody else. Republicans May be, Democrats uh-uh. Their party would implode and they would alienate the most loyal segment of their voter base.

No one else can spend that $240M. That’s what matters. Also, the Clintons have their hooks in her. There’s no way Obama is just going to blow the lid on this thing. That just doesn’t happen.

A veterinarian student once showed my what happens within a flock of turkeys when one is injured. She grabbed the wing of a turkey which made it stumble and fall. The rest of the turkeys gathered around and attacked the incapacitated bird. Once she let go of the wing and it returned to normal, the attack stopped. So many preening Dems… so little time.

Don’t be complacent and believe this election is in the bag b/c Biden was convinced/pressured to bow out. The d/prog donors need to win to keep their gravy train rolling and their kooky policy preferences enacted and they are gonna open up their wallet to try and salvage the election.

I agree that conservatives shouldn’t be complacent, but, we also shouldn’t be awed and cowed by Harris. She is a deeply and transparently flawed and unlikable person and candidate, even worse than slow/corrupt Joe, in many respects.

No don’t be ‘afraid’ of Harris as someone sort of overwhelmingly gifted campaigner but you better respect the lengths the d/prog political apparatus will go to in order to win. IMO most folks 85%+ vote by team ‘Red’ or team ‘Blue’ affiliation with the candidate name secondary to the team affiliation.

A couple of things to remember
1) This seems like an impressive amount but how much of this was money that would have been donated earlier. Don’t forget that the donors were withholding donations until Biden stepped down. A sizable percentage of this could be those withheld donations.
2) It is my belief that basically all the top Democrat honchos realize that the presidential election is over and Trump will win so they are sending Kamala Harris as little more than a sacrificial lamb who won’t kill the down ballot races too much because she will at least hold onto black female voters.

So, the first people to do some fundraising for Kamala are the same people Trump’s assassin donated to……..
