Israel Confirms Hezbollah Top Military Commander Fuad “Sid Mahsan” Shukar Eliminated In Targeted Strike In Beirut

“Mahsan led Hezbollah’s fighting against the State of Israel since the eighth of October, and was responsible for the murder of the children in Majdal Shams and the murder of many Israeli and foreign citizens over the years.”

This is an update to our prior reporting on the Israeli targeted attack on a building in the Hezbollah Beirut stonrhold of Dahiya.

The target was Fuad ‘Hajj Mohsen’ Shakar, the top military commander in all of Hezbollah, and No.. 2 in the organization, someone involved in the 1982 Beirut Marine Barracks bombing that killed 241 US Marines, innumerable attacks on Israelis, and the recent bombing of a soccer field in a northern Israeli town killing 12 Druze children.

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed:

Translation via Google Translate:

The IDF eliminated Fuad Shukar, “Sid Mahsan”, the most senior military commander in the terrorist organization Hezbollah and the head of the organization’s strategic formation.

Today, July 30, 2024, in a targeted assassination operation, fighter jets attacked the Beirut area, directed by AMN intelligence, and killed Fouad Shukar, “Sid Mahsan”, the most senior military commander in the terrorist organization Hezbollah and the head of the organization’s strategic formation. At the same time, Mohsen served as the right-hand man and adviser on matters of war planning and management to the Secretary General of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.

Mahsan led Hezbollah’s fighting against the State of Israel since the eighth of October, and was responsible for the murder of the children in Majdal Shams and the murder of many Israeli and foreign citizens over the years.

As the head of the strategic array of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, he was entrusted with most of Hezbollah’s most advanced weapons, in particular the precision missiles, cruise missiles, coastal missiles, long-range rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles.
As part of this, he was responsible for the building of the force, the planning and the operation of all the terrorist acts against Israel.

Mahsan joined Hezbollah in 1985, and since then held a variety of senior positions in the organization. As part of his position, he was a member of the Jihad Council, the senior military forum of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

In the 1990s he promoted attacks against the IDF forces and the South Lebanese army, and in 2000 he was directly involved in the kidnapping of the bodies of the three soldiers Sgt. Binyamin Avraham, the late Sgt. Adi Avitan, and Sgt. L, who were killed by Hezbollah terrorists while patrolling along the perimeter fence near the Mount Dov area. Since then, he has planned and directed many terrorist attacks that have harmed innocent people.

    Fun Factoid of the Day:

The United States had issued an official claim on Shukr. The Department of State prominently declared a $5 million reward for information leading to Shukr’s whereabouts. See the State Department Rewards for Justice post on Shukr here:

    https://rewardsforjustice.net/rewards/fuad-shukr/

If US Truth In Advertising laws still mean something in this country, I urge Bibi to call Joe Biden and claim the reward. As they like to say, “Hey, $5 million bucks are $5 million bucks.”

    In other news:
Ismail Haniya was killed by an Israeli precision-guided missile and fired directly into the bedroom of his apartment in Tehran at 2:00 AM. Supreme Leader Khamenei had met with him just the day before his assassination.

Just imagine the journalist at the NYT that is tasked with writing an obit about this monster’s demise with the weight of the word “austere” over their head.

Not only was this terrorist a child killer, but he was responsible for the deaths of 241 US Marines in Beirut back in 1983.

I was very disappointed then that the Reagan Administration didn’t do a better job of retaliating.. Israel has once again proven they are a valuable ally and friend to the USA.

It’s time for the do nothing Obiden/OHarris “administration” to give the Israelis a little more respect, and stop slow walking the weapons that have been arbitrarily held up. Israel is being attacked from all sides by the Iranian terrorist regime.

It needs some backup and some help. Responsible leadership in the White house would provide that, and the one sure way to get it is to vote TRUMP!

What an incredibly articulate analysis. I’m surprised you’re not on the lecture circuit intriguing your audience with such well crafted viewpoints.

For me, his failure to remove the US from the UN was the biggest letdown.

It’s also time the Biden administration respected the American people.

Those Marxist have $ – – t all over the citizens of this country since they took office in January of 2021.

I was very disappointed then that the Reagan Administration didn’t do a better job of retaliating..

According to Adm. James Lyons, Reagan approved a major strike on Iran, but Caspar Weinberger refused to issue the order. I don’t know whether Reagan found out and did nothing to him, and if so why, or whether he never knew why it didn’t happen.

      Virginia42 in reply to Milhouse. | July 31, 2024 at 8:29 am

There was a lot of resistance from DOS and others to “do something.” This has remained a continuous problem. Why Weinberger did what he did is a mystery (at least to me).

I’m a Beirut veteran (Navy, with the Phibgru supporting the Marines) and we were all furious that nothing was done about the bombing. I definitely will have no patience for any MSNBC types or “The Squad” whinging about how this is some sort of terrible escalation.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Ghostrider. | July 30, 2024 at 10:54 pm

While better than nothing, this is no where near the level of force it will take to dissuade those terrorists.

They have genetic testing on the bomb fragments?

How do they know this for sure

Top military commander eliminated!

It’s amazing that he was eliminated. What’s even more amazing is they knew exactly where he was.

The Israelis should spread rumors around the Middle East that his whereabouts were divulged by other, named, mid- to higher-ranking members of Hezbollah. Maybe even blame someone of rank in Iran.

Nothing like creating fear and distrust among your enemies. Maybe get some of them shot. It’s all good.

      JohnSmith100 in reply to DaveGinOly. | July 30, 2024 at 10:59 pm

I very much agree, Causing adversaries to self destruct is very entertaining, it worked well in corporate intrigue.

its a shame that the squad has been in charge of america and will fight against america and israel from the inside

The_Mew_Cat | July 30, 2024 at 7:11 pm

Another one bites the dust !

Will the US pay the bounty to Israel?

Gremlin1974 | July 30, 2024 at 7:32 pm

Things that make you go…BOOM!

Once again, I wish we had Israel’s intelligence apparatus.

Way to go, Israel!!

A disappointed Harris could not be reached for comment.

May he rest in pieces.

We let him be for 41 years, Israel takes him out in four DAYS. We are not a serious country.

Most Americans have had it easy for so long that they have no comprehension of how bad the world is. At best they are niave, often stupid. =Dem

Haniyeh, too. It’s been an eventful day.

Israel taking out the Islamist trash one terrorist at a time! Keep it up. Zero remaining is a great goal to “shoot” for.
