President Joe Biden will not speak in Las Vegas, NV, tonight because he tested positive for COVID.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated in an email:
Earlier today following his first event in Las Vegas, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He is vaccinated and boosted and he is experiencing mild symptoms. He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time. The White House will provide regular updates on the President’s status as he continues to carry out the full duties of the office while in isolation.
Covid has become a cold. A statement from the doctor in the email:
The President presented this afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms, to include rhinorhea (runny nose) and non-productive cough, with general mailaise. He felt okay for his first event of the day, but given that he was not feeling better, point of care testing for COVID-19 was conducted, and the results were positive for the COVID-19 virus. Given this, the President will be self-isolating in accordance with CDC guidance for symptomatic individuals. PCR confirmation testing will be pending. His symptoms remain mild, his respiratory rate is normal at 16, his temperature is normal at 97.8 and his pulse oximetry is normal at 97%. The President has received his first dose of Paxlovid. He will be self-isolating at his home in Rehoboth.

Also at this moment, the Left is desperate to remove Biden from either the Dem ticket and possibly from office. But they are loath to do so because Harris, who is unliked and would not be a competitive candidate herself, stands in the way of Biden’s removal.
So the obvious solution to their problem is to “remove” Harris first. How convenient it would be for them if they could blame the Right for her removal.

Agreed. Keep him out of the limelight and announce he’s got a temporary illness and who would kick a guy when he’s down? So it potentially moves back the date of a palace coup and every day closer to the convention it becomes a little more difficult to pull the plug on Biden as nominee.

Keep in mind that those who are repeatedly catching and recatching the virus are almost always Vaxed, revaxed, and fully boosted with the ModRNA vaccines. The reason for this is that the ModRNA vaccines apparently greatly interfere with the ability in many, esp with somewhat compromised immune systems, to build natural, whole virus, immunities. Ditto with Long COVID. Sure, they are fairly immune to the virus, if encountered, with the original, Wuhan variant, spike proteins. Except that, likely thanks to these vaccines, those variants quickly became obsolete. Cross reactivity with Delta variant was greatly reduced, and minimal with Omicron and subsequent variants.

Doc told me tha their was no point in taking a Covid test to see if I was cured because the test couldn’t tell the difference between dead and live Covid. This is a plot to give quisling Joe another excuse to quit.
