Apologies for Angry Comments…

Apologies for Angry Comments…

This weekend was anything but normal.

I want to apologize to Legal Insurrection readers for getting angry in the comments section yesterday. Professor Jacobson has not asked me to do this, I am doing so of my own volition.

I am usually too busy to even read the comments but yesterday I snapped.

I had been up for almost 24 hours and was exhausted as well as traumatized from the events of the day and the insane media coverage with the images of the shooting being played over and over again.

So. I’m sorry for my angry comments. You probably won’t see me in the comments very much in the future because, as I said, I normally don’t post there anyway. This weekend was anything but normal.

Moving forward, I hope that the country can settle down a little bit. I don’t think any of us can take much more trauma.

Cheers,

– Mike

I’d prefer the author(s) do get involved with the posters as long as THAT doesnt lead to the authors more prominent position to get any posters censored /thrown off the site

and yeah I read your comments and though I thought it was pretty strong

so what!!!??

fjb!!!!!!

I wasn’t here to read comments this weekend, so I can’t say one way or another. But it’s good you actually posted this because you felt you had stepped over the line.

In my own decades-long experience reading multiple newspapers and/or news websites etc., seems to me you’re one of the most sane writer/reporters.

There are folks on this and other sites who needle, provoke, lie — just to get a reaction. Hoping for any kind of reaction that they can label “offensive” or “overreaction” or “inappropriate “ in some way.

This is the IRGC /Hamas BLM PLO NancyPelosi playbook.

If you got angry, LaChance, my guess is that that was a display of your own mental health. Nothing more. Nothing less.

It’s been an increasingly intense 3-1/2 years, obviously. I’ve seen on other sites authors “needing to take a break.” They used to call it combat fatigue. For a reason lolol 👍💪🫡
