Biden Fudges Everything at D-Day Ceremony

I refused to make my D-Day post about politics. Now, I’ll address the cringe President Joe Biden showcased at the ceremony.

This is elderly abuse. Jill should be ashamed of herself. I don’t know anyone who would put their elderly loved one through all of this.

Arrival

Biden arrives in tip-top shape! Just kidding. He’s confused and cannot put a sentence together.

In other words, Biden showed up as himself.

Shuffling

Biden cannot even walk. He shuffles alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. Then he lets it slip that his handlers told him he has to be the first one to leave.

That last part is important.

I Don’t Know

I don’t even know what is happening here. Something is wrong. How can Jill stand there and not DO anything? Your husband looks confused. If an elderly person needs to sit, then let him sit. No chair? The prop him up!

Did Biden fall asleep?

Orange Man Bad

Biden used his speech to campaign, equating the Republicans and the right to the Axis. First of all, America is not a democracy. Second, this isn’t about Trump or Putin. It’s about the heroes behind you:

BIDEN: “We’re living at a time when democracy is more at risk across the world than any point since the end of World War II, since these beaches were stormed in 1944. Now we have to ask ourselves, are we standing against tyranny, against evil, against crushing brutality of the iron fist? We stand for freedom. We defend democracy. We stand together. My answer is yes only can be yes.”

Russia, Russia, Russia

Also, why was Zelensky there? The ceremony is about the heroes of D-Day, but Biden just had to equate their heroics to Ukraine. Somehow, not helping Ukraine would mean we would forget what these brave men did on June 6, 1944.

What a slap in the face to the veterans:

BIDEN: “Make no mistake, the autocrats of the world are watching closely to see what happens in Ukraine, to see if we let this illegal aggression go unchecked. We cannot let that happen. To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators, is simply unthinkable. (Applause) Were we to do that it means we’d be forgetting what happened here on these hallowed beaches. Make no mistake, we will not bow down. We will not forget.”

And:

BIDEN: “Ukraine has been invaded by a tyrant bent on domination. Ukrainians are fighting with extraordinary courage, suffering great losses, but never backing down. (Applause) They’ve been inflicted on the Russian aggression. They’ve suffered tremendous losses, Russia. The numbers are staggering, 350,000 Russian troops dead or wounded, Nearly 1 million people have left Russia because they can no longer see a future in Russia. The United States and NATO and a coalition of more than 50 countries standing strong with Ukraine. We will not walk away.”

Leaving

Macron stays with the veterans.

Jill finally helps her husband but ushers him out without greeting the veterans. Then again, Biden told Macron he had to leave first!

What a disgrace.

Known Putin for 40 Years?

During an ABC interview, Biden claimed he has known Putin for over 40 years, even when he worked as an undercover KGB intelligence officer:

BIDEN: “I’ve known him for over 40 years. He’s concerned me for 40 years. He’s not a decent man. He’s a dictator. And he’s struggling to make sure he holds his country together while still keeping this assault going. We’re not talking about giving the weapons to strike Moscow, to strike the Kremlin, to strike against — just across the border, where they’re receiving significant fire from conventional weapons used by the Russians to go into Ukraine to kill Ukrainians.”

Putin worked as a KGB agent from 1975 to 1991 in St. Petersburg and former East Germany. I guess it’s possible Biden knew him in the 90s:

Putin went on to serve as an aide to St. Petersburg’s then-mayor Anatoly Sobchak and as deputy mayor from 1991 to 1996, followed by stints as a staff member at the Kremlin and head of the Federal Security Service, which succeeded the KGB after the USSR’s collapse in 1991, according to the Guardian.

LOL, yeah, right.

The world didn’t know Putin until 1999 when then-President Boris Yeltsin appointed him prime minister.

From what I can tell, David Muir didn’t push back. I’m not shocked. Why would anyone push back against the sharpest man alive!?
