Biden Fudges Everything at D-Day Ceremony

Biden Fudges Everything at D-Day Ceremony

Did you know Biden has known Putin for 40 years?

I refused to make my D-Day post about politics. Now, I’ll address the cringe President Joe Biden showcased at the ceremony.

This is elderly abuse. Jill should be ashamed of herself. I don’t know anyone who would put their elderly loved one through all of this.

Arrival

Biden arrives in tip-top shape! Just kidding. He’s confused and cannot put a sentence together.

In other words, Biden showed up as himself.

Shuffling

Biden cannot even walk. He shuffles alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. Then he lets it slip that his handlers told him he has to be the first one to leave.

That last part is important.

I Don’t Know

I don’t even know what is happening here. Something is wrong. How can Jill stand there and not DO anything? Your husband looks confused. If an elderly person needs to sit, then let him sit. No chair? The prop him up!

Did Biden fall asleep?

Orange Man Bad

Biden used his speech to campaign, equating the Republicans and the right to the Axis. First of all, America is not a democracy. Second, this isn’t about Trump or Putin. It’s about the heroes behind you:

BIDEN: “We’re living at a time when democracy is more at risk across the world than any point since the end of World War II, since these beaches were stormed in 1944. Now we have to ask ourselves, are we standing against tyranny, against evil, against crushing brutality of the iron fist? We stand for freedom. We defend democracy. We stand together. My answer is yes only can be yes.”

Russia, Russia, Russia

Also, why was Zelensky there? The ceremony is about the heroes of D-Day, but Biden just had to equate their heroics to Ukraine. Somehow, not helping Ukraine would mean we would forget what these brave men did on June 6, 1944.

What a slap in the face to the veterans:

BIDEN: “Make no mistake, the autocrats of the world are watching closely to see what happens in Ukraine, to see if we let this illegal aggression go unchecked. We cannot let that happen. To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators, is simply unthinkable. (Applause) Were we to do that it means we’d be forgetting what happened here on these hallowed beaches. Make no mistake, we will not bow down. We will not forget.”

And:

BIDEN: “Ukraine has been invaded by a tyrant bent on domination. Ukrainians are fighting with extraordinary courage, suffering great losses, but never backing down. (Applause) They’ve been inflicted on the Russian aggression. They’ve suffered tremendous losses, Russia. The numbers are staggering, 350,000 Russian troops dead or wounded, Nearly 1 million people have left Russia because they can no longer see a future in Russia. The United States and NATO and a coalition of more than 50 countries standing strong with Ukraine. We will not walk away.”

Leaving

Macron stays with the veterans.

Jill finally helps her husband but ushers him out without greeting the veterans. Then again, Biden told Macron he had to leave first!

What a disgrace.

Known Putin for 40 Years?

During an ABC interview, Biden claimed he has known Putin for over 40 years, even when he worked as an undercover KGB intelligence officer:

BIDEN: “I’ve known him for over 40 years. He’s concerned me for 40 years. He’s not a decent man. He’s a dictator. And he’s struggling to make sure he holds his country together while still keeping this assault going. We’re not talking about giving the weapons to strike Moscow, to strike the Kremlin, to strike against — just across the border, where they’re receiving significant fire from conventional weapons used by the Russians to go into Ukraine to kill Ukrainians.”

Putin worked as a KGB agent from 1975 to 1991 in St. Petersburg and former East Germany. I guess it’s possible Biden knew him in the 90s:

Putin went on to serve as an aide to St. Petersburg’s then-mayor Anatoly Sobchak and as deputy mayor from 1991 to 1996, followed by stints as a staff member at the Kremlin and head of the Federal Security Service, which succeeded the KGB after the USSR’s collapse in 1991, according to the Guardian.

LOL, yeah, right.

The world didn’t know Putin until 1999 when then-President Boris Yeltsin appointed him prime minister.

From what I can tell, David Muir didn’t push back. I’m not shocked. Why would anyone push back against the sharpest man alive!?

Comments

Well it certainly looked like he was fudging his depends.

It’s just as much him as her, in refusing to leave.

Look at Biden as he evolved. He has not changed a bit since he marched for civil rights. This is not a guy that will walk away. But will he and she accept the election results if Trump prevails?

Sweet Jesus, Pudding Cup makes End-Stage Brezhnev look like the picture of glowing health.

Couldn’t allow the 80th anniversary of D-Day to focus exclusively on the heroism and sacrifice. Couldn’t simply honor the very few remaining Vets who made probably their last trip to Normandy. Had to pollute it with more endless war/Ukraine BS. President Biden is deteriorating before our eyes, just compare this to the State of the Union a few months ago and every honest person will admit he is not well enough to perform to the high physical and mental demands of being President.

Which means nothing, since he is not and never has been the one performing anything more than the ceremonial functions.

CommoChief in reply to henrybowman. | June 7, 2024 at 10:13 am

Well sure that’s true ….but if his rate of decline and IMO the notable acceleration of the decline continues the MFr may not make it to Nov…. then the d/prog are trapped in the intersectional, ideological, tribalist cul-de-sac they created re who is chosen as the substitute standard bearer. That will absolutely mean something.

Gosport in reply to CommoChief. | June 7, 2024 at 12:11 pm

    Biden is obviously spent.

But what I find more concerning is that he didn’t write that speech himself. More than a few people on his staff thought what he said, and didn’t say, was just peachy keen. Those people need to be identified and totally flushed out of government. Forever.

CommoChief in reply to Gosport. | June 8, 2024 at 9:36 am

Those who believe in big govt gonna use that big govt to justify its existence…. then when things go poorly demand more $ to fund an even larger govt. If things go well ….they demand more $ to fund an even larger govt to deliver more ‘positive’ results ( which the big govt bean counters determine, see the absolutely insanely unrealistic employment reports of Bureau of Labor) It’s always a ‘heads I win, tails you lose’ proposition with the advocates and enablers of big govt.

Sponge Brain Sh*t Pants apparently forgot who tied up 90% of the Wehrmacht during WW2 and completely smashed Army Group Center in June 1944 taking a lot of pressure of the Western Front. What a disgrace.

      CommoChief in reply to Virginia42. | June 8, 2024 at 9:42 am

In fairness this was a D-Day focused event so the oversight is somewhat understandable. IMO a brief mention that the USSR(nominally a WWII ally though really more of an enemy of my enemy) was simultaneously absorbing huge losses to tie down the Germans in the east. Other examples as well such as the Greek resistance who tied up multiple German divisions.

This despicable reprobate and his equally vile, feckless and morally bankrupt fellow Dhimmi-crats pay supposed homage to American troops’ defeat of goose-stepping, genocidal German fascists, eighty years ago, while kowtowing to, pandering to, deferring to and enabling goose-stepping, genocidal Islamofascists and Muslim supremacists, in the U.S., and, abroad., today.

What a disgrace that crime boss and dim-witted incompetent, Biden, is present at this D-Day anniversary and ceremony, instead of President Trump.

Stumbling mumbling biden, international symbol of weakness.

The 100 y/o vets looked more physically and mentally capable than biden.

Get this man off the world stage.

I am ashamed of the past 4 years of American history.
I am more ashamed of 2008-2016.
Thanks, Michelle…we feel the same now, huh?

Same. Hussein started the downfall with his fundamental transformation that Hillary was supposed to finish, which is why this blubbering fool was selected. Hussein gets his 3rd term, and they are hoping that jailing Trump will give him his 4th and final until he becomes king.

New Biden reelection 2024 chant:

“Joe’s an idiot! FOUR MORE YEARS!!”

I don’t know anyone who would put their elderly loved one through all of this.
“Loved one”? Citing facts not in evidence.

Lemme get this straight. Joe Biden tells David Muir that he’s ‘known Putin for 40-years’ and Muir just sits there nodding in agreement? Really? Muir has NEVER struck me as a deep thinker. But, you would have to be an absolute imbecile to not realize in that moment that Biden was either lying or lost in bout of dementia. And yet, Muir can’t bring himself to push-back on Biden, even gently.

I agree that FJB is a complete national embarassment at this point. My God even when this guy was much higher functioning he was a blowhard bully moron. But I’m hoping we can keep the BS game posing him as President going for another six months. You all really ready for Cacklin Kamala Harris defiling the People’s House? I’m not.

Conservative Beaner | June 6, 2024 at 8:41 pm

It’s 1 2 3 what are fighting for,
Biden gone insane, next stop is Ukraine

His creepy manniken/ventriloquist dummy hands really strike me as odd.

Biden embarrassing himself. I love all of it. First, an onstage dooky in his diapers, then he wanders around showcasing his dementia to the world.

Did I miss one since the Pope visit?

That squatting move, which is becoming a feature in practically every public appearance by Biden, is called posturing. It’s an incredibly common sign exhibited by people with age-related cognitive impairment. Most forms of dementia attack the frontal lobe, the part of the brain that controls what’s known as our ‘executive functions,’ like language and demeanor. People are very familiar with those signs of dementia. But, the frontal lobe is also critical in executing certain kinds of body control movements called truncal motion (locomotion, standing). When these truncal movements are adversely impacted, patients will often become very unsteady when moving and will ‘posture’ – that weird-looking squat movement that looks like he’s dropping a deuce – simply when standing.

henrybowman | June 6, 2024 at 9:22 pm

So am I the only one that thinks he heard the rest of what Biden said?
“My advance team says I have to be the first one to leave because I hold people up.

When Biden’s advance team says jump, the “most powerful nam in the world” asks how high.

Compare with Trump, who — even in Democrat legend — grabs the wheel of a speeding car to enforce his authority over his “protectors.”

You need to watch the full video. The seating think is over blown. There is enough other things to peg him on, I think the seating thing is selected clipping.

MarkSmith in reply to MarkSmith. | June 7, 2024 at 8:03 am

I see a neg. Vote. Group think is dangerous. There are some many things to to focus on that are wrong and this one hurts our creditability. Watch the whole video instead of the clip. There is a chair there.

The Gentle Grizzly | June 6, 2024 at 10:34 pm

This whole thing is very sad on many levels. But, the thing I find most frightening is: I’m only 6 years younger than he is. I hope I don’t have this sort of thing to look forward to.

Somebody near and dear to me is two days older than Potus. My friend drives, walks a mile a day, minimum, does road work with a tractor, operates a lawn mower, clears trees with a chain saw, you get the picture…..No Grizzly,, I know for certain that 81 is the new 61.. for most people.. I think Joe Biden has Lewy Body Dementia..

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to amwick. | June 7, 2024 at 6:59 am

81 is the new 61 for many, but some on here know I’ve been battling some nasty health issues for several years. I am pleased to say I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on some of it. Still, I have no idea what is ahead.

It’s not his age, even though that’s how the media spins it. We were traveling with a friend last September. He’s now 84. We were rushing through an airport, trying unsuccessfully to make a connecting flight. I couldn’t keep up with him — I’m 68. He played tennis in years past, now plays pickleball.

Biden should have been in a wheelchair like all the D Day veterans. Although kept separate so as not to be confused with those heroes!

TargaGTS in reply to bev. | June 7, 2024 at 8:22 am

Exactly correct. Look at Al Michaels (80) and Alan Dershowitz (85) compared to Joe Biden (81). Michaels called 12 games for Amazon last year and sounded exactly like he did when he was doing the Olympics in 1980. Dershowitz spends his day doing media spots where he’ll extemporaneously speak (sometimes for hours) about complicated and often obscure, esoteric principles of law, running circles around lawyers half his age. Biden has lost a step. He’s lost all the steps.

CommoChief in reply to TargaGTS. | June 7, 2024 at 1:14 pm

Very accurately expressed exceptions to the general rule that age IS a very useful proxy for the level of performance a person is capable of. Argument against the usefulness of this general proposition is also an implicit argument that we should raise the eligibility age for SSI to 85 based upon your example of Alan Dershowitz.

Either we can have general expectations re age related performance and make public policy from them b/c those expectations are grounded in reality or we can’t b/c they are wrong. I would submit that while exceptions exist we shouldn’t attempt to wish cast age related performance expectations away b/c for the vast majority those age related performance expectations hold up very well.

So, you’ve known Putin for only 34 years?

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to Q. | June 7, 2024 at 8:28 am

No, but I still play poker with Breshnev and Khrushev regularly. Yes. I play poker. Give me a fireplace tool and I will play any tune you like.

E Howard Hunt | June 7, 2024 at 8:00 am

Biden had to be repeatedly corrected that D-Day was not the time he had confronted Corn Pop at the public swimming pool.

Capitalist-Dad | June 7, 2024 at 9:12 am

Don’t expect honesty from the detestable little propagandist Muir. If Biden wants to fight totalitarian actions, he should disband his treacherous Party, because the actually practice EVERY aspect of the tyranny and despotism with which he tries to smear MAGA.

drsamherman | June 7, 2024 at 9:36 am

I can’t think who would have been worse—Joementia or Cacking Kamala?

Joementia goes boom boom in his adult diaper and makes an absolute fool of himself while making an utter fool of himself drooling out political hackery (surprised he didn’t go into domestic policy issues!) to a somber memorial to the international D-Day services. His wife has to quickly “exit, stage left even…”, doing his Snaggletooth bit to avoid even further humiliation.

OR

Cackling Kamala would have stood there tossing up a word salad mixing racism with with some vague references, probably bringing up the wrong battles (Verdun, Leyte Gulf) and saying the Germans shouldn’t have bombed Pearl Harbor (Ala Bluto) while the audience tried so forcefully not to start laughing out loudly at her stupidity. She would have flown home giving interviews about how wonderful her speech was and how “brave” she was to show “courage” to speak to an “all white” male audience.

This administration is the most humiliating combination of fools in American history to ever represent the USA abroad, surpassing even the Carter administration by a few hundred thousand light years.

I’d believe Biden knew Putin 40 years ago. The only question I have about it was what secrets did Biden offer to share with Putin 40 years ago?

Maybe Tucker Carlson should ask for another interview with Putin to find out?
