Anti-Israel Student Activists at California State U. Take Over Building With Administrators Trapped Inside

“Video footage showed protesters wearing kaffiyehs and face coverings using golf carts, picnic tables and umbrellas to create a makeshift wall along the building’s perimeter.”

Anti-Israel student activists have become increasingly aggressive in the scope of their actions because the consequences are still not serious enough to discourage their behavior.

At Cal State University, they just took over a building with school administrators trapped inside. This is terrorism.

FOX News reports:

Anti-Israel protesters trap California university administrators, take over and vandalize campus building

A large group of anti-Israel protesters took over and barricaded a campus building at the California State University, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, trapping school employees inside.

Between 50 and 100 protesters blocked off entrances and exits at the student services building, according to KTLA 5. Video footage showed protesters wearing kaffiyehs and face coverings using golf carts, picnic tables and umbrellas to create a makeshift wall along the building’s perimeter.

Some of the protesters, who had reportedly come from a nearby encampment, sat in chairs chained to columns at the base of the building.

The protesters smashed windows and left behind graffiti, copiers and furniture. They also flipped over at least one vending machine.

The occupation of the building forced some university staff members, including the university’s new president, Berenecea Johnson Eanes, to shelter in place.

Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived on campus around 10 p.m. KTLA reported that administrators were able to leave the premises Thursday morning.

Notice that the students keep their faces hidden under masks and sunglasses.

Here’s a local video report:

KTLA News describes the damage the students left behind:

Trash, graffiti and smashed windows were left behind at the student services building on Thursday. Protesters flipped over golf carts, copiers, furniture and even a vending machine in order to create a barrier between the main campus area and the building.

The pro-Palestinian protesters have been calling for the university to cut ties with Israeli-based companies.

Protesters told KTLA that the vandalism in the building was in response to “radio silence” from the university in regards to the Israel-Hamas War.

“We don’t think property is sacred,” said a protester identified as Vera. “We believe that lives are more important than property. Especially when our money goes to this school. This is extensively our university, but we aren’t treated that way.”

This is going to continue to escalate until schools take control and make it painful for students to behave in this way.

These filth aren’t protestors they are terrorists, and should be treated as such when their terrorist activities are being put down.

      No, I agree with him.
      More of this, please.
Break their glasses. Put dunce caps on them. Berate and humiliate them. Kick them and spit on them. Bus them out to the countryside to work in the fields.
This is what Marxists DO to academics. Today’s insane academics somehow don’t know this. They need to learn it for themselves.
Then and only then will others like them grow the balls to arrest and jail their precious little homegrown terrorists.

People trapped? No, it’s called kidnapping. Anyone expecting commiefornia to apply the laws in this case are delusional. Try it in Florida, please hamas wannabes, please try it in Florida. FJB

This is exactly why “illegal detention” is in most cases identical to “kidnapping.” The only difference is whether you move someone after having captured them.

And I encourage all people to treat the moment as such if you have to deal with it. (Kidnapping is a “violent felony.”) (But California will not support you as the law requires, if you do so. So move.)

Kidnapping is a federal offense. Is illegal detention a state offense, not federal?

Kidnapping is a state offense. IF the victim is taken across state lines, it is also a federal offense. The FBI may assume that a kidnapping victim whose location is unknown was taken across state lines so they can take over the investigation, but when they’ve found the victim and he wasn’t taken across state lines, the case goes to state or local prosecutors.

On the other hand, part of the costs of that building were probably covered by federal funds, and it’s likely that part of the university staff’s pay comes from federal funds. So there are hooks for federal laws other than kidnapping to apply.

I’m inclined to think these idiots are trying to do as much damage as they can before President Trump is reelected: Vegas odds say he’ll, quite rightly, come down on these shenanigans like a ton of bricks.

The problem with that theory is that Trump has *Federal* powers, and during the 2020 riots, the State and Local authorities blocked any attempt to confront the arsonists and looters. We repeatedly saw blue cities in blue states have their voters burn, loot, and murder their way around town, and the full force of the local authorities only dropped down on anybody who defended themselves against violence. (See Kyle Rittenhouse for an example)

I admit to being 70 and, by definition, old. Old enough to have been around for the Vietnam War protests, although never a participant. I DID have a draft number though, and one low enough to focus my attention on the question of why we (The United States) were doing what we were doing.

However I cannot wrap my head around how any American college student could support Hamas. How can 7 October possibly be justified? How can a ‘government’/ruling gang willing to cause such a massacre and take people as hostages possibly be supported?

How can such large numbers of students be indoctrinated – particularly in the internet age of information ?

How, how, how? Hell, they’re not even taking drugs like we did.

I have to assume that somewhere, some left activists are spreading around a raft of “evidence” purporting to document a compendium of genocidal crimes committed by Israel and the IDF prior to October 7. You know, like the venerable “Protocols.” And the kids, being stupid kids and ruled by their feelz, are eating it up. (“Imagine no possessions… a brotherhood of man…”) And we don’t see that “evidence” because we read things like Legal Insurrection, not Marxism Today or Mother Jones.

I, too, am of that age cohort, and I distinctly remember complimentary issues of China Today left in a stack in the dorm’s mailbox area, for students to take back to their rooms with them. The cover was always a giant portrait of Chairman Mao, with his iconic wart — a fixed heroic structure if there ever was one — lovingly airbrushed away… in consonance with the leftist principle: when reality sucks, just remake its map to be prettier.

I think people keep trying to compare the 1960’s students protests with today’s protests and they really aren’t’ comparable. The 60’s students were literally watching their friends and family die in Vietnam and yes were subject to the draft themselves. Those students were really questioning authority and the status quo. Today’s protests are not “anti-war” they are pro-violence and hatred. They are more comparable to the pograms of the 1920’s and 1930’s in Russia, Poland, Austria, Hungary and Germany. You are looking at indoctrinated liberals who have no real maturity, have not been tested with real world conflict, and have no idea what their communist ideas really represent or mean. They are instead lonely immature kids who have been shuttered away and forced on the internet during COVID. They have no idea how to socialize form networks or have any sense of belonging, purpose, identity or self esteem. Hatred and violence are easy to fall into when you are a lonely, anxious/sad and disconnected as these young people. They want some evil to blame for everything and some righteous cause to support, and so they are easy to manipulate and control.

These “protesters” are nothing more than privileged kids egged on by their privileged Middle Eastern fellow students. These “gatherings” are liberally salted with professional agitators.
This won’t stop until the ancient method of the “wood shampoo” is administered, followed by arrest, jailing, expulsion, financial restitution, and deportation.
None of the school administrations have the sack to pursue this remedy.

I do see. Administrators need to be fully exposed for the feckless Hamas-supporting Lefties they all are. I would be delighted for them to all be marched to the airfields for a one way helicopter ride. Pinochet was right about some things.
But I also want to see these little Hitler Youth bastards beaten to within an inch of their worthless lives. And then deported.

Is mustard gas still available?

Blacks have been demanding segregation, Muslims self segregate. They seem to support each other. We should accept those fully assimilate, who actually demonstrate love for America.

Those who are not an asset should expelled. How do we make that happen?

Leftist groups like the KKK, Antifa, the Covidians, and now the antisemitic “Palestinian” terrorists luuuuuuv masks!
