Rutgers
The pro-Hamas mob at Rutgers took over Voorhees Mall.
Those people forced the school to cancel final exams due to the disturbance.
The school told them they have until 4 PM ET to vacate the building:
“This morning, we met again with the students representing the protest, again expressing our concerns for safety and student success, and informed them that their tents need to be removed from Voorhees Mall by 4 pm today,” the message said.
“The safety of our students and their academic success are our highest priorities,” it continued. “Exams previously scheduled for this morning are being rescheduled or relocated, and the protest area on Voorhees Mall and any other places where University business is conducted will be cleared of all protesters for the remainder of the semester.”

This serves a secondary “teachable moment”. While at difference with the Establishment Dems…. these foot soldiers will be ready to join Antifa (if not already) and BLM to “fortify” the elections.
I fully expect to see a pack of them outside a polling place making sure that only the approved sort of person gets inside.
A la the Black Panthers?
Florida has this right:
-Protect protesters.
-Arrest criminals who break the law.
-Apply the law decently and without bias.
California has this wrong:
-Protect protesters (as long as they are the correct variety.)
-Arrest criminals who break the law, (as long as they are not a protected class.)
-Apply the law wherever you need to punish people who are not a protected class, and pass on any criminal action otherwise.
New York is looking to be somewhere between those two points.
What should we do with Hamas protesters?
Do to them what Hamas did to babies!
What’s that? Give them a bottle? No.
Give them a pacifier? No.
Change their diaper? No.
Put them in an appliance? You’re getting warmer.
You mean “put them in a gas oven?”
Only if it’s turned on
Oh my! Is that what they did? I had no idea.
Sorry, this is so wrong. Jail them, fine them, apply the law to the fullest extent. But what Hamas did was savagery on par with any other animalistic massacre. These kids are assholes and idiots but we’re not animals.
are you saying that winning WW2 by the Americans was wrong?
made the USA animals?
Depends who wins.
Are you trying to equate Nazi Germany military with protestors armed with what zip ties!?
Precisely. I hate Hamas as much as anyone else. But if you think taking Palestinians to concentration camps, gassing them, and then burning them in ovens is the solution, then you are not supporting Israel. You are a supporter of Hamas and the radical Islamists.
Exactly, JR.

Everything at Rutgers seems to be named Voorhees. I’d guess a donor of some kind.
Dennison U in Ohio had a women’s dorm named Beaver Hall which can only be accounted for as a donor’s name. It’s since been repurposed though I don’t know if it’s been renamed.
These demonstrations need a sound track.. I think Shostakovich’s 8th string quartet, written about the consequences of fascism (Shostakovich said all fascism but he may have been tweaking the Soviet Union).

All the messaging here and in linked prior statement from the UCLA chancellor are slanted in favor of the pro-Hamas encampment. He really regrets that it had to go, because of the violence inflicted against it.
He doesn’t mention the “campers” beating a Jewish student unconscious.
Always looking to excuse as much violence against Jews as he can get away with. F Gene Block!
All of these chancellors believe – and rightfully so – that going against the Hamas / BLM / DIE / SJP types means riots, arson, shootings, and worse.
They further think, “What will the Jews do about it? They will complain, whine to whomever will listen to them, and above all, will not fight back.
Decision made.
