Kevin O’Leary Blasts Biden Student Loan Debt Bailouts as Unfair

“It is un-American in a sense that there are many people who have already paid back their student loans and cohorts in the past, those in the future that still may not get this.”

Everyone knows why Biden is doing this. It’s all about votes.

FOX News reports:

Kevin O’Leary torches Biden student loan handout as ‘unfair’ and ‘un-American’: ‘I really really hate this’

“Shark Tank” host and business leader Kevin O’Leary railed against the Biden administration’s latest round of student debt handouts after the White House announced it would relieve debt for more than 160,000 borrowers.

“I hate this, I really, really hate this,” O’Leary said Wednesday on “The Story.”

“This is a very difficult pill to swallow for people that understand when you borrow money you have to pay it back,” he added. “Particularly, for those who do not understand why a selected group of individuals in history get a free ride. This is so un-American, it is so unfair, it is so inconsistent with the values we made people for over 100 years understand.”

The Education Department announced that it will erase $7.7 billion in federal student loans, marking a total of $167 billion in student debt forgiveness for nearly 5 million Americans through several programs.

The “Mr. Wonderful” star said he finds it unfair that taxpayers are being forced to foot the bill for well-off college graduates while others have worked hard to pay off their loans.

“I am a taxpayer, I don’t like this,” O’Leary said. “I don’t think it is fair. It is un-American in a sense that there are many people who have already paid back their student loans and cohorts in the past, those in the future that still may not get this. People that never got to go to college because they figured they could not afford it, it is so unfair.”

The old liberals used to be all about “fairness” and fair play, but the new generation of leftists is all about socialist parasitism on the country.

I paid my loans off, my mortgage and car loan too. I never expected some socialist payoff so I could sponge off the country.

What lesson do these punks learn? That they can walk away from a signed contract? That debt obligations are optional? That they don’t have to think about making bad decisions and their consequences?

A true generation swaddled in infantilism is being produced, thanks to the socialist/communists and Dear Leader Biden.

    ?????????

the left wing has ALWAYSSSSSS been about government over the people

    THATTTT is socialism>>>tyranny

some on the left talked a good game of freedom(s) but that was the exact same kind of talk that we hear now

    they call it equity

when a dem talked about fairness for allllll

then that was the actions/words of a capitalist

one might even have called them dinos

    again

the left has alwaysss been about government over the people

It’s just paying off the liberal donor base at taxpayer expense. It’s lovely how the doctor can do that when the executive branch doesn’t control the money.

Unfair? How about illegal given that scotus already opined on this matter 11 months ago, and said JoeBama doesn’t have the authority to forgive such debt.

Law of the land! The court has ruled! Law of the land!

Ain’t that what lefties scream when baby murder gets legalized, and sodomy decriminalized, etc.?

But apparently there are new rules. When scotus opines against lefties they can just ignore scotus.

The court has ruled! But meh. Whatever. Got it.

how many divisions does the USSC
have to enforce their ruling …
    /liberal mindset.

just wait till these people buy more house / car / whatever
then they can afford … they think
the govt is gonna fix that for em too.

They’re trading their college debt. for generational debt. Although I suspect most of the ones getting the freebie are generationally wealthy from mommy and daddy.
I suspect there are a lot of non college folks who understand this perfectly. Hopefully they get pizzed off at the dems.

All of it is, IMO BS, with possible exception of the diploma mill, fly by night operations. Though given the relative worthlessness of many ‘X studies’ degrees conferred by ‘legit’ Colleges and Universities the distinction isn’t as large as some.would maintain.

As I understand it most of this round is going to those who were Pell grant eligible so IOW not ‘trust fund babies’ but no question it is an attempt to buy votes. The beneficiaries are going to be overwhelmingly women and women ‘of color’ in particular. Both groups which Biden must retain to have a shot at re-election.

On Memorial Day can the Biden WH please explain how this is equitable to the Veterans and their families who made extraordinary sacrifices to EARN the GI Bill to use for College funding? Further how will this forgiveness of student loans impact military recruiting when the WH is devaluing the GI Bill as a recruitment incentive?

Perhaps this is part of Biden’s Green New Deal, “Money grows on trees.”

The loan debt bailouts are theft, pure and simple.

It’s criminal. How can Biden just erase debt?
How about Trump promising to end VA home loans?
