Will Jewish Democrats Finally Wake Up?

Will Jewish Democrats Finally Wake Up?

“How many of the thousands of individuals who gathered in Times Square on Oct. 8, 2023 and chanted ‘resistance is justified’ and “glory to our martyrs” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?”

Columnist Jonathan Bronitsky is calling for this to happen, in light of all the recent events.

He writes at the Jewish News Syndicate:

Jewish Democrats, wake up!

This is addressed to you, my fellow Jews, since most of you are Democrats.

You’ve heard from liberal colleagues that Tucker Carlson (whose show you’ve never watched) has been flirting with antisemites. You’ve been told by liberal friends that Candace Owens (whose show you’ve never watched) has been picking fights with Ben Shapiro (whose show you’ve never watched). From CNN and MSNBC, you know that a pack of guys with citronella tiki torches marched through Charlottesville while shouting “Jews will not replace us.”

And that’s why you’re convinced there are far more antisemites on the right than there are on the left.

I wish to pose several questions:

How many of the thousands of individuals who gathered in Times Square on Oct. 8, 2023 and chanted “resistance is justified” and “glory to our martyrs” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?

How many of the individuals who barricaded Jewish students inside Cooper Union’s library on Oct. 25, 2023, pounded on the doors and carried signs that read “Zionism hands off our universities” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?

How many of the thousands of individuals who rallied in Manhattan on Dec. 25, 2023 and carried banners emblazoned with the words “by any means necessary” and “resistance until return” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?

How many of the thousands of individuals who assembled at Columbia University on Feb. 2 and shouted “Globalize the intifada” and “Death to the Zionist state” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?

How many of the individuals who amassed in Dearborn, Michigan on April 5 and yelled “death to America” and “death to Israel” are registered Republican voters and plan to cast their ballots for Donald Trump?

Ideology frequently trumps common sense, except when survival is at stake. I think for a lot of folks it’s going to be a very close call.

Too many folk do not realize when survival is at stake.
So many people do not know when survival is at stake, even when evidence is shouting in their faces.

How many would not have realized that the 2016 election was the “Flight 93 election” but for
Publius Decius Mus (a/k/a) Michael Anton’s great article: https://claremontreviewofbooks.com/digital/the-flight-93-election/ ?

How many still did not realize it?

2024 is another “charge the cockpit or you die” election.

The question you ask is incomprehensible.
The troublesome people are loony Marxist Democrats.
The Jews vote for the Other Party — the Merely Far Leftist Democrats.

To answer the question in the headline: no.

Agreed. I have a good friend who is Jewish (secular) extremely intelligent, a veteran, was a very good athlete, retired professor from one of the most elite Ivy League schools. However, when it comes to politics, he is rabidly anti Trump and anti GOP.

He would never consider listening to Victor David Hanson or Professor Jacobson or any news source outside of approved liberal group think outlets like the NYT, MSNBC or CNN.

It is undeniable that anti-semitism exists on both ends of the political spectrum. The striking difference is that Republicans have made great strides in suppressing and removing antisemites from having any influence in their party; however, the Democrats have encouraged, financed, and spread antisemitism on a grand scale. Jews, who continue to support the Left and the Democrats, are in partnership with an organized criminal syndicate that will eventually seize sufficient power to annihilate the Jews. That, my friends, is the true danger we all face because after the Jews come the Christians.

“Intimidation is the tactic,” said Adam Smith of Washington state, the ranking Democrat on the House armed services committee. “Intimidation and an effort to silence opposition … I don’t know if there’s such a thing as leftwing fascism. If you want to just call it leftwing totalitarianism, then that’s what it is. It is a direct challenge to representative democracy now.”

The “BLM” and “In our America …” yard signs/window placards were handed out to the local “block Marxist” who then took them around the neighborhood and offered them to people with the implied message that “they would be seen as a white supremacist if they didn’t display it in their yard/business.” Don’t believe me. Ask someone where they bought their BLM sign. It was a multi million $$ investment in that Shakedown industry which worked quite well given how much money they got back. BTW, in Portland, you can tell where the ghetto begins because there are no BLM signs. They only exist in whitetopia.

Maybe a few. Out in my white suburb (and it is very white) there are a few BLM and “hate has no home here” BLM-supporting signs. Most people have no signs, there are no Trump signs, and there are a few of those pro-BLM signs. We’re pretty far from public transportation so I don’t think there’s too much fear of BLM attacking us.

Those with the signs are probably doing it out of some sort of true belief. Mind-boggling, but there it is.

I think some of them, a significant number, are waking up. The situation within the Jewish community is improving. We have a long way to go, but we are beginning on the path.

If this kind of screaming for blood goes mainstream, history suggests it doesn’t end well.
