Biden Demands Unilateral Israeli Ceasefire, Aides Do Damage Control

Prime Minister Netanyahu: “We will complete the elimination of Hamas’s battalions, including in Rafah. No force in the world will stop us.”

A day after Hamas indicated that it may have murdered most of the remaining hostages abducted on October 7, President Joe Biden is telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “just call for a ceasefire” — unliterally and without linking it to the release of the captive Israelis.

“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,” Biden said in an interview with he Spanish-language TV channel Univision.

Biden also criticized Netanyahu for going ahead with the military operation against Hamas’s remaining terrorist fighting force in Gaza. “I think what he’s doing is a mistake,” he told Univision. “I don’t agree with his approach.”

Defying Biden, Netanyahu on Tuesday vowed to enter Rafah, the last standing Hamas stronghold in Gaza. “We will complete the elimination of Hamas’s battalions, including in Rafah. No force in the world will stop us,” he assured.

The Reuters reported Biden’s comments:

The White House said last week that the president, in a call with Netanyahu, threatened to make conditional, opens new tab U.S. support for Israel’s offensive on it taking concrete steps to protect aid workers and civilians. (…)

“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,” Biden said in Tuesday’s interview. (…)

The United States has traditionally shielded Israel in the U.N. Security Council and vetoed three draft resolutions on the war in Gaza. It abstained last month when the Security Council demanded an immediate ceasefire.

Report: IDF strike eliminates three sons of Hamas terror chief Haniyeh

According to Arab news outlets on Wednesday, an alleged Israeli strike eliminated three sons of Ismail Haniyeh.

Haniyeh’s other family members were also killed in the strike. The Times of Israel cites Arab media reports saying “several of their children, Haniyeh’s grandchildren, were also killed in the strike.”

The IDF does not have a policy of targeting the family members of the terrorists. Hamas chief’s daughter has been receiving medical treatment in Israel despite the ongoing military operation in response to the October 7 massacre.

Haniyeh, who is seen as the overall chief of Hamas, has been living a life of safety and luxury in Qatar while directing a campaign of terror against Israel.

An apparently staged clip circulating on social media show the Hamas terror chief praising ‘Allah’ for the ‘martyrdom’ of his family. It is unclear if the footage was taken sometime after the news was broken to him.

The newspaper Israel Hayom reported:

Three sons of Hamas leader leader Ismail Haniyeh were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza, Hamas-affiliated news agency Shehab said on Wednesday.

IDF exit, more ‘humanitarian aid’ rewards Hamas and diminishes chances of hostage release

The large-scale withdrawal of Israeli troops and the ramping up of ‘humanitarian aid’ entering Gaza may further embolden Hamas. These unilateral Israeli compromises, extracted by the Biden administration, reduce Hamas’s desire to release of the remaining hostages — including 5 Americans, a recent Israeli report suggests.

Under pressure from the Biden White House, Jerusalem gave up “strong bargaining chips for nothing,” an unnamed Israeli official said. The measures that weaken the Israeli position, “really hurt negotiations,” he cautioned.

The Times of Israel reported Wednesday:

A report claims Israeli officials are blaming the pullback of troops from Khan Younis and the surge in humanitarian aid reaching the Strip for the expected failure of hostage-truce talks in Cairo, saying Hamas won’t compromise after getting so much for free.

According to the Ynet news site, officials in Jerusalem think both moves “really hurt negotiations.”

“We gave up our strong bargaining chips for nothing,” and now Hamas’s position is even tougher to crack, Ynet quotes “Israeli sources” saying. “Hamas is digging in with its demands for an end to a war and a troop withdrawal, and is determined to play tricks with the mediators.”

The moves are thought by some to be the result of US pressure as President Joe Biden’s administration has taken a tougher line against Israeli operations in the Strip and the pace of aid, threatening to pull back support.

IDF hits Hamas terror targets in Gaza

After withdrawing most of the ground troops from Gaza over the weekend, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued counter-terror strikes across the terrorist-infested enclave.

“IDF troops are continuing to operate in the central Gaza Strip and killed a number of terrorists over the past day. During a close-quarters encounter, IDF troops killed a terrorist cell that posed a threat to the troops,” the Israeli military said in a press release Wednesday morning. “Over the past day, IDF fighter jets and aircraft struck dozens of terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including military sites, launchers, tunnel shafts, and infrastructure.”

Defense Minister Gallant warns Iran of  ‘powerful response’ if Israel attacked

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant vowed to deliver ‘power response’ if Iran or any of its allies tried to attack Israel. The warning comes amid intelligence reports that Tehran is planning a ‘direct attack’ on Israel, likely using swarms of kamikaze drones and missiles after an alleged Israeli airstrike last week eliminated several high-level Islamic Guards (IRGC) ‘generals’ in Syria.

The Israeli TV channel i24News reported:

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant appeared to echo the earlier statement made by Foreign Minister Israel Katz, vowing to respond directly to any attack against Israel.

While visiting the Iron Dome battery stationed in northern Israel, Gallant said: “In this war we are being attacked on more than one front, from different directions. Any enemy that tries to attack us will first of all meet a strong defense. We will know how to react very quickly with a decisive offensive action against the territory of whoever attacks our territory, no matter where it is, in the entire Middle East.”

Earlier in the day, Iran’s Supreme Leader vowed to “punish” Israel for its alleged strike near the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,”

It’s just fifteen days to flatten your people’s future.

“I think what he’s doing is a mistake,” he told Univision. “I don’t agree with his approach.”

Well then, Bibi should be doubly reassured. Biden NEVER chooses the right option.

Funny how Joe always sides with the enemies of humanity, isn’t it?

Indeed. But, it’s not merely crime boss, Biden, doing so — it’s the entire vile and evil Dhimmi-crat Party and its wretched apparatchiks, who never met a goose-stepping, totalitarian and evil regime or ideology that it didn’t dutifully and gleefully whitewash, appease, enable, kowtow to and show deference to.

They have paid him for his service

I suppose vile Biden’s and the Dhimmi-crats’ servile, obsequious and deferential attitude towards the evil, Islamofascist, Muslim supremacist, Hamas thugs, would be harsher and more demanding, if Hamas had murdered, raped, tortured and kidnapped American citizens.

Oh, wait a minute…

Oh, and, as far as eliminating the family of that terrorist thug leader, who is enjoying protection from the wretched Qatari regime, while in self-imposed exile — good. No terrorist’s family members should be off-limits from retaliation. If you choose a life of genocidal Islamofascism and terrorism that is committed to visiting atrocities upon innocent civilians, then, your family members should fairly be turned into targets, in return.

Turnabout is fair play. The Code of Hammurabi. Take your pick.

Milhouse in reply to guyjones. | April 11, 2024 at 7:20 am

No, that is not right. If the family members are innocent, it is wrong to target them just because they’re related to a monster. That’s “you killed my grandmother so I will kill your grandmother”, which is monstrous and nothing can justify it.

In this case, the three sons who were eliminated were not innocent. They were terrorists themselves, and thus legitimate targets. Their children who were killed with them may have been innocent, but they were not the targets, they were just collateral damage, which is acceptable in war. The laws of war allow attacks that put innocent civilians at risk, so long as that risk is proportionate to the military benefit expected from the attack. The benefit of eliminating these three terrorists justified the risk to their innocent children. But it would have been utterly wrong to target them, and nothing their fathers or grandfather could do could make it right.

“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,”
IOW, lift the siege. Because that’s how you defeat your enemy. Oy vey.

And, just ponder how thoroughly infested this Gaza terrorist and Islamofascist enclave is, with terrorism infrastructure, materiel and terrorists. Six months of intensive IDF battles, and, these cockroaches and their tunnels are still being discovered and destroyed.

I don’t hear any criticism from the Hamas-loving media in Europe and in the U.S., regarding the Gazan Fakestinians’ total dedication to Islamic “holy war,” and, their squandering of hundreds of billions of dollars of international aid money, to achieve that goal.

TBH I don’t see how the Israeli govt gave up very much ‘negotiating leverage’ by pausing ground operations and pulling back. They are still running air strikes based on intelligence, still have the ability to monitor movements of Hamas leadership and conduct strikes v targets of .opportunity. Their ground forces can use the time to do unit level PMCS on their equipment and catch some downtime before they resume ground operations.

Hamas just basically admitted they don’t have the ability to deliver captives to Israel which would be the basis for any meaningful negotiations. Without the ability to return captives what exactly is Hamas going to provide to Israel? IMO, the Israeli govt is making lemonade out lemons with this operational pause. All the squishy/touchy feely ‘what about the children of Gaza’ types much less the pro Hamas degenerates have in essence a ‘ceasefire’ but now the impetus for maintaining the pause or further negotiations is on Hamas to deliver the captives. When don’t it becomes much more clear to the less ideological that Hamas is full of crap, doesn’t negotiate in good faith, and deserves every bit of the hell coming their way when the pause lifts. The ‘ innocent civilians’ of Gaza have the option to rise up and throw off Hamas but they won’t because they support and assist Hamas so they also made a bad choice that will carry harsh consequences. Eff em.

There was a ceasefire the morning of 10/7. Hamas broke it. They shouldn’t get another.

Must be an election coming up and Biden can see the poll numbers in MI. That he would stab our ally in the back to help himself is not surprising for a corrupt, venal professional useless person like himself. I wonder if Iran sweetened the deal with a few bucks

The Big Guy is angry he didn’t get his 10%, and he is retaliating.

Since 1968, Republican presidential candidates have received an average of 26% of the Jewish vote. Trump won 24% in 2016 and 30% in 2020 which tied Romney for the highest % of the Jewish vote (for a GOP candidate) since 1988. It will be interesting to see what that percentage is this fall. Have American Jews put their hand on the Democrat stove enough to have finally learned their lesson?

alaskabob in reply to TargaGTS. | April 10, 2024 at 12:52 pm

Ah… I doubt it. I like Dennis Prager’s point that it was easier for him (in earlier times) to eat a ham sandwich than vote Republican. It is a cultural taboo for many to “leave” the Dem Party.

guyjones in reply to TargaGTS. | April 10, 2024 at 3:21 pm

Fair enough to mention the stats of American Jews’ voting habits/preferences. But, the more relevant question to ask is, are their votes deciding elections? The answer is, no. Not only because American Jews are a statistically paltry segment of the voting-age electorate, but, because most of them live in solidly “blue” states that would never vote for a GOP candidate (e.g., New York, California, Massachusetts).

The reality is, it’s not American Jews who are helping to elect these wretched Dhimmi-crat presidents, no matter how large a portion of the Jewish vote is handed to Dhimmi-crats — it’s the votes of American Christians. That’s the statistical reality. So, the Christians who are voting for Dhimmi-crats need to answer for that.

TargaGTS in reply to guyjones. | April 10, 2024 at 6:06 pm

True. Their votes aren’t deciding many competitive races, at least outside of some Florida and perhaps NY Districts. But, their money is a gigantic tool for Democrats. A few years ago – during Trump’s 1st term – JPost calculated that American Jews represent roughly half of all donations to Democrats. I can’t remember what the percentage was for Republicans. But, it wasn’t insignificant, maybe 20% or more. Still, far less than the Democrat haul.

Milhouse in reply to guyjones. | April 11, 2024 at 7:25 am

Democrat Jews will not leave the Democrat Kibbutz as they hate Israel just as much as they hate America.

How about ceasing your fire against Trump?

Biden lied about “good people on both sides.” The reason he ran. Now, calls of death to Jews and America, silence! The naked, corrupt, reflexive emperor exposed again. No wonder why Obama chose him.

Does anyone believe anything that Hamas says anyway?

Biden is telling Israel to stop defending itself when attacked.

There is a U.S. election in November. It would be helpful to hear what the vulnerable Dem candidates have to say about the recent dark news of the remaining hostages, and Biden’s unilateral cease-fire proposal.

This is Judge Napolitano’s YouTube site.

It seems that every single day he is bashing Israel for its many crimes and bashing the USA for funding Israel.

I know several Trump supporters who agree with the Judge.

Also, it appears as if the lame stream media is now drinking their Hamas Kool-Aid.

Israel needs to a better job educating Ameria.

Once it became clear that G.I.s we’re getting killed and wounded, and the t.v. images on the evening news were not nice …….

thennnnn. the Judge Nap types and the Tucker Carlsons became vocal “It’s not a legally declared war” “Why are we there? We need to fix our own cities.” “Ho Chi Minh is actually a Jeffersonian democrat in his heart.”

One small question.. Will the White House staff be able to recall the missiles after Brandon thinks the Nuclear Football is Hunter’s laptop and he wants to see some pictures?

First of all, it’s not within the president’s purview to order around foreign leaders. He can State his position and make request, but that’s not the same thing. What this is going to accomplish is to make the old pedophile lookWhat this is going to accomplish is to make the old pedophile look even weaker when Netanyahu refuses to play along.

He thinks he’s already the head of the globalist rulers.
Also, Biden has always been an a**hole – long before dementia set in. So it’s not surprising he’d order someone around over whom he actually had no authority.

He does what Barky’s minions tell him to say.

President Biden wants a cease fire to provide aid to the residing Palestinians in Gaza. Why then is the American Red Cross not requiring the International Red Cross to answer questions as to why what Americans who have supported our chapter is not reaching the intended and directed as a requirement by the Geneva Convention:

Stated in the recap of what our donations to our American Red Cross fund and for redistribution by the International Red Cross for international disasters is sending financial assistance, pre-positioned relief supplies inclusive of basic food, water, and shelter from our global warehouses which are administered by emergency response personnel affiliated with the International Red Cross designations as are The Red Crescent and its affiliate The Red Crystal in the Middle East. These Red Cross emblems are universally recognized symbols of assistance for the victims of war and disaster. The Geneva Convention and the Additional Protocols spell out how The Red Cross, Red Crescent and Red Crystal are used to protect people, vehicles and structures during war as well as identify routine humanitarian services within a country. International humanitarian law also specifies the use, size, purpose and placing of the emblems as well as the penalties for misuse.
Also stated is a statement in regards to Gaza:
Needs are vast, and a tiny trickle of aid is getting through. Teams from the Palestine Red Crescent Society, Egyptian Red Crescent Society and ICRC stand ready to basics – food, water, shelter – to where it is needed. What has come to light is that the International Red Cross which is aiding the Egyptian/Palestine Red Crescent Society have staffing consisting of Hamas terrorists who have and are redirecting the aid of food, water and medical intended for the Palestinians and put into the centers of where the Hamas troops have their camps to support the daily life of the terrorists. This knowledge has been divulged as results of interrogation of the large number of prisoners being taken and held by IFD who have attested to how they are treated and perform under the direction of Hamas leaders. The thought that the Geneva Convention does no good, nor the United Nations neither, if money which is placed in the donations to the American Red Cross are than in part sent on to support Hamas goals of annihilating Israel as is their stated goals. To date there have been NO specifics stated as to what charges of the governing penalties by the misuse by Palestine Red Crescent Society and the re-direction of allowing Hamas to staff the aid provided not reaching the people for which it was intended.

Is Biden trying to start WWIII? Because if he is, it’s about the only thing he’s being successful at.

Time for Jewish voters everywhere but particularly in swing states like PA and MI to wake up and repay Biden for his appeasement of the far left element of the Democrat Party. Don’t vote out of habit, follow the lead of other identity politics groups like Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and young people in changing your party alignment. Are you better off now and safer than you were four years ago?:
