Hamas Commander on ‘Top Ten’ List Among Several High-Level Terrorists Eliminated in Shifa Hospital Raid, Israel Reveals
Israeli airstrikes reportedly also kill several Hezbollah commanders in Lebanon and Syria.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), assisted by country’s security service Shin Bet, managed to capture and kill several senior Hamas and Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists during the ongoing raid on Gaza city’s Shifa Hospital, official Israeli sources confirm.
Though the identity of most of the killed and captured terrorists have not been disclosed, the Shin Bet named Raad Thabet, listed as one of the top wanted-terrorist leaders in Gaza, among those eliminated in the riad on Shifa. Thabet was head of Hamas’s supplies and logistics, Israel media reports suggest.
“Thabet was in the top ten of Hamas, close to Sinwar, D[ei]f, and Issa,” IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said, referring to Hamas’s Gaza chief Yahya Sinwar, his deputy Mohammed Deif and recently slain Hamas commander Marwan Issa. Sinwar and Deif are believed to be holed up in the last-standing Hamas stronghold of Rafah.
Gaza largest hospital Shifa, which has a capacity of between 500 and 900 beds, was combed by the IDF in mid-November. After Israeli troops left the hospital, Hamas and PIJ terrorists swarmed the compound and underlying tunnels — thinking Israel will not retake the site given the international outcry. They were caught off guard as IDF on March 18 launched a surprise raid on the terrorist-infested hospital.
With the raid on Shifa Hospital entering its 12th day, the IDF continued to weed out terrorists hiding in the compound. “The IDF and ISA are continuing the precise operational activity in the area of the Shifa Hospital while mitigating harm to civilians, patients, medical teams, and medical equipment,” the IDF said in a press release on Saturday morning. “Over the past day, the troops have eliminated terrorists and located weapons and terrorist infrastructure in the area.”

The Times of Israel reported the killing of Thabet and other high-profile terrorists in Shifa raid:
The IDF and Shin Bet security agency name additional senior Hamas operatives killed by troops at Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital in recent days.
Troops have been raiding buildings at the hospital complex, following intelligence indicating that top officials in the terror group are holed up there.
In one incident, the IDF says troops of the Navy’s Shayetet 13 unit, Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion and Duvdevan unit encountered and killed a group of armed Hamas operatives who ran out of Shifa’s emergency room.
Among them was senior Hamas commander Raad Thabet — named by the IDF on Thursday as the head of the terror group’s recruitment and supply acquisition — and Mahmoud Khalil Zakzuk, who the IDF says is the deputy commander of Hamas’s rocket unit in Gaza City.
In another incident, troops of the Nahal Brigade’s reconnaissance killed senior Hamas operatives Fadi Dweik and Zakaria Najib during a chase at Shifa’s maternity ward, according to the IDF.
The IDF and Shin Bet say Dweik was a senior member of Hamas’s intelligence division. He perpetrated the 2002 terrorist shooting attack in the West Bank settlement of Adora, killing four civilians, and was exiled to the Gaza Strip in the 2011 Shalit deal with Hamas, in which Israel released 1,027 Palestinian terror convicts in exchange for captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
The Israeli troops on the ground are coordinating with the air force to pin point strikes on Hamas terror targets across Gaza.
“IDF troops continue operational activities in central Gaza. In cooperation with the IAF, the troops eliminated a number of terrorists over the past day,” the IDF press release disclosed. “IDF ground troops and IAF forces are continuing activities in the areas of Al Amal and Al Qarara in Khan Yunis. Over the past day, the troops conducted targeted raids on terrorist infrastructure and eliminated terrorists during encounters and aerial strikes.”
Report: Israel airstrikes kill senior Hezbollah commanders in Lebanon, Syria
A series of alleged Israeli airstrikes in Syria and Lebanon on Friday eliminated several senior commanders belonging to Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group. Israel reportedly targeted a weapons depot in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, killing several Hezbollah and terrorist-linked Syrian forces.
“The U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition war monitor group, said Israeli strikes hit missile depots belonging to Lebanon’s militant Hezbollah group in Aleppo’s southern suburb of Jibreen, near the Aleppo International Airport, and the nearby town of Safira, home to a sprawling military facility,” the CBS News reported Friday. “The observatory said 36 Syrian troops, seven Hezbollah fighters and a Syrian member of an Iran-backed group died and dozens of people were wounded, calling it the deadliest such attack in years.”

The IDF acknowledged carrying out a drone strike that eliminated the deputy chief of Hezbollah’s rocket unit. “The IDF on Friday morning killed the deputy commander of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit, Ali Abed Akhsan Naim, in a drone attack on his vehicle in the area of Bazouriye in the Tyre Governorate of Lebanon,” the Israeli news website YNET reported.
Nearly 90,000 Israeli civilians have been forced to leave their homes in the north due to relentless Hezbollah rocket fire from Lebanon, figures released in February show. Many of them are “housed in collective shelters in precarious conditions,” the French newspaper Le Monde noted.

Israel carried out its deadliest strikes in months on northern Syria’s Aleppo province early on Friday and said it killed a senior Hezbollah commander in Lebanon, stepping up its campaign against Iran’s proxies in parallel with its war in Gaza.

The Israeli military said on Friday it had killed Ali Abed Akhsan Naim, deputy commander of Hezbollah’s rocket and missiles unit, in an airstrike in the area of Bazouriye in Lebanon.
It said he was one of the Iranian-backed militia’s leaders in heavy-warhead rocket fire and said he was responsible for conducting and planning attacks against Israeli civilians.
IDF denies Lebanese claim it struck UN peacekeeping vehicle
Rejecting Lebanese claims, the IDF denied conducting a cross-border strike that hit a vehicle belonging to the United Nations peacekeeping force. Three UN peacekeepers and a translator were reportedly injured in a blast on Saturday while patrolling in the Hezbollah-dominated area.

The Israel Defense Forces on Saturday denied carrying out a strike in southern Lebanon against a vehicle with United Nations peacekeepers, after Lebanese security officials accused it of targeting the car.
“Contrary to reports, the IDF did not attack a [UN] vehicle in the Rmeish area this morning,” the military said in a statement.
Two unnamed security sources accused Israel of the strike in comments to Reuters, saying it took place outside the southern Lebanese border town of Rmeish. A source told Reuters the car was carrying three UN technical observers and one Lebanese translator when it was struck.
Released captive: Hamas moved hostages in ambulances to evade IDF
As released Israeli hostages open up about their ordeal in Gaza captivity, new details of Hamas’s disregard for Israeli and Palestinian lives come to light. Hamas used ambulances to move hostages to evade advancing Israeli ground forces, former female hostage Hagar Brodutch told Israeli media.
The Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported the details:
Former hostage Hagar Brodutch has revealed harrowing details of her abduction and captivity by Hamas terrorists in Gaza, including the transportation of hostages in ambulances across the territory.
Brodutch, along with her three children and a three-year-old neighbor, were held captive for 51 days before being released.
The ordeal began on October 7 when Brodutch, residing in Kibbutz Kfar Azza, found her young neighbor, Abigail Idan, covered in her parents’ blood after Hamas terrorists fatally attacked them.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Brodutch recounted the traumatic experience of being taken hostage by Hamas militants.
According to Brodutch, they were transported to a new location in Gaza wrapped in white sheets inside an ambulance. During the journey, they witnessed the destruction of their village and the celebration of their capture by thousands of Gazans. The terrorists showcased Brodutch and her daughter to the cheering crowd, boasting of their abduction of an Israeli girl.
On October 7, Hagar Brodutch was kidnapped to Gaza with her 3 young children and orphaned Avigail Idan. 14 armed terrorists barged into her Kfar Azza home, shouting in Arabic and forced them into a car.

I hope the IDF is selective about taking prisoners. In particular, they should not take prisoners absent unconditional surrender. These are people who have ostentatiously sworn to attack Israel in the same fashion as they have just done. Unless they give up that goal, they should be eliminated.
To be taken as a prisoner they should have to get down on their knees and beg forgiveness from Jesus. Their declaration should be recorded and posted in the net.
