Ex-Trump CEO Allen Weisselberg Expected to Plead Guilty For Civil Case Trial Perjury

Reports indicate he will plead guilty to perjury charges for testimony during former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial.

Ex-Trump CEO Allen Weisselberg surrendered to the Manhattan DA office this morning. Reports indicate he will plead guilty to perjury charges for testimony during former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial.

From NBC News:

Weisselberg was not expected to enter into a cooperation agreement with the plea that would require his testimony at any future trial, one source familiar with the matter said. Weisselberg arrived at the Manhattan district attorney’s office before 7 a.m. and is expected to make the plea this morning.

Seth Rosenberg, an attorney for Weisselberg, and Trump lawyer Alina Habba did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney’s office also did not immediately provide comment.

It is unclear what specific charges Weisselberg will plead guilty to. His plea comes after reports that he had been in negotiations to plead guilty to perjury for allegedly lying when he took the stand during Trump’s civil fraud trial last year. During his testimony, Weisselberg was grilled about various financial statements he approved.

Weisselberg pleaded guilty to numerous tax-related charges in August 2022.

The DA office accused Weisselberg and the organization “of orchestrating a scheme in which some executives were compensated with special off-the-books perks. Mr. Weisselberg, the prosecutors said, avoided paying taxes on $1.76 million of his income over the last 15 years.”

Gosh, it’s almost like he knows that he can’t get a fair trial in NYC, so he’s ‘pleading guilty’ to avoid a long, expensive trial where he’s found guilty regardless of any actual facts.

Over 15 years, income, not tax understated by $1,760,000.

What a joke, most of it is imputed from the deemed value of perks to boot. Criminal statute of limitations is 6 years.

Compare with what these SOBs let Hunter get away with.

It was plagiarism, not perjury.

Seems we have the real reason for the trial right here. Nothing like a little extortion from someone down the food chain to get the real target (Trump).

So roughly the same thing the Disney Reedy Creek executives and employees were gigged for: Collecting unreported perks that the parent company wrote off as expenses. We all remember how many of the Reedy Creek board members were marched off to jail in handcuffs there. None. (although Reedy Creek–Now Central Florida Tourism Oversight District–had to cough up the missing tax revenue and say “oops, won’t happen again.:)

Well the IRS better get after Hunter and the Biden Crime Family for raking in Chinese and Ukrainians payoffs.
