Hamas Reportedly Will Reject Israeli Ceasefire Offer, Wants More Terrorists Freed in Hostage Deal

As always, Hamas increased its demands even as it is losing on the battlefield.

Hamas reportedly will reject an Israeli ceasefire offer in exchange for hostages, Arab and Israeli news outlets report Sunday evening. The terrorist group made additional demands, calling for the release of more terrorists from Israeli prisons in return for 136 hostages.

Hamas “rejected the proposed hostage deal formulated in Paris, demanding that Israel release more Palestinian terrorists locked up in Israeli jails,” the Israeli TV channel; i24NEWS reported citing a Saudi newspaper. The deal, backed by the Biden administration, would have enabled a long-term truce in Gaza and seen the return of Israeli hostages in multiple stages.

In early December, Hamas broke a ceasefire when it refused to release female hostages and resumed attacks of Israeli troops. Under the previous deal, Israel released hundreds of convicted terrorist and murders to secure the freedom of around 100 hostages taken into captivity in the wake of the October 7 terror attacks.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

Hamas is set to reject on Sunday evening the Gaza hostage and ceasefire deal proposed in Paris last week, Saudi outlet Al-Arabiya reported.

According to the report, the terror organization is set to demand an increase in the number of Palestinian terrorists released from Israeli prisons.

Israel won’t agree to pay any price to return the over 130 hostages held in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his government hours before Hamas was expected to deliver its response to the framework of an agreement reached in Paris last week.

“Efforts to free our abductees continue all the time,” Netanyahu said at the weekly meeting held in Tel Aviv amid reports that the Hamas response at 7 p.m. was likely to request the release of many Palestinians jailed for killing Israelis.

“We will not agree to any deal, and not at any price.” Many things that are said in the media as if we agreed to them, such as what is related to the release of terrorists, we simply will not agree to,” Netanyahu said.

IDF closes in on Hamas’ terrorist leadership

Meanwhile, the Israeli military is closing in on Hamas leadership, believed to hiding in the southern Gaza stronghold of Khan Younis. The remaining Israeli hostages, including women and children, are being used as human shields to slow down the Israeli advance.

Hamas has no regards for Palestinian civilian lives as well. Many of Hamas’s terror commanders and operatives are hiding among civilians in Khan Younis as they plot and carry out attacks on Israeli troops, IDF sources say.

The Times of Israel reported Sunday:

The IDF has identified that Hamas operatives in the western Khan Younis area have been hiding among civilian shelters.

In recent days, some 120,000 Palestinians were evacuated from the Khan Younis camp via a humanitarian corridor established by the IDF. Among the 120,000 moving through the corridor, Givati Brigade troops nabbed some 500 terror suspects and handed them over to be questioned in Israel. Some are suspected of being involved in the October 7 attacks, according to military sources.

“The brigade is operating forcefully in western Khan Younis and managing to bring the terrorists out of their hiding places every day,” says brigade commander Col. Liron Betito.

Givati troops have killed an estimated 550 Hamas operatives in battles in the Khan Younis area in recent weeks, and another 250 in airstrikes directed by the brigade, sources say. Today alone, in the Khan Younis camp, Givati troops killed 14 gunmen.

Israel’s response: “Here’s the deal—you get no one back. In fact, five of your terrorist brethren will go “missing” every day until all hostages are released.”

In my dreams.

For every live hostage released, Hamas gets 5 dead terrorist bodies back. For every dead hostage returned, it’s 10 dead terrorist bodies back. Hamas are unlawful combatants, breaking every part of the law of war, they get no mercy.

Five is going entirely too easy on them.

I don’t think they’d offer to slow down to 5/day, nor should they.

Hamas has to try to get everything they want in one final deal, because they have few live hostages left to release. They have raped and murdered most of them, and this fact will be exposed if they agree to release “all” of the hostages.

They figured out that “We gave them to other terrorists” followed by “Those other guys got them killed by you” didn’t work.

Kill them all. Death to all Muslim terrorists and Islamofascists.

I thought muzzies desired martyrdom?? Why do muzzies care if their muzzie prisoners got killed in captivity?? The muzzie belief system is such a fraud.

Godspeed IDF (and IDF families back home — hard to imagine how they deal 🫡 )

Communicating with Hamas is becoming increasingly difficult. Pretty soon the only way to communicate with them will be through a medium.

There is nothing the negotiate over. Release ALL hostages and surrender.

That is the deal.

Stop trying to negotiate with evil and just destroy it.

I thank Hamas for rejecting the cease-fire, for saving Israel from the stupidity/evil proposal of Joe Biden.

I fear that the Hamas chiefs who were in Khan Younis on October 7, have already escaped.

Not a chance, leadership is long gone

hate to bring this up, I realy do, but would someone please tell me the differences between the Hamas hostages and the January 6th prisoners

Well, because you asked, here’s one person’s opinion:

The J6 prisoners of Nancy Pelosi will never receive justice, but most will survive (not all). If Trump’s elected, mostall J6ers will be pardoned.

The Oct7 prisoners of Hamas will also, I think, never receive justice, but most will not survive, unfortunately.

When the first atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima August 6 1945 there was a POW camp filled with Americans within the blast zone. Almost all of these Americans were killed.

Imho this is the ending that Hamas wants: to force upon the Israeli high command … to make the same choice that Truman and his high command had to make.

It’s all psychological. They are very good at the psychological warfare aspect of all their various wars against civilization.

It will have the inevitable effect of robbing the Israelis of much of the glory that might otherwise accrue in victory

It will force a certain amount of division within Israeli society — yelling, recriminations, shouting, finger-pointing, shoulda woulda coulda investigations

If Hitler had had Hamas running its Public Relations, we would all be speaking German today. Or Arabic. Or Farsi

They’re very effective— to wit, Who ever thought we’d see American teenagers chanting for the rapists and the coldest-blooded murderers

    Thanks! I already understood that,
Personally I think the Hamas prisoners are already dead (or wish they were), whereas the Jan6 prisoners have at least have some hope of being released if the 2024 election is valid.

I’m also all in favor of leveling the strip of land that Ariel Sharon gave away and turning the whole area into a olive tree plantation as a remembrance for the people the Hamas terrorists .raped, kidnapped, tortured, used as shields, and murdered.
I’ll be happy to donate to such a fund.

“division” in a western type of country ( free press etc) is mormal b/c its allowed to be seen

so that fact empowers the leftists to say look…..freedom actually causes problems

and we must shut down free speech so that that division cant be seen

    convoluted

but thats the left for you

    by any means necessary

Interestingly, of the four Israeli “settlers” just sanctioned by Biden (one commented he had never been to the US, had no plans to go, no connection here; the rest seemed similar) the one commonality was that they attacked – not Palestinians – but Israeli left-wing activists.

The purpose of many operations by our State Department is to cause disunity in Israel and to try to get their right-wing government out. The Israeli left-wing “activists” are beloved by our State Department. Not even the State Department can stand the Palestinians.

DOS are Jew haters going way back. Figures they were pushing this idiotic proposal. It’s just going to get worse.

Umm, who thought? Who knew? I did back in the 198os when I was in college.. There were “kill the Jews” rallies back then. My friends and I would show up and mock them.

It is time for Israel to be pragmatic.

What are the consequences of a ceasefire and exchange of hostages for terrorists?

During the ceasefire, Hamas will regroup and become more powerful. This means many more Israelis will die than otherwise.

Fewer overall Israelis deaths will occur if an exchange is not made.

Hamas Reportedly Will Reject Israeli Ceasefire Offer, Wants More Terrorists Freed in Hostage Deal

Good. Then when Hamas formally rejects the deal the IDF should redouble their efforts to eliminate all Hamas terrorists and their allies in the Gaza Strip. And then move the rest that manage to survive over the border into Egypt/Sinai, close and seal the border between Israel and Egypt and be done with the whole lot of fecking Arab terrorists altogether.

And no, I don’t give a rat’s hind end that Egypt doesn’t want them. Let the Arabs deal with these pariah Arabs whether they want to or not.

They’ve still got that problem in Judea and Samaria, and Biden makes noises like he wants to recognize a state there. We can’t get Trump back soon enough!

This is a relief to Israel, which should not be pushed into any ceasefire until the job is done.

As for the hostages, the right way to think of them is dead. Sometimes you even get more of them back that way; you certainly enable your success in the overall military operation. But that is personally difficult and may not even be politically feasible in Israel today.

every cease fire empowers the lefty all over the world

it lets them know that they can strike and hurt you and get relief

imprison those who commit crimes locally ( bragg and alll soros clones etc etc etc)

admit that you cantttt change peoples cultures

and as lefty knows

apathy by pro western freedom lovers is their powerbar

Israel must completely wipe out Hamas, or this will all happen again.

We need to support Israel. It’s not going to be nice. Ultimately we have to destroy Islam no more playing nice.

Remember your Kipling. He advised to roll to your rifle and blow out your brains.

    I don’t think so.
