Report: 302,000 Migrants Encountered at the Border in December

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has encountered over 785,000 migrants since October 1, the beginning of fiscal year 2024.

I figured the U.S. Customs and Border Protection would encounter over 300,000 illegal immigrants in December.

I’m also not shocked they’ve encountered over 785,000 people since October 1 when fiscal year 2024 began.

The official number will come out in mid-January.

This is insanity.

Over 80,000 went through the Tucson Sector

Over 71,000 went through the Del Rio Sector.

I posted this morning that the border patrol has seen numerous Guinea nationals using fake passports identifying themselves as minors.

Some have told officials the Guinean government told them to identify as minors to make it easier to enter America.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton unloaded on President Joe Biden’s administration for “aiding and abetting the cartels.” I don’t think he is wrong since human trafficking is a major problem. The border patrol witnesses many “coyotes” bringing people over the border:

“We’ve got the Biden administration, as I said, aiding and abetting the cartels, encouraging the cartels to make billions of dollars and to bring as many people here as fast as possible, and as soon as possible,” Paxton told Fox News’ Jason Chaffetz on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“That’s what the Biden administration is doing. They’re not just not doing their job, they’re actually encouraging the opposite,” he added.

TY Mary.

I was told the influx is seasonal. Shouldn’t December be off season? I have questions.

In the Good Ole’ Days, a country would respond to an invasion with guns. Today, we give the invaders food, housing, schooling, and all manner of welfare.

Sickening.

    Exactly

I have gotten to the point I get so depressed looking at these numbers I have to look away

No one in any position is really helping us

Abbott and his “law” wow t even come into effect till MARCH

That was all on purpose to do nothing

Abbott doesn’t have anything to do with it. He didn’t write the law, so if you want to blame somebody for the delay until March, blame the lege. It’s their bill. Besides, it only applies to those illegals who are apprehended by State resources, which you pretend don’t exist. These “immigrants” are getting their walking papers from the Feds, as you well know. What Abbott IS doing is shipping them off to “sanctuary cities” so the woke mayors can feel some of the pain and cause them to put pressure on the Feds to do something.

Abbott could have stood for his citizens , closed the border, and dared Biden to arrest him

        He is a coward

Hundreds of Texans have been murdered by these monsters

          You’re a fool and a liar.

By the same logic Trump’s failure to build the wall is equally at fault. DJT allowed himself to be rolled by Ryan and McConnell into signing a budget without funding for the wall, his signature campaign issue.

DJT could have ‘stood up for his Citizens’ by applying his VETO and forcing the DC swamp to fund his wall or risk splitting the party over them trying to overturn his VETO.

Unfortunately DJT, for some reason yet unexplained, didn’t do it and instead meekly agreed to allow the invasion. Nor did DJT ramp up deportations, Obama deported more illegal aliens than DJT.

It’s what Jan 6 was really all about

Got to give it to them, they have cowered the American citizen

300,000 in one month = a Cincinnati in one month….

A little perspective….

I don’t know why someone down voted you. That was my thought too. We are letting in a pretty large city every month! How can anyone think we can absorb that?

And to buttress that perspective the 785,000 let in so far this FY is greater than the size of the basic congressional district which is roughly 760K.

Again.

‘Encounter’ is a funny way of saying, ‘escorting them into the US, feeding them, giving them a free phone, and then letting them loose in the US with a court date 5 years in the future they won’t show up for’

    txvet2 in reply to Olinser. | January 1, 2024 at 4:37 pm

I think you’ll find that the court dates are a lot further away than 5 years. Last I saw, they were up to 10-12 years. Of course, they have no intention of bothering with those. They plan on issuing a general amnesty by the end of this year, if rumors pan out. Naturally, that “ultra-conservative” Speaker that Gaetz foisted off on us will huff and puff and than sign off on it.
