A new Harvard CAPS-Harris poll has found that most Americans support Israel over Hamas, but it also found that 20 percent of Americans support Hamas. The number of Hamas supporters is even higher when you look specifically at young people.

What is going on here?

The Hill reports:

Vast majority of voters back Israel over Hamas: Poll

An overwhelming majority of voters say they support Israel over Hamas in their ongoing war, according to a poll released Monday.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris poll found that 80 percent of respondents said they supported Israel over Hamas in the conflict, compared to 20 percent who said they sided with Hamas more.

That level of support for Israel has essentially remained unchanged since last month, when a similar poll found 81 percent of respondents saying they supported Israel more.

In the latest Harvard CAPS-Harris poll, support for Israel and Hamas was more divided among respondents aged 18-24, with 57 percent of that cohort saying they supported Israel more and 43 percent saying they supported Hamas more.

But the divide in support between Israel and Hamas grows more stark the older the respondent gets, according to the poll. Among respondents aged 25-34, 70 percent say they support Israel, while 30 percent said they supported Hamas.

When respondents 65 and older weighed in, 93 percent said they supported Israel, while 7 percent said they backed Hamas.

You can see the full poll results here. This chart breaks down this issue by age:

As we have pointed out repeatedly, the progressive ideology that divides everyone into oppressors or oppressed has much to do with this. It also explains why younger people are more apt to side against Israel.

The results are still disturbing, however. The kids are not alright.

Did this all start with the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in modern times with Japan converting itself from oppressor to oppressed after the war?

It started when the Marxists figured out that in the US they would never really make the rich vs. poor thing work because there is too much room to move from poor to rich. They picked color brown vs white since you can’t ever not be the color you were born.

People aren’t stupid and it takes severe cognitive dissonance to accept propaganda over reality.

To put that number is perspective, I’m HUGELY skeptical 20% of the country ever supported the Klan. If that polling is accurate, it obviously spells enormous problems for America moving forward.

I suppose it depends on what you define as ‘support’ when discussing the Klan or Hamas. Are we saying support is limited to agreement with their tactics or does support also encompass agreement with ideology and goals but not terrorist tactics?

I think probably either way you support Hamas or the Klan…is bad. They’re both racist/sectarian/ethno-nationalist organizations that believe oppositional races/ethnicities/religions need to be ‘cleansed’. If you support that but believe it should only be done in a non-violent way, that’s still going to be hugely problematic.

Well yeah obviously both are bad.

My point was in relation to your argument that questioned the cited 20% support for Hamas and your further questioning that there existed 20% support for the Klan.

We gotta define what support entails in order to answer the questions b/c until we define the contours of ‘support’ we can’t accurately measure it.

Give the 18-24 females an all expenses paid summer internship with Hamas in Gaza and let’s see if the polling changes.

Hamas and Hamas supporters are flooding certain corners of the Internet with the same propaganda they have always used. This includes a pack of historical lies about how and why Israel was founded, as well as current lies about why Israel attacked Hamas. They’r big on bringing their fabrications to college campuses.

This is my third time around watching this pattern of propaganda, complete with fauxtography and pallywood performances.

Also, the Palestinians in the US are making common cause with the other leftist assholes — Antifa, Code Pink, etc.

They are subversive and display strong criminal tendency’s. Their conduct will becomes worse over time.

The overt support for moslem rapists, murderers .. by the diversity, equity. crowd on woke college campuses exposes the moral rot in higher education.. There is no context in which calls for the genocide of Jews are acceptable..
