Hamas Terrorists in Gaza Surrendering to IDF as Hamas Fires Rockets From Civilian “Humanitarian Zones”

Palestinian terrorists are surrendering in large numbers as the Israeli military makes further advances in Hamas-controlled Gaza. Social media clips posted on Thursday show terrorists belonging to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror groups squatting in Gaza streets after their mass-surrender.

“Several clips filmed in Gaza uploaded onto social media over the last several hours show how the IDF has rounded up dozens of Palestinians — said in Hebrew media reports to be possible Hamas suspects — who have surrendered themselves to Israeli troops in Jabaliya and other areas in the northern Strip,” the Times of Israel reported Thursday. “In one clip, a group of them are seen being transported in the back of an Israeli military vehicle.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is closing in on the Hamas bastion of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where Hamas leadership, including the chief of the terrorist group Yahya Sinwar, are reported to be hiding.

The British newspaper Telegraph reported Thursday:

Yahya Sinwar is “underground,” the Israel Defense Forces has said, as troops surround the home of the Hamas chief in Khan Younis.Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said Sinwar is “not aboveground, he is underground,” but would not elaborate on where Israel believes him to be. “Our job is to find Sinwar and kill him,” he said.Sinwar, believed to be the mastermind of the Oct 7 terror attack, has not been seen in public during the war. Israel has named him and the leader of Hamas’s armed wing, Mohammed Deif, as its top military targets.Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “His house may not be his fortress and he can escape but it’s only a matter of time before we get him.”

With the IDF tightening the noose around Sinwar and other Hamas planners of the October 7 massacre, France and Saudi Arabia have rolled out a joint plan to end the Gaza war, which includes a safe passage for Gaza’s terrorist leadership and a further round of hostages-for-terrorists deal.

The French and Saudi “vision is based on a third country taking in the Hamas terrorist leaders after their removal from the Gaza Strip, and providing guarantees for their amnesty,” the Israeli TV i24NEWS reported Thursday.

IDF: Hamas firing rockets from Gaza humanitarian zones designated by Israel

Facing a certain defeat, Hamas is increasingly using civilians as human shields as it attacks Israeli ground forces and fires rockets at Israeli cities.

Hamas terrorists launched rockets “from inside a humanitarian zone,” the IDF said in a statement on Thursday. “The Hamas terrorist organisation abuses the people of Gaza, utilising them for its acts of terror. Hamas cynically embeds itself in civilian infrastructure, schools, residential areas, near United Nations facilities and even in humanitarian zones – using the civilians as a human shield,” the IDF added.

The IDF continues to find Hamas terrorist infrastructure, such as tunnels, weapons reports, and rocket launch sites, built below or near mosques, hospitals, schools, and residential areas. The deliberate proximity to such locations is part of Hamas’s strategy of maximizing civilian casualties and pressuring Israel into ending the counter-terrorist operation.

The Israeli broadcaster Arutz Sheva reported Thursday:

Over the last few days, the 36th Division have been fighting in close-quarter combat with terrorists in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza. The forces located and destroyed weapons and underground infrastructure, predominantly located inside and in the vicinity of civilian buildings. The soldiers are continuing to operate to dismantle Hamas’ capabilities in the area.In battles on the ground in the Gaza Strip, soldiers of the Golani Brigade have fought against and eliminated dozens of terrorists. The forces have also located tunnel shafts and rocket launchers in the area.Simultaneously, IDF soldiers from the Kfir Brigade located RPG launchers, ammunition and other equipment belonging to Hamas inside a civilian resident.

Netanyahu warns Hezbollah against an ‘all-out war’ with Israel

After Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah increased attacks on northern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Lebanese militia from starting an “all-out war,” Israeli media reports.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that if the Lebanon-based Hezbollah terror group opens an all-out war against Israel, it would be turning Beirut and the south of the country into Gaza. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and IDF commanders in the north for a security briefing,” the Israeli news website Ynet reported.
