Activists at University of Iowa Planning a ‘Trans Day of Revenge’

“The flier instructs attendees to cover their face and hair.”

Some students at the University of Iowa are apparently planning a ‘Trans Day of Revenge’ for December 8th.

From the Iowa Standard:

‘Trans Day of Revenge’ planned for Dec. 8 at University of Iowa, flier depicts Herky hung upside down being beaten by masked individual with bat

Leftists at the University of Iowa are preparing for a “Trans Day of Revenge” according to fliers advertising the Dec. 8 event. The fliers were shared by the conservative group Young Americans Foundation.

Following Chloe Cole’s presentation at the University of Iowa in October, multiple protestors were arrested for blocking traffic outside the event. Cole is a victim of radical gender ideology. She is a detransitioner. You can read about her presentation here.

In response to police enforcing the law, leftists are using a flyer of a masked figure beating Herky the Hawk with a spiked bat to push the Dec. 8 “Trans Day of Revenge” event. The flier instructs attendees to cover their face and hair.

Trans activists seem threatened by the idea of people who detransition. Chloe Cole should not be a controversial figure, yet the left reacts in extreme ways when she appears on a college campus.

David Strom of Hot Air makes a good point on this:

Think about what they are saying: they need to hide their identities to get “revenge” because a young woman who thought she was transgender decided she wasn’t. She is trying to help others avoid her fate, and for that, violence or threats of violence are the solution.

Chloe Cole’s speech was, in their view, just another example of the ongoing genocide of trans people. If you think this makes no sense, you don’t yet grasp the foundation of alphabet ideology: reality exists only in the mind, and denial of one’s self-image is denial of the person’s existence. Hence, it is genocide.

They truly believe that. It is why they use terms like “erase” to describe people disagreeing with them. It is our job to affirm their delusions.

There is no reasoning with these people because there is no common ground, and never can be. Their “reality” is the only reality, and if you don’t embrace it, you are committing violence.

One thing is certain. Peaceful people merely seeking acceptance, do not plan events based on revenge.

Trump has been one of leading supporters of trans rights and inclusion. This is most evident is his push to allow trans in his Miss Universe Beauty Pageant.

“For more than two weeks, the Miss Universe Organization and Mr. Trump made it clear to GLAAD that they were open to making a policy change to include women who are transgender. We appreciate that Trump and his team responded swiftly and appropriately,” GLAAD said in a statement.

That may be so, but using threats of violence because someone decided to leave the alphabet plantation doesn’t fare well for their cause.

      Not everything requires violent acts.

What was once “we want our rights” became “accept us or die!”

Need proof? Signs associated with violent acts using a spiked bat, and suggesting hiding identities. BLM, Antifa, and now confused sexual deviants want to bring violence with hidden identities.

I don’t have to accept someone else’s delusions, and I don’t need to be threatened by them when I don’t.

Ban them from campus for creating hostile environment for other students. Internet courses only. If they set foot on campus, trespass them and expel them.

Wait til they form up to protest then round up the lot. Cops in riot gear and batons. Cops, not campus ‘security.’

Milhouse in reply to venril. | December 2, 2023 at 7:56 pm

On what charges? They haven’t done anything wrong yet. The poster is protected speech, so neither the university nor the cops can take any action against those who published it, let alone anyone who responds to the call. They have to wait for someone to break a law.

So, inciting violence is protected speech?

          Milhouse in reply to LB1901. | December 3, 2023 at 7:21 am

They are not inciting violence. “Incitement” has a very specific and narrow definition, and anything outside that definition is protected speech. This flyer is absolutely protected; that is black letter law.

Haven’t you heard. Precrime is the up and coming thing. It would be selfish of conservatives to keep all that targeting to themselves.

Oh, Milhouse. You long for the days of the KKK showing up on Howard University in full masked and hooded regalia, all so you can say “but they haven’t done anything wrong, it’s protected speech, they haven’t commuted any violence.”

How about National Guard, Kent State. It seems that Trans are excessively aggressive,

Terrorism training 101.

1) Dress the part (so the other terrorists don’t accidentally target you).
2) Arm yourself. “Direct action” comes from the shoulders, not the heart.
3) Hide your identity, because jail is for bad people, not you.
4) Make them afraid.
5) Make them suffer.
6) Bask in the warm glow of being one of the good people, not one of the sheep.

They have not (yet) threatened anyone, so they can’t be arrested. The police should certainly be there to catch them should they harm anyone, or should they make a genuine threat.

Hodge in reply to Milhouse. | December 3, 2023 at 9:19 am

Exactly – We agree. Talk is so cheap, it’s free. The writer of the pamphlet is completely within his/her/other rights to generate it, and distribute it. The only people who should get into any trouble are those dumb enough to take the author up on his suggestion and ACT on it.

My point is that if they DO act, they should be pretty easy to spot in their distinctive costumes on a pre-identified date. That’s the stupid part

To be completely honest, were I a policeman on the scene in that instance I might be tempted to do something a policeman friend says he does upon occasion – put them in the police car and drive them downtown to the station…and release them without charges

      As he put it:

“Maybe I can’t put you in jail, but I can sure take you for a ride for a nice look at it.”

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to Hodge. | December 2, 2023 at 8:04 pm

    Please, don’t do that.

It surprises me that the young guys on campus don’t have good fun beating the f*ck out of these sick weirdos. It’s one thing to be ‘tolerant’ of weirdos, but when they start pushing it like this they need to get their teeth knocked out.

The same people who claim your gender can change hourly and should be accepted as legitimate literally want to murder people who…. change back?

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | December 2, 2023 at 2:02 pm

Is this “Trans Day of Revenge” meant to commemorate all the trans mass shooters of late?

The Nashville shooter did her dirty work on that first(?) Trans Day of Revenge, didn’t she?

Morning Sunshine | December 2, 2023 at 2:12 pm

Fine. Let them do it. BUT

let’s follow the example of Esther. Anyone can defend themselves, their property, and others from this “day of revenge” without repercussions. See, easy.

don’t start nuthin, won’t be nuthin

What an insane world

They don’t tolerate this crap in Japan or Russia

Cultural Marxist on the move

It’s interesting how these trans individuals end up with the worst of the two genders in terms of emotions. While they claim that their testosterone levels are down due to the androgen blockers, they seem more than willing to commit male-oriented acts of violence (e.g., the spiked club in the poster in the story). At the same time, they have the histrionic posturing that they, the trans community, believe women have and seek to emulate.

It’s the worst of both worlds.

U of Iowa is irresponsible if it doesn’t immediately and preemptively post the Student Accountability Procedure then enforce it to the max for ALL offenders (students and faculty) and ALL organizations who support this proposed thuggery. To do less is to pull an Oberlin and self destruct.

Section 11: Suspension / Expulsion Case Resolution
In cases where an investigator determines that it is more likely than not that a policy violation occurred and the most likely sanction for the behavior is suspension or expulsion, the Associate Dean, Accountability and Care, or their designee, has the authority to suspend or expel the Responding Student.

Will they be murdering young Christians again?

Bring back anti-masking laws.
Coincidence that the Covid mask push gave great cover for leftist groups who commit mayhem???

Many states have enacted laws banning the wearing of masks for the purpose of concealing one’s identity during the commission of a crime, including attendance at or participation in a riot or unlawful gathering. While it depends on the wording of the laws, of course, those laws still in effect have withstood constitutional scrutiny.

While I am a staunch supported of free speech, I accept that there are limits. Reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions on protests, for example. I also accept that speech urging others to
engage in imminent conduct when there is a substantial likelihood of imminently causing such conduct, especially violent conduct, (see 18 U.S.C. §1093(3)) can be criminalized.

Imagine the reaction if anyone called for a counter-protest. Can you imagine the splodey heads?

While Iowa may not have a specific law addressing the wearing of masks or disguises during the commission of a crime, I think that a reasonable person could interpret that flier as a call to violence.

If universities can cancel speaker appearances and presentations on campus claiming “security concerns” as excuses, surely the University of Iowa can disallow this stupid Trans Temper Tantrum Day for the same reason, and arrest violators for criminal trespass.

The difference is that when a university bans a conservative presenter, they don’t ignore the ban and just show up anyway, meaning that the U need never learn effective enforcement, which they are crap at. For better or worse, conservatives collude in their own censorship by honoring the rule of law, while Marxists and Islamists don’t.
