New York City School Walkout ‘For Palestine’ Scheduled for 3 PM ET

“NO BUSINESS AS USUAL UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE”

New York City faces a citywide student and staff walkout for an anti-Israel rally in Bryant Park today at 3 PM ET.

It looks like the “movement” had a rally in Toronto this morning, along with Michigan and San Diego.

A rally is set for 2 PM PT in San Francisco. Atlanta will face one tonight at 6 PM ET.

The Palestinian Youth Movement and others encouraged people to walk out of school along with picketing Israeli embassies, consulates, and companies that supposedly profit from companies who profit off of Israel’s non-occupation of “Palestine.”

Yes, wear your keffiyehs and black armbands:

We, the Palestinian Youth Movement, along with @nationalsjp, @answercoalition, @peoplesforumnyc, and @peoples.assembly, are calling on movements, trade unions, youth, students, media, healthcare workers, and all members of society to demand an immediate ceasefire, cutting all aid to the Zionist project, and lifting the siege on Gaza NOW!

NOW is the moment in history for the world to take action against the genocide of Palestinians and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people towards our path to liberation. Continue building momentum and increase pressure by joining the national shutdown for Palestine on Thursday, November 9th. Take direct action through walk-outs, sit-ins, speak-outs, and all forms of protest directed at the Zionist institutions which fund, invest, and collaborate with Israel’s genocide and occupation of Palestinians.

NO BUSINESS AS USUAL UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE

“Until Palestine is free.” They’re getting creative with how they say they want to annihilate Israel, Israelis, and Jews.

Chancellor David Banks reminded teachers that the Education Department has political speech rules:

In an email to school staff Wednesday, Banks urged educators to keep their personal political beliefs out of the classroom — and warned that even out-of-school political activity can violate city rules if it “disrupts … the school environment.”

“When speech and action — even on one’s personal time — undermines the mission or core functions of NYCPS, we will review and take appropriate action on a case-by-case basis,” he wrote.

Perhaps the education of these skulls full of mush would be better served if the school taught… gee, I don’t know… facts about history.

With this latest stunt, they might as well burp up fantasies about ‘wakanda.’ There’s no such nation called palestine, either, and never has been.

Likewise there’s no people group called palestinians, and never has been. They are simply Arabs in Gaza – mongrel Arabs that no other Arab nation wants inside their borders.

Facts matter, but the 1st casualty of war is truth. The second casualty is always children, and NY schools don’t mind hiding behind them.

They picked an interesting anniversary to throw their propaganda party.

It’s the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration and Kristallnacht. Wikipedia lists a couple dozen more major events on November 9, but these two seem to me to be the only relevant ones.

So I just learned that Kristallnacht happened on the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, in which the British government supported the “establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish People”. Coincidence? If Kristallnacht actually was a spontaneous response to a random murder, it has to be coincidence. Otherwise, we’re deep into conspiracy theory territory, like thinking the Nazis not only killed one of their own and framed a Jewish boy to trigger a pogrom, but that they deliberately picked this date…

The sheer, narcissistic ARROGANCE.

Absolutely NOBODY in Israel cares that some coddled high school whiners walked out of their school.

So the walkout starts at three?

Three o’clock?

When kids get out of school?

Things are getting pretty damn spicy and the divisions within the d/prog coalition gonna have to be addressed at some point by prominent d/prog politicians. The longer this unhinged ‘both sides’ crap goes unaddressed much less the street violence directed at those who support Israel, the bigger the festering mess becomes. That ’24 d/prog nominating convention in Chicago is gonna be lit with dueling factions.

Can we fire them for this?

Is there any hope that the good Germans/secular Jews of NY will rethink their progressivism?

One would think so, as they look at their fellow travelers on the progressive spectrum siding with the Monsters of Paleshtein, but they have a history of being stiff-necked.

And it may never occur to them that none of the Jewh8 is coming from the Neanderthals on the right.

No hope for them to rethink their progressivism. I hope I am wrong.

Today, many Jews would be voting to stay in Egypt under Pharaoh than go out into the desert and the unknown.

Today, the (insert Gestapo or equivalent reference here) has moved away from rounding up Jews and putting them on trains leading to slaughter. The logistics is too difficult. They just decided to start killing Jews where they live and invited “journalists” to document it.

“Today, many Jews would be voting to stay in Egypt under Pharaoh than go out into the desert and the unknown.”

But then again, so did the originals.

Moses carried a big stick for more than one reason.

I think there is. Several big Jewish donors have stopped giving to Penn, Columbia and Harvard that I’ve heard of. I don’t know why it took them so long — couldn’t they find a better cause to give to — but better late than never.

Students are angry and fearful now of being doxed and therefore becoming unhireable by all those terrible Jewish employers that they expected to be able to work for! Let those protesters find others of their own ilk to hire them, but that’s hard to do because they’re unproductive useless bottom feeders who have been leeching off their betters here for far too long.

What would happen if students and staff “walked out” (at quitting time?) to attend counter-rallies for Israel, to condemn mass rape, murder, and war crimes, or to uphold the values of Western Civilization? I suspect we know – and the response of the NYC school board would be a blatant violation of the First Amendment, because they are not worried about any consequences other than a court ruling months or years later…
