Indiana Woman in Custody for Allegedly Driving Car Into ‘Jewish School’

The Indianapolis police arrested Ruba Almaghtheh, 34, for allegedly driving into what she thought was a Jewish school.

From Fox News:

According to a police report, officers were called to the building around 11:30 p.m. Friday to investigate a possible hate crime.Upon arrival, officers say they found Ruba Almaghtheh, 34, who had backed her car into the building while several adults and children were inside. Police labeled Almaghtheh a “terrorist” according to Fox 59.Officers say Almaghtheh told them she was watching news coverage of the Israel-Hamas war on television, and was offended by the “Hebrew Israelite” symbol on the outside building – so she decided to attack the building.

But get this. The Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge, which has been labeled an anti-semitic hate group, used the building:

However, the Anti-Defamation League defines the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge as an “extreme and antisemitic” sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites. The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the Black Hebrew Israelites as a hate group.

The police report said that she referred to “her people back in Palestine” and admitted she hit the building on purpose.
