Elon Musk Meets With Benjamin Netanyahu In Israel: “It is one thing to kill civilians accidentally, it is another to revel in the killing of civilians. It’s just evil.”
Netanyahu and Musk “agreed on the clear lesson — there is no chance for peace or security as long as Hamas exists.”
Elon Musk has been under fire of late for supposed antisemitic comments (that weren’t) that outraged the left . . . who are currently holding pro-Hamas rallies, singing songs about the decimation of Israel and the genocide of Jews the world over, cheering the rape and slaughter of defenseless Jewish women and children, and hunting down, even killing, Jews on American soil. So yeah, not buying their faux outrage over fake claims of Musk’s supposed antisemitism.
If there were any doubt, however, Musk’s trip to Israel and long meeting with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu put it to rest.
The ever-fabulous Ed Morrissey reports:
Elon Musk made a fact-finding trip to Israel this weekend after taking criticism for a tweet response that critics called anti-Semitic, and ended up discovering the obvious. After touring some of the areas attacked on October 7, the self-professed Chief Twit had a one-on-one with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the implications of the massacres in southern Israel.
They agreed on the clear lesson — there is no chance for peace or security as long as Hamas exists.
. . . . However, Netanyahu goes much farther than that in the clip above of the X/Spaces/Live Chat event; Netanyahu thinks the Gazans can be rehabilitated from their insane levels of Jew-hatred as well. He credits the governments involved in the Abraham Accords for deep cultural changes that allow for old hatreds to be suppressed and eventually ended. Netanyahu foresees their assistance in helping to transform Gaza, especially its mosques and schools, similar to what took place in Germany and Japan after World War II.
Musk appears to be genuinely moved by his visit to one of the sites of the October 7th massacre and by his viewing of Hamas tapes as they gleefully raped, murdered, and terrorized innocent citizens who had been just going about their lives.

That moment when Elon Musk has to do the job of some journalists because they're too busy calling Hamas "the resistance" and condemning Israel for defending itself. https://t.co/Y1KjvzDKAy

Benjamin Netanyahu & Elon Musk Discuss Israel's Fight Against Hamas Live on Twitter Spaces

Here’s the text of the above tweet excerpted from the Netanyahu and Musk Twitter (X) Spaces discussion:
Remember that what Israel suffered on this ignominious day of October 7th was proportionately like twenty 9/11’s. So when people say make a ceasefire and Hamas says, ‘If we’re still around, we’re going to do it again and again and again.’ That’s a direct quote…So obviously we can’t do that any more than America would make a ceasefire with Al-Qaeda after 9/11, and this is twenty 9/11’s so they have to go and they will go…Then I think we can build a different future with the Palestinians.
Here’s another one:

I’m not sure how I feel about Musk inserting himself into global affairs (he’s kind of idealistic and thus naive), but this trip may just break through to some Democrats who really have no idea what is going on in the Middle East with regard to Israel and Gaza, who and what Hamas is, and why Israel is so important.
In that light, Musk’s trip to Israel: however many millions for his private jet plus security.
Musk seeing with his own eyes the pure evil that took place on October 7th and then sitting down with Bibi after watching the Hamas and IDF vids already uploaded to the internet and/or previously shared with the media: free.
This meeting breaking through to at least a few confused Democrats who have drunk the pro-terrorist, anti-Israel koolaid: priceless.

Comments
It might even be deliberately:
“Can we think of a case in which something is done deliberately but not intentionally? Certainly this seems more difficult. However, there are cases.
“I am summoned to quell a riot in India. Speed is imperative. My mind runs on the action to be taken five miles down the road at the Residency. As I set off down the drive, my cookboy’s child’s new gocart, the apple of her eye, is right across the road. I realize I could stop, get out, and move it, but to hell with that: I must push on. It’s too bad, that’s all: I drive right over it and am on my way. In this case, a snap decision is taken on what is essentially an incidental matter. I did drive over the gocart deliberately, but not intentionally – nor, of course, unintentionally either…”

Gaza counts every dead terrorist as a dead civilian.
Given the level of support that the Iranian death cult has in Gaza, one is justified in thinking every Arab death in Gaza is a Hamas death.
With Elon in Israel, this is stuck in my brain:

I never saw that one before. Thanks!!

Be nice if Elon shut down all the palestinian terrorists and their sister sites.
It would be nice, but it would go against his stated commitment to freedom of speech, which he seems to genuinely believe in. He should certainly detail reliable people to keep a sharp eye on those sites, and shut them down the moment they cross a line, but shutting them all down would not seem to be on the cards.
Bibi is nuts
Not going to happen
If Musk can help Gen Z to see how easy they are played by their idiotic and immoral influencers, especially the professors and entertainers, that would be good.
As for Palestinian rehabilitation, it was coming and it’s not out of the question. Palestinians, too, need sunlight.
Gonna be a tough nut to crack, especially considering the number loonies in the West who don’t have nearly the same focused indoctrination on this single issue. Granted some of these Hamas supporters in the West are using it as an excuse for anarchy and generalized anti Western Civilization/anti capitalist actions. It’s worth an attempt at reform for the youngest in Gaza. I doubt many adults in Gaza are salvageable; they have been steeped in hate too long and it is has become part of their identity. Not to mention many of them have more than a little blood on their own hands. Asking them to be introspective and accept responsibility or feel guilt for the actions their current worldview frames as justified is a pretty tough sell.
Take Hamas away and who knows? Arabs seem ready. Maybe they will call out the Palestinians as fake and reclaim their members. Maybe, exposed to the lies, seeing that Arabs in Israel have it better than other normal Arabs, they will choose a better life, as they did when the Zionists started to develop the land. No one expects a lovefest, but the terrain has changed, and if the Arab world buys in that will move things forward,
Same with Musk and the masses of misled. There is no doubt that some people are in need of education and to be informed how easily their trust is abused. If he can do some of that, great.
IMO, Americans who protest in support of Hamas do so because there is no downside. Lengthy jail sentences for all protestors who break the law (I’m talking 5-10 years minimum) would go a long way toward eliminating 80% of the participants,
“That weren’t” is linked to this article from the NY Post, whose original headline was “Elon Musk backpedals after calling antisemitic X post ‘the actual truth'”.
At some later point the headline was changed to “Elon Musk sparks backlash after endorsing antisemitic post that Jews promote ‘hatred against whites’”. But it still characterizes the original post as antisemitic, and in the article it still says “Musk seemingly tried to backpedal on his post”.
Whether the original post was actually antisemitic is debatable; I think it probably was, but I don’t think that’s how Musk understood it when he endorsed it. He hasn’t backpedaled, he’s simply clarified what people who weren’t looking to attack him assumed all along: that he did not understand “Jewish communities” to mean “all Jewish communities”, let alone “Jews in general” (and, in my opinion, that he confused “communities” with “organizations”). He repeated his view that some Jewish “communities” have done so, and gave the ADL as an example. The ADL is not a community, but his meaning is clear, and he’s correct.
The Post also falsely claimed about the original post: “…after a user posted the antisemitic trope that Jews want to bring undocumented minority populations into Western countries to reduce white majorities.” It is true that some believe (with some reason) such a plan to exist, and it is true that antisemites have seized on this and are loudly blaming it on the Jews, and it’s even possible that the original poster is one of those antisemites, but there was nothing about it in the post Musk endorsed. That one was entirely about “dialectical hatred against whites”, which is not the same thing at all, and which the ADL has in fact been pushing, at least indirectly and perhaps inadvertently.
If the Israelis and civilized society truly believe — “there is no chance for peace or security as long as Hamas exists.”
Then, finish the job.
I don’t like all this focus on Hamas, which leads directly to the conclusion that once Hamas is destroyed Israel should hand it all to Fatah instead. Fatah and PIJ and PFLP and all the others are exactly the same. The differences between them are irrelevant. They all want the same thing, if for different reasons: dead Jews.
Wm. Spaniel says there’s a market for violence and if Hamas doesn’t fufill it some other organization will spring up to do it.
Good guy to follow for strategy in Ukraine and Gaza both.

The source of terrorists are those 75% of Arabs who raise their children to be terrorists. About half of Gazans are children 18 and under, I suspect that those 4 and up are probably unsalvageable. What these people have done to their children is awful for everyone.
So here’s a suggestion: hamas got elected by ballot. If most Palestinians think that hamas are the dogs they are, offer them an Israeli option when they vote again for someone to run Gaza. It would e interesting to see how they vote.
Musk is free to comment on what he wants and people are free to listen to him or not. That’s part of free speech. The left just can’t stand it when someone who doesn’t fall in lockstep with their set of cult rules has a substantial platform.
Musk as always after seeing the facts on the ground speaks truth to power and the woke narrative
I weary of Elon’s elan.
You must be lonely.
