Israel Ambassador to UN: We Will Wear the Yellow Star Until You ‘Condemn the Atrocities of Hamas’

“Some of you have learned nothing in the past 80 years. Some of you have forgotten why this body was established.”

Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilrad Erdan, has had enough of the farce that is the United Nations.

Erdan and his team will wear the yellow star the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear until the UN comes to its senses and condemn Hamas:

“Some of you have learned nothing in the past 80 years. Some of you have forgotten why this body was established,” he says.

“So, I will remind you. From this day on, each time you look at me, you will remember what staying silent in the face of evil means.”

“Just like my grandparents and the grandparents of millions of Jews, from now on, my team and I will wear Yellow stars. We will wear this star until you wake up and condemn the atrocities of Hamas.”

Translation from Google:

Today I announced in the Security Council that a yellow patch will be worn to remind the disgrace of her silence in the face of the atrocities committed by the Hamas Nazis. I made it clear to the council members that we swore after the Holocaust, NEVER AGAIN, therefore there will be no ceasefire and we will continue until Hamas is destroyed, so that such atrocities will never happen again. Sadly, too much of the world is not silent, but cheering.

Yes! Rub their faces in it. They deserve no less, particularly the Hamas loving Secretary General!

Israel should withdraw from the UN, and ban any officials from entering Israel. If they try to, they should be arrested and tried for war crimes, just like Eichmann, and executed.

I understand that impulse but I think it is better to keep going and rub their faces in it day after day.

They are fanatic and insatiable in their Jew-hatred. They are beyond redemption and should be treated like the genocidal war criminals that they are.

Treat them like a rabid animals, except with the animal we regret having to put them down, no regret for Pale’s.

And, to follow up on your point, if anyone from this disgusting Administration ever steps foot in Israel again, don’t hesitate to arrest Joe Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, KJP, and the entire lot for aiding, abetting, and financing Hamas.

maybe there should be a replacement for the UN, a tighter knit group of allies?

Bold move.

I approve of boldness. Bold: “fearless before danger”

Fear it will fall on deaf ears but hope they have the power to fight the UN

I don’t suppose there’s any chance that the US delegation will join them in wearing the yellow stars….. it would be a bold move and the right thing to do,cos I’m sure the FJB puppeteers have ruled it out.

It brings tears to my eyes to suggest such a thing, but, the ambassador ought bring a lamp to his table with a shade stenciled “Remember” or “Juden”.

Close up and normal view pictures of the numbered tattoo. I saw one in person once and it about knocked me over. I thought I had mentally prepared for it, but it was so overwhelming…

Today symbolism has replaced action. Simply withdraw from the U.N.

That’s not only symbolism. It’s much more. It’s the finger.

Ghostrider in reply to E Howard Hunt. | October 31, 2023 at 7:58 am

I think your comment is rational but in this situation it’s mistaken. The UN wants Israel to withdraw.

An Israeli withdrawal means Israel’s voice goes silent, and the atrocities perpetrated by Hamas and Iran are forgotten. These radical Muslim extremists are provoking them to do something like withdrawal on purpose as an irrational, emotional response.

No, Israel should stay in the UN and continue to show the world what real hate crimes look like and continue to pressure and influence the PR game to maximum impact.

Eric R. in reply to Ghostrider. | October 31, 2023 at 8:29 am

The UN is irredeemable. There is not only no point in Israel staying in it, but the UN should be treated as a terrorist organization and attacked. That would include UNRWA people in the Palestinian areas, UNIFIL in Lebanon, the World Court, and the UNHRC. I think an IDF Commando raid on the last one would be a good idea.

A very simple but for most people in the West a visceral image to remind them what is at stake. IMO this is an incredibly powerful tool to shape public perception. Obviously there are far too many people in the West, many of them imported, who are so indoctrinated into their hateful ideology of oppressor v oppressed and its corollary by any means necessary that it may not work. At minimum it offers another opportunity for the enemies of Western Civilization to out themselves when they oppose, condemn or ridicule the stance of the Ambassador.

The world needs a reminder that “Zionism” isn’t just the trendy bogeyman that you bitch about with your friends in your dorm room. It is, when you get right down to it, the practical ability of the Jewish people to defend themselves against genocide.

And, their ability to live in Jews’ ancient, ancestral homeland, which pre-dates Islam’s founding by millennia.

I really don’t think anyone at the UN
gives a rats a$$ about a yellow star
they know what it means and would cheer Hitler for doing it.
the president of Turkey asked if the west was ready for another crusader war … to which I will add
it didn’t work out so well the last time did it…

Going to the Holocaust industry act is a bad move. The right move is making yourself more loveable, not more annoying.

Eric R. in reply to rhhardin. | October 31, 2023 at 8:30 am

Well, the main UN is in NYC, so Israel can’t nuke it, but maybe the UNHRC in Geneva. Switzerland is a hotbed of Jew-hatred.

“Annoying”? Do you think the Israeli message at the UN is “annoying”?

Are your comments often disgusting because your filter works poorly, or is it simply your nature?

Emmanuel Levinas set the standard, and the reason to adopt the standard, at the end of his Preface to Existence and Existents:

These studies begun before the war were continued and written down for the most part in captivity. The stalag is evoked here not as a guarantee of profundity nor as a claim to indulgence, but as an explanation for the absence of any consideration of those philosophical works published, with so much impact, between 1940 and 1945.

    Need no advice from antisemites.

Dolce Far Niente in reply to rhhardin. | October 31, 2023 at 11:59 am

This might be the most disingenuous statement I’ve heard you make. Your subtext is that the Jews instigate their own genocide by not being loveable enough.

Only a Jewphobic would blandly make such a statement, but just as telling, your reference to the “Holocaust industry” is plucked right from the pages of those who blame the tiny hats for…well… everything.

The Holocaust isn’t an argument for anything since the Holocaust. It’s a crutch for an omitted argument.

The thing to mention is, e.g., sick Palestinians treated in Israeli hospitals.

The benefits of trade, normal relations.

The Palestinian argument is hurt feelings. Do something to counter that instead of copying it.

Here’s a Solomon-like solution: require that all international aid to Gaza be given to Israel for Israel to pass on when they want.

    A positive UN step.

Israel already wants to help Gaza, and Gaza would get added incentive to be nice to Israel.

The UN should go the way of the League of Nations.

Forget the yellow star and arm yourselves! Do not think stubbornness will save your people. Get tough and fight back on every front including in USA elections.

I certainly stand with the Jews and Israelis who are experiencing this latest wave of antisemitism.

But does anyone remember when certain Jews (the ADL, IIRC) were outraged when some of us protested the poison jab by wearing yellow stars? “How dare you appropriate OUR symbol of victimization”?

Yup. 👍🏻
